This tour did not disappoint us not only because of the sites we visited and enjoyed but because of having an excellent guide. Airy is a very knowledgeable, courteous and polite guide. He was always going out of his way to satisfy each question or concern. He is definitely a standard each guide should be measured.
Great option for the active, for those on a short layover, or as an introduction to Bangkok!

The only reason I give this a 4 star rating instead of 5 is that it felt like we needed a week to cover what we covered in a day! This tour is not for the tired or inactive! My partner had mobility issues, and was utterly exhausted and had to stay in the vehicle toward the end - we were so tired we decided to skip the flower market and go right back to our hotel at the end. But our tour guide Tai was a fearless leader - even in the hordes of New Years visitor we had to wade through at each site. We could never have done it without her and having a private driver. If you are here for a layover and want to see as much as possible in one day, this is truly the way to do it! We hit all the main tourist sites of Bangkok - three main Wats, the Palace, a canal tour, lunch - in a day. I could have easily spent a day at each - particularly as a photographer. Another way this tour can be helpful is to introduce you to the sites you may want to revisit and spend more time on later. We were so thankful to have a private tour - the price is well worth it and in the end the experience far enhanced over a large group tour. We were glad we weren't trying to follow a leader with a stick in the air, but instead had a guide and source of great information there for our needs and interests. Want to see everything in a day? Put on your running shoes, get a good night's sleep, and do the Bangkok marathon and be amazed!
Cannot imaging doing more in a single day. Guide was amazing.

Cannot say enough good things about our private tour with Preecha. He efficiently moved us through the city to see an amazing number of things in a single day. One needs to be prepared to walk a bit, but it is well rewarded. Preecha is very knowledgable and passionate about seeing that we got a good overview. Quick to answer our questions. Broke the day up with a lunch is a small typical Bangkok restaurant. We give our highest recommendation for this tour.

A great tour guide!
, Feb 2020
Everything was well organized and put together. The guide kas very interested and knowledgeable in the topic and had an answer to all our questions. The tour lasted about 1.5 hours over the given time. It was said that drinking water was included, but it wasn't and sitting in a boat during a hot day and not getting any water got a little exhausting.

This tour was wonderful for me. On the day after I arrive in Bangkok, it got me used to alot of things including the travel by boat on the river, where the boat stop is near my hotel etc. So i was then able to travel by boat on my own after the tour, which I really wanted to do. And we saw fabulous things, temples, palaces, various Breathtaking Buddha statues. Lot of good info from tour guide, who also was not at all pushy, not trying to speed things up or push me in the direction of places where i might spend money, clothes, jewellery etc, where the tour guide may get commision. (which I have experienced before). She was happy to go exactly where I wanted to go and it was a happy and relaxed tour for me.
I highly recommend a private guide! I had limited time and Elena was amazing at packing as much in as possible. She was extremely knowledgeable at every location we went. I asked to see some things off the beaten path and she took me to 5 different homes along the river outside of Bangkok that are part of an agri-tourism project and I got to see farms that grow lotus flowers, orchids, fruits, rice, etc. Each home was inviting with food and fresh water to share. I can't wait to return to see more!
Andy was absolutely amazing. We booked this private tour our first full day in Bangkok and am so glad we did. Andy helped orient us to the city and explained a lot of Thai culture and traditions so that we were aware for the rest of our trip. He was all about doing exactly what we wanted but offered advice on things to not miss. We took taxis most places but still were very go-go-go to make the most of the 8 hours we had together. We "temple hopped" with Andy and he was filled with knowledge about each place and was really passionate to share Buddhism knowledge too. My advice would be to go to the grand palace first thing, we went mid day and the crowds were terrible.

