Marrakech Day Trip including Lunch, Camel Ride from Casablanca
From $131.43 (Price varies by group size )
Marrakesh in one day
, Feb 2020
Nice lunch on arrival, good walking tour, starting with the palace and the medina, followed by the central square. The guide was knowledgeable and outgoing. Good trip over all. The downside is that it is a long way from Casablanca and you spend a lot of time in the van. The van is comfortable and has wi-fi keeping you connected.
Mohammed was a great driver for 3 hours each way and our guide Youssef was terrific in explaining history and culture about Marrakech
We also stopped for a camel ride which we would not be able to get back in the states
The trip is well worth it from Casablanca
Where do I begin? Our drive from Casablanca to Marrakech was about an hour and a half. The driver stopped halfway at a gas station so we could load up on local snacks and drinks. Our first stop was a camel ride (actually Dromedaries), what a blast. Our guide made some camel shaped rings from palm fronds for the girls (super cool). Once we arrived in town, we immediately took a walk through the city and went to lunch. The place we ate was phenomenal, great food, great service, great experience. Our guide youseff was absolutely phenomenal. He took us through the Médina marketplace, we experienced live Moroccan rug making, argan oil making and handmade leather shoes and bags. In addition, we stopped at a communal bread oven and hammas to see how they heat the baths. We had some free time to shop and then back to Casablanca. All in all, an amazing experience. Just remember that you can always say NO to any shopping. They’re very good at trying to get you to purchase things but never feel bad if you say no thanks. Yes they pressure you but again, just say no. Great tour!!! Highly recommend.

Afternoon Half Day Tour.
, Jan 2020
It was an afternoon, half day tour of Casablanca. Good thing was that I booked it in the morning, for the afternoon, and viator efficiently coordinated it. The down side was the driver, who was the guide as well, was bit late. As a result some of the attractions were about to close when we reached there, like the Notre Dame de Lourdes and Central Marketplace. About Corniche, while passing by, I was pointed in a direction saying Corniche is that way. However, we managed to catch the last English tour of the Hassan 2 mosque, which was the highlight of the afternoon.
Our guide was incredibly personable & was extremely informative. He was very willing to answer all our questions on local issues & made some great food recommendations. As we had limited time in Casablanca, this tour was exactly what we needed to see the highlights of Casablanca!
We found the tour to be a little underwhelming. It was nice to have a car and guide to answer questions about local culture and show us around the major areas, but it mostly boiled down to convenience over haggling about taxi fares and trying to get around on our own. Unless you're super interested in the full itinerary, you might be able to get most of the experience by going to the Mosque yourself and walking down the ocean boardwalk.
Cover Casablanca highlights on a half-day tour that explores some of the city’s most fascinating destinations, from Rick’s Café to colonial-era streets. Traveling by vehicle ensures safe, comfortable sightseeing, and you’ll have the flexibility to tailor the day to your interests, choosing between convenient morning and afternoon departure times.
COLORS AND LANDSCAPES OF MOROCCO
Discover the best of Morocco with this 10-day loop, featuring the imperial cities of Rabat, Meknes, Fes, and Marrakech, And blue city of chefchaouen, as well as several days in the desert. You'll navigate the streets of ancient medinas, ride a camel over shifting sands in the Sahara, explore mud-brick cities in desert towns, and cross the high rocky peaks of the Atlas mountains.
I was genuinely surprised how much I enjoyed this excursion. Firstly, massive credit must go to the Balloon company. The pilot picked us up from our hotel at exactly the time that they stated and was wonderfully entertaining for the drive out to the balloon site. There was a bit of a delay in getting in the air due to wind restrictions but once we were up the views were breathtaking. You will see the sun breaking above the Atlas mountains and travel at about 800 meters, so you can still make out all the details of the happenings below. The pilot continued his good humored story telling while in the air, and the landing is quite exciting.
Once landed and the balloon is packed onto the trailer, it's back to the departure site for a traditional Berber breakfast. Tea, different olives, breads and preserves in a wonderful setting.
I can't recommend this trip enough...
if you ever get the chance to go on this trip i would definately do it, first class treatment from start to finish, guide was a good laugh and amazed how smooth journey was with beautiful views and nice snacks before and after...brilliant!!!

Amin was right on time and full of information both coming and going. He had a passion for explaining things with a perfect and dramatic English.
Our tour guide Idissi had his work cut out for him because he had grown up in the old Médina and wanted us to understand its cultural and historical significance to Fes. There was so much. It was a tour that could’ve lasted more than a day. We couldn’t have done it without him. We had amazing opportunities to see The artists at work, including ceramics makers, rug weavers, and the leather tannery. There was never any pressure to buy but it is a great place to shop. Most of thee methods are traditional,’passed down and use organic methods. Amazing.
Me and my son took this private tour to Fez from Casablanca and we are glad that we did so. It was an amazing experience in the old Medina of Fez. Our driver Samid was highly professional and at the same time very friendly. We had a wonderful time!!
This was our first trip to Fes and the drive there was very pleasant. The vehicle was nice and clean, the wifi was strong and the driver was pleasant. Once we arrived the tour guide was great. He ensured we saw the riches of Fes and the history. The lunch was wonderful. Highly recommend.

