This tour excellently showcases the stark differences between each of Barbados’s coasts. Beginning on the island’s North-East coastline at a little-known inlet aptly named Little Bay, your hike takes you further along the coast into the parish of St. Peter, along trails traversed only by local fishermen. We arrive at a unique spot known as Pico Teneriffe, a conical hill rising almost straight out of the sea. Here, we pick up our eBikes, and continue through the sleepy village of Boscobel, up Centipede Alley, summiting Cherry Tree Hill, where we’ll be rewarded with stunning views of the East Coast. Giving the hills a rest for the time being, we descend through an ancient mahogany grove with St Nicholas Abbey at our flank and into the cane field tracks surrounding the World-famous Mount Gay Distillery. This tour is both challenging and rewarding in every sense. There is truly no better way to experience our most northern parishes.

This tour begins at the iconic St John’s Parish Church, a classic 1640 Gothic style Anglican Church with panoramic views of the East Coast. We take you along Hackleton’s Cliff escarpment, an impressive geological feature encasing the entire Scotland District. We then ride through the environmentally friendly, bio-dynamic PEG Farm, eventually summiting Chimborazo, in St. Joseph, one of the highest points on the island. Now we descend into the primaeval forest of Braggs Hill, to Paris Hill, where the locals have uniquely painted murals into the limestone “cut rock”. Next is a quick pedal past an abandoned sugar factory to the Grand Coconut Stand, a line of a hundred coconut trees under which a magical single track lies begging to be ridden, this only to be seconded by what comes next: The fast grassy downhill at Redland on the way to the casuarina tree-lined trails and country back roads for post-ride refreshments.

This South Coast tour begins at one of the Worlds’ best kite surfing beaches, Silver Rock Beach, which can have as many as fifty kites out, competing for wind & wave action during the winter season – either way a beautiful any time of year. Once riding, we head eastward up the coastline, taking in picturesque cliffside views and local “salt-life” all the way out to the secluded Long Beach; the longest beach on the island. This being a well-known turtle nesting sanctuary and a fantastic picture opportunity. We eventually reach Barracuda Bay by way of the Paragon Cliffs, where nearshore barracuda are often spotted. Viewscapes looking back to Long Beach from this location are also incredible Making the turn, it’s back to base for well-earned beverages via village paths & trails as well as the Chancery Lane wetlands; home to migratory birds. Hands down, there’s no better way to experience the South Coast of Barbados.

This tour starts with a hike from Martin’s Bay, St. John, a small fishing village situated on the Atlantic side of the island. Along the hiking route, we take in Three Boys Rock, Glenburnie, and Tent Bay on our trek toward our final destination in Bathsheba, St. Joseph. Here we pick up the eBikes and ride across the newly constructed wooden bridge that spans Joe’s River. Then we ride along the East Coast Road that runs parallel to the Atlantic Ocean and links Cattlewash to Belleplaine – ocean on one side beautifully juxtaposed with hills on the other. Now we start our ascent of Chalky Mount, a unique grouping of clay and sandstone hills. The summit is home to the Chalky Mount Rum Shop, which arguably serves up the coldest beers on the island & a great spot to catch our breath & maybe a cold one if that's your thing. Then we turn for home via The Saddle Back with cascading views on either side as we drop into Bathsheba; our original start point.