Tour of wonderful sites
, Feb 2020
Our tour guide Nick and driver were wonderful. We had a very comfortable car and they made sure we were dropped off/picked up as close to the start and end points of each tour site. Nick was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic throughout the tour. The driver was really nice. We had an early start at 7am in order to time seeing the train arrive at the Train Market. The long-boat ride was a lot of fun zooming through the canals of Bangkok and ending at the floating market. We tasted some unique foods along the way. These took up the action-packed morning. For the quieter afternoon we went for a lunch in Ayutthaya followed by touring the World Heritage Site temple ruins. We made it back to our downtown Bangkok hotel by 730pm. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. If you are sensitive to heat, I'd recommend you split this into 2 half day tours. Its a long day and you will have to content with Bangkok traffic, especially on your return - no way around it. A great tour to see some exceptional Bangkok outer-areas sites and made exceptional by the personalized experienced provide by Nick and the driver. Highly recommend.
A wonderful day trip to the Train Market, Floating Market and Ayutthaya ruins...all fascinating and enjoyable with the extraordinarily friendly, fun and informative Susie guiding us through the highlights. Fun way to discover Bangkok

What a riot we had with Jazz our tour guide. Jazz is a foodie. He totally loves Thai food and was full of enthusiam throughout our tour. Time just flew by as we were having so much fun. He took us to a 5 very different food experiences and challenged our tastebuds with yummy and very different foods. There is no way were would have found these food gems among the vastness of food venues. The highlight for us was the hotpot meal where we got to cook our own food right at our table. Fun! The TukTuk drivers were really good as we were whizzed through the main and back streets seeing the sites, lights and sounds of Bangkok. Bring your appetite !!! Jazz makes sure you are totally stuffed by the time you leave. Jazz was super organized, got us through all the venues and we never felt rushed at all. Kudos to him and his TukTuk team. We had a blast and we highly recommend you either start or finish your visit to Bangkok.
We had an amazing experience with our guide who took care of us from 9am until 5pm and every step of the way. Not only did we learn so much about the history of Thailand and Bangkok, she showed us the beauty of the temples and the history behind them. We also enjoyed learning so much about the monarchy and how it is such an important aspect of Thai culture. The boat ride on the river was perfect and the restaurant for lunch was delicious. 5 star experience all around

Gimao is a fantastic tour guide.
, Feb 2020
Wow. This was our first tour in Thailand and our tour guide, Gimao, was amazing. She met us promptly at the hotel in the morning and didn't waste anytime is showing us the sites, getting there by bus, boat and feet. She shared so much with us and graciously took a whole bunch of pictures on her cell phone that she shared with us before the day was over. THANK YOU for a very special tour. Chris and David
We had such a great tour guide named Siri. She showed and explained everything to us. She even took photos on her phone and sent them to us afterwards, having us do some great and funny poses which looked wonderful. I highly recommend this tour, it was well worth it and always great to have someone knowledgeable explain what you're looking at. A+

Tammy was an excellent guide for my first visit to Bangkok. She met me at the designated time and carefully and clearly guided me throughout our tours throughout Bangkok. The car was clean and new, and the driver also excellent. Highly recommended.
We were picked up from the hotel by our guide Ms. Gift, Were given a list of attractions to choose to visit during the day. Explored a lot in Bangkok, visited museum, temples, walking streets and had boat ride. Learned Thai Culture, History and traditions. A lot of fun ... Definitely Worth It!
, Jan 2020
Amazing tour. It really made our Bangkok trip. You see a lot in one day; so much so we decided to not see last temple. The restaurant we went for lunch was great as well. I liked that it was a private tour. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and spoke English well. I highly recommend the tour!
A local Thai guide introduces you to some of the most captivating sights in Bangkok and beyond on this private, full-day tour. The tour itself was fun. The guide was great and informative. Felt more like hanging out with a friend than a hired tour guide. She even took me to a great place not included in the tour. Everything is at your own pace. Great overall experience
My tour of see the sites and temples in Bangkok was amazing. I got to cover a lot in one day and had a great tour guide who was helpful in answering all the questions I had. I only wish I had more days there would only be the down side but I gave this tour 5 stars and I was extremely happy with the outcome. I recommend Siri as your tour guide. She was awesome and so was this tour. I recommend you get What’s app to link up with your tour guide.
They arrived on time in a clean and modern vehicle. Driver drove sensibly. Tour guide was lovely but English is most definitely a second language. Interesting sights with some insights to history and culture that could of been improved by a better English speaker.