Casablanca: The Medina and Beyond Morning Cultural Walking Tour
Memorable Casablanca walking tour
, Jan 2020
Our Casablanca walking tour did not disappoint. Bennis was an excellent guide. Thank goodness we got to spend part of the tour riding in a van—the weather was rainy and windy and some of the sights could never have been seen if we’d had to walk to them. Highlights were the Olive Market and the trip to the famous Bennis Bakery. It was a terrific four hours!
Really happy with the content of this tour, the guide Bennis was very knowledgeable about the whole city, was very patient and answered any questions, no matter what topic. The option of paying a small amount in cash to see inside the mosque was the best surprise. Would recommend you do this the first day of your trip to Casablanca.
This tour was a great intro into Casablanca and I was surprised at what the city has to offer. My guide and driver was excellent and went out of their way to understand more about what I was interested in, see and do. I've been to Casablanca once before but didn't have a chance to see much, so having a guide show me the hidden away places was excellent and we walked and drove around areas I hadn't seen before. I would recommend this tour - well organised, excellent guide. Gives me a list of places I want to go back to and re-visit!
Seeing Casablanca’s highlights is one thing; getting to know the real city quite another. This small-group tour obliges: with a guide to show you places many visitors overlook and provide glimpses into local culture. Admire the Hassan II Mosque and Mahkama du Pacha—the latter inaccessible alone— see Rick’s Café from the 1942 Casablanca movie, sample freshly baked bread, and stroll the medina to shop and sample culinary treats.
We were pleased with our driver and experience. I only suggest that it be more explicit that the meeting place is at the outside exit - since many car services/transportation meet after the passport control exit inside airport. We were very pleased and recommend this service.
If you’re in a new city at the airport, you can be an easy target for getting overcharged for a ride. Avoid that situation altogether by pre-booking your ride from Casablanca Mohammed V International Airport (CMN) to your Hotel or any other accommodation in Casablanca, Rabat, Marrakech, Fez or Chefchaoun. with this private arrival service. Your driver meets you right at the airport with a sign featuring your name, and even helps you get your luggage to the air-conditioned vehicle.
Experience the culture of Marrakech and discover its hidden wonders on this small-group tour. Save yourself an estimated two hours traveling by private vehicle rather than the train. Take a camel ride and enjoy lunch at a restaurant popular with locals. Then visit Jemaa el-Fna, Marrakech Souk, and the Koutoubia Mosque.
Explore Casablanca and Rabat with a private guide on a full-day two of the two cities, where vibrant history meets modern-day Moroccan culture. Enjoy the flexibility of a personal driver/guide throughout the day as you visit Rick’s Café, the Hassan II Mosque, Rabat’s royal landmarks, Chellah, and the Kasbah of the Oudayas, a 12th-century fortress and UNESCO World Heritage Site. This 9-hour tour includes pickup and drop-off at Casablanca accommodations, entrance fees, and all transport by climate-controlled minivan.
I took this day trip from Casablanca to Tangier. Overall the experience was pretty good since the coastline is such a big place. I went in Jan 2020 and it was off season so it was not busy which was the best part. I was picked and driven around in a expensive Mercedes AMG and I was the only person on the tour. He did a good job although it would be nice for some down time alone.. a organized day time makes it difficult. Highly recommended still for the solo traveler.
The only down side as I took the earlier train back to Casablanca the driver for the pick up from the train station was not there and I had to take a taxi back instead at a small cost.
Also beware to carry your ID as they might ask for you it. On the way there they did so I gave my drivers licence... strangely on the way back they never asked for ID. No wifi in the brand new trains unless you go 1st class I guess. That was disappointing.
We booked a day trip to Tangier from Casablanca, we got the train tickets 10 minutes after we were already on the train and we had to buy extra train tickets, we had been calling them all morning and got the tickets after we had to buy our own and already boarded.
The tour guy ( Mohamad) in tangier was excellent, he made the whole trip worth it, a great day.
on the return the Company told him that we had to be on the train station before 6pm since the train back to Casablanca leaves at 6pm, sure enough he left us on the train station at 6:10 pm, after the train already left, so again we had to pay extra to change the train tickets.
Doubt we will be using them again

If you wish, enjoy a Moroccan cooking class before your return to Casablanca.
