Being India’s land of the rising sun, Arunachal Pradesh receives the first rays of the sun while the rest of the country is still asleep. Arunachal Pradesh is one of the few states with the largest number of tribes in India. The community has traditionally been either warrior or agrarian that practiced shifting cultivation till the 1960s. Each of these tribes has their own unique stories, cultures, dressing, dances, and songs. Arunachal Pradesh is densely forested and comprises of Siang and Subansiri rivers.
