The tour was well organized and Colin and Luke were a very funny duo. The Brewster bus was very new and comfy.
I was on one of the last tours for the season so Moraine Lake was starting to freeze, Lake Louise was a bit foggy early but then Yoho NP had no snow and we got to see Emerald Lake in all her beauty. The natural bridge in the same area was throwing wonderful colours too. I'm so glad I got to see the Lakes differently (snow vs no snow vs fog). Makes for diverse memories.

We absolutely loved this tour. Rob was a wonderful informative guide who insured everyone had a good time. He was very warm with interesting stories about the area and the park.
A full day of stunning scenery, Rob made sure to plan our arrival at areas of interest ahead of the major crowds so we could have the best experience possible. We also appreciated his willingness to take pictures of everyone on the tour. Do not hesitate to book this tour.
We would like to thank Robbie our tour guide he went above and beyond and was excellent. He was very knowledgeable with the area having grown up around here and took it very easy on the very slippery roads he even had Christmas treats his family baked for us all and nothing was too much trouble.
Thanks again Robbie in a job well done!

Ronnie made the tour. She was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour! We managed to get to Moraine Lake even though this was supposed to be impossible in October. Gave us lovely maple syrup biscuits.
It was amazing! The tour was very informative and both lakes were absolutely beautiful, you get good time to see both places. Neil was great, very friendly, polite and professional. Covered Wagon or Horseback Ride in Banff with Western Cookout
Great family outing!
, Sep 2019
Covered wagon with cook out was excellent! Our entires Our Our family enjoyed the adventure! 18 months to 60 years of age. Our wrangler was fantastic who answered many questions from our grandchildren and family.
we were a family with adult children. My husband and I went on the wagon ride as I have mobility issues. It was very comfitable withfairly easy steps up. Our two sons, 34 and 22, did the horse riding. They were complete beginners. Tuition was given first and they soon felt confident and coped really well. We all met up together at the cookout. Excellent meal was provided - steak, beans , baked potato, salad and fixings. Lots of entertaining information was given in the wagon ride.
I wish I had booked this directly on the website instead of through TripAdvisor- we weren’t able to choose the number of horse riders v wagon riders- then it was a big hassle to try and change it. We weren't able to choose directly with the company- but had to spend ages on the phone with viator to cancel the original booking and change the new one. It ended up being on an hour earlier than the time on the original booking and you’re supposed to be there a half hour before that. Managed it in the end!
We had a two year old with us and hoped I could bring him on the way there and then swap with his dad to horse ride the way back- but the tour wouldn’t allow it which was disappointing. They said they needed to match the horses with height and riding ability...which is fine but we have the same height and riding ability so I dunno... It seemed a bit pedantic.
The tour itself and tour guides were really nice! They were knowledgable and friendly. The food was great and we practiced lassoing :-)

Dominique and Tyler are warm and gracious hosts for your trip to Banff-- much more than tour guides-- they take time with each passenger to understand their itinerary and make helpful suggestions; where to go, what to see etc. Dominique provided great local insights that shaped not only my Hop On Tour, but my trip plan for the next 3 days in the park. Terrific travel professionals. Highly recommended!

We were very happy with this tour. Our guide, Hugh was amazing! He made sure we were well-taken cared off during the entire time. We were served up some nice hot chocolate & cookies while watching the view at Lake Louise. He also made sure we were well-informed and encouraged us to ask any questions about anything concerning Lake Louise. It was well-coordinated from start to finish, from the pick-up at our hotel to the drop-off back from the tour. The day went by so fast as were we just blown away by the beauty of the Canadian Rocky mountains & Lake Louise. I would highly recommend Discovery Tours to our friends.
