We are one of the very few 5 Star Visit Scotland Activity Providers in the Country. And we have the unique ability due to our central location to travel to whatever river looks best for water on the day. No other company offers this service.
Our most popular white water rafting river is the Findhorn (and in our opinion Scotland’s best venue), it is available all year round (River levels permitting).
Rising high in the Monadhliath Mountains, the River Findhorn quickly descends north of Aviemore towards Findhorn Bay on the Moray coast.
White water rafting in Scotland on the River Findhorn is a truly memorable experience, its fast-flowing grade 3 and 4 rapids such as Leven’s Gorge, Dulsie Gorge, and Carnage Corner will have your adrenaline flowing.
Rafting on the River Findhorn is suitable for teen’s and adult groups and is particularly popular with stag and hen parties. The middle section is also suitable for confident children accompanied by adults.
We have the unique ability due to our central location to travel to many different canyons and will select the one that has the best water levels on the day. No other company offers this level of service.
Our canyon of choice is the Allt Na h Uamha, Gaelic (Burn of the big cave) located near Loch Laggan. In fact, this is one of Scotland’s classic Canyoning descents for adrenaline seekers. Given this, it is one of our most popular days out from Aviemore and the surrounding area.
In brief, it is a fantastic experience with water chutes, high-speed slides and flumes with the final challenge to abseil down a 60ft waterfall.
This activity is best suited to adult groups and confident youths. We will transport you to the canyon from Aviemore. Where we will spend the day jumping in, sliding down flumes and chutes as well as abseiling into a waterfall and jumping through it.
If the river levels are too high due to significant rainfall, then we will go to the Bruar or the Truim instead.
Our winter skills days and training courses use the Northern Corries and Cairngorm Plateau. Certainly one of Scotland’s finest, and most accessible high mountain areas. Thus maximizing your learning time with minimal travel. Similarly, other fine areas that we may use are, Creag Meagaidh, Ben Nevis and Glencoe. To sum up, where we go depends on where the best snow conditions are and what is most appropriate.
We have more than twenty years in the industry and are one of the very few Five-Star Visit Scotland Outdoor Activity Providers in the entire country.
Gorge Scrambling is a fantastic activity for individuals, families and groups. If you are not sure what gorge scrambling entails, then the best way to describe it, is a slightly less extreme version of canyoning. The Truim falls (our venue of choice) has features for everyone with jumps from 5-25 ft tall suiting kids and adults alike. There are flumes which we can slide down, sections of swimming and traversing all the while working our way up or down the gorge.
