Cambodia is one of the main tourism countries in South East Asia after the war was ended in 1998 and Siem Reap is rolling as the most important place for tourist visit amongst three main destinations (Phnom Penh Capital is a commercial and tourism city, Sihanouk Ville is the seaside for shipping from/to over sea and for tourist attraction with beaches, Islands and seafood so on).

The Siem Reap town today includes a large part of Angkor area, the well-known UNESCO-protected world heritage site, which is a symbol of glorious Cambodian history and culture. In the Angkor era between the 9th and 15th century, the ancient city of Angkor Thom was developed – one of the largest city of the world at that time, characterized by an orthogonal system covering an area of 9 km² and playing an important role as magnificent capital and metropolis. 

Siem Reap town comprising about 100000 people living and it is becoming the main attraction for visitor from different countries around the world. In Siem Reap and other destinations in Cambodia are related to culture and heritage tourism which every year the number of visitor from over sea keep increasing such as 2010 there were about 2.3 millions visitors. The visitor can stay between 3-7 days for different attractions around the city.