Decent tour. Be aware this includes no admissions or transport. So you need cash with you at all times to pay for your admission to activities and you (& your guides) transfer costs. Wear good shoes for lots of walking. If you didn’t bring clothes that cover your knees and shoulders for the temples, there are places to rent coverings just outside.
Booked this for my parents. Tour was fine, with pick up from their hotel lobby directly. So that’s handy. My parents did not have particular sites in mind so relied on the guide to plan the itinerary. The guide suggested to skip palace as it’s too crowded during Chinese New Year. But did not plan to do floating market in the morning as it’s already closed when they ran out of sites to do in the afternoon. Think the guide should have planned the itinerary better taking into account the opening hours ahead of time. But all in all a good and comfortable way to see Bangkok in a day.
Alit was very good and knowledgeable. She was thorough throughout the process. She even stayed with is to help order our food. With her help and knowledge of local customs, we were fully prepared for our tours, what to wear to the temples, etc. I highly recommend this tour company.

There are over a hundred different Bangkok tours but what sets it apart is the guide. A guide could make or break a tour and I am happy to say ours was outstanding.
Very knowledgeable and friendly, Kat went out of her way to accommodate our needs.
At the end of the day, it felt like she was family showing cousins her city.
All the locations were awesome but we got tired of walking and Kat then took us in a tuk tuk. She even took us souvenir hunting to an awesome location.

A walk through History
, Jan 2020
What an amazing trip out into the ancient capital. The sites of the summer palace, the ancient Wats and the history behind the once capital, now historic preservation site.
Our guide Oh (apologies if I spelled this wrong) was amazing. She took us to the wondrous sites and transported us back through the stories of the grounds we were standing on. As a treat we had lunch at this amazing Thai restaurant where the flavors just dazzled the taste buds. As an added bonus we were introduced to a dessert Roti (we nicknamed it Sugar Hay) and was just amazed.
To anyone wanting to experience a step back into Thailand's ancient roots, this is the tour for you.
A nice day trip from Bangkok. Our guide (called Loi , not sure the spelling) is very nice and she told us clearly about the history of Thailand. Driver is good too and the car is big and clean. We all enjoyed the trip.
Tour was very interesting. We were We were very lucky to have a very good Guide who’s English was excellent.
Places we visited were very nice, especially Summer Palace.
Ayutthaya was also interesting with a lot of history.

Private Damnoen Saduak Floating Market and Train Market Tour
From $122.39 (Price varies by group size )
The attractions were good, but the rude racist guide ruined our day.
, Dec 2019
We booked online with Viator and their local partner Amazing Asia Tours booking ref.: BR-753953946.
When booking online on Viator I saw start time of 8.30 am so I paid for this tour as we wake up late on holidays. Again to double confirm start time our hotel concierge called the local agent's office 2 days in advance and fixed start time at 8.30 am, which was confirmed by the local agent's office.
But our tour guide came at 7.30 and we came down at 8.35 she had an argument with us and was rude with me.
At the train market we asked her to give her phone number in case we got separated, but she refused to give her phone number even after repeated requests. I don't understand how a tour guide can have such a bad attitude. Don't tour company rules require their guides to share her number so that if visitors get separated, they can call the guide to rejoin? But her manager said it was her personal phone and she can decide to share or refuse. But I couldn't see the rationale in such a policy as what would a guide fear from an overseas family (my wife was with me) flying home after 2 days, and we were polite and decent.
Then after finishing from train market, in the vehicle it was very hot and I asked her to increase cooling. She refused saying it will take time to cool and if cooling is increased later it will get cold. I said she should increase cooling now as it is very hot and later she can change temperature back to "medium" from "high". But she refused and quarreled with me. I had to stretch forward and increase AC to high myself.
She was unfriendly and said "you _________ are not nice and want your way"...and this in response to a request to alter air-conditioning as the vehicle was hot. This is clearly a racist remark, and this lady could have got into trouble if she were in the US as racism is a crime. I was shocked that a tour guide could be rude, racist, unfriendly, arrogant, and have a negative attitude with her tourist clients.
Tourism is a service industry, and first principle is to make tourists comfortable and happy.
The tour was good. Our guide took us the the floating market explained how it all started. He also gave us the option to see the elephant and lion sanctuary. We decided to go and took a picture with a tiger. We made it to the train market in time for the train to come thru. The tours were good but we were never given water or a snack through out the tour. When we got lunch, drinks weren't included so we had to by them. Overall we got to see what we wanted to see but we didn't get any of the extra perks, food and snack, we were suppose to get for booking the private tour.
Definitely recommend! Jimmy was an awesome guide and gave us a local's view into the train market and the floating market. He likes durian and it was the first time I tried it (yuck! haha). The pick up and ride in the van was very comfortable. There was good communication with the tour company.
Be a part of Thailand’s lively market scene with a private day trip from Bangkok to two of the country’s most famous shopping spots. Travel in a private vehicle to Ratchaburi province, and take a long-tailed boat through canals to the Damnoen Saduak floating market, where vendors sell colorful fresh goods directly from the water. Then, watch the unusual scene at the Maeklong train market as sellers scoot their wares out of the path of a passing train. Lunch at a riverside restaurant is included.

The grand palace was having a private event so we couldn't gain access- bummer. The guide was GREAT, , apologetic and tried to make it right with recommendations to return the next day. However, I was just bummed by missing one of the biggest attractions there. My rec for the company is to check with the venue the morning of to ensure people who traveled thousands of miles can actually gain access.
excellent tour of the city's main sites and features. Our guide, Jip, met us right on time at our hotel lobby. After asking us what we wanted to do, she set up a plan to try to include all the sites I wanted to see. She even suggested a private boat ride through the small canals of Bangkok so that we could see another facet of the city most tourist don't get to see. Jip was very knowledgeable about the history of Thailand and the numerous sites. Even took us to a small local restaurant for the best Pad Thai I ever had. We started with a visit to the Golden Buddha..passing Chinatown on the way there. Then we saw the emerald Buddha and the Grand Palace and ended the tour with the Reclining Buddha. Along the way, we were able to use taxis, tuk-tuk, and local boats for transportation. She also gave us great suggestions for shopping and other areas of interest.
Customize your sightseeing itinerary in Bangkok with options for a half- or full-day tour by public or private transportation. Popular destinations include Chinatown, The Grand Palace, and Wat Arun on the Chao Phraya River, or you can venture out to attractions such as Damnoen Saduak Floating Market or Chatuchak Weekend Market. With your own private guide you can easily plan a day suited to your interests.
The sights were great and transportation was very prompt. Guide was very nice. Lunch at buffet was good. The only thing is I wish guide's English was a bit better as she didn't really understand questions that we would ask to be able to explain.
Skip the crowded tour buses and explore the historic Thai city of Ayutthaya at your own pace on this private guided tour from Bangkok. Our service is a self-guided tour so you can travel at your own pace. No random trips, all of our tuk tuks are equipped with a GPS tracking device, which can ensure your safety during the trip.
Bangkok traffic is so horrific that you see approximately four hours worth of "stuff" and six hours worth of driving.
The museum and train ride are very interesting. Our tour guide's command of English was not great, so he was not all that helpful in explaining things or offering history (fortunately we knew the history), but it was nice to have someone lead the way for us. He was kind enough to make sure my lunch was gluten-free, as requested. So, yes, worth doing, but be prepared and bring a book to read during the traffic jams.
