Had a great tour with Stru. He was fun and knowledgeable and had a focus on safety as we cycled around the busy streets. We've been to Barcelona several times and found this one of the best tours we've taken. Thank you Stru!
Experience the architectural and artistic majesty of Barcelona on a half-day bike tour of the city. Energize and enjoy yourself on this exciting excursion with a knowledgeable and experienced guide; see all of the city’s significant sights such as the La Catedral and Placa del Rei as you gently cycle between magnificent monuments. Capture fabulous photographs at each stop and gain insight into the city’s fascinating history with informative commentary. A moderate level of fitness is not required on this tour due to the gentle nature of the route.
We really enjoyed our guide. She had a real passion for Barcelona and the history and architecture. We learned a lot and enjoyed the challenge of cycling through the city. The activity didn't exactly match the description in Viator's ad that said we would enjoy the e-bikes because of the hills and panoramic views. There were no hills or panoramic views. We remained in the city at sea level, but it was still wonderful. Viator needs to change the description.
Ebikes are very easy, and really fun. We could do distances and elevations that would be a challenge on bikes. For this extensive introduction to Barcelona, they were perfect. Great itinerary! Olga, our fun Russian guide did a great job presenting Barcelona to us. It didn’t start out as a private trip, we simply got lucky. Highly recommend this trip.
Discover Barcelona’s five most interesting neighborhoods the easy and eco-friendly way on this private electric bike tour. Cycle along beach boulevards and dedicated bike paths to explore the diverse Gràcia, Raval, Gòtic, Eixample, and Barceloneta districts, and effortlessly climb the surrounding hillsides for panoramic city and sea views. This private tour can be customized to suit your interests and is a great introduction for first-time visitors.
OUR guide led us through the old historical Barcelona after an intelligent presentation. Our group was great and we managed to see the main attractions in an active way compared to the usual passive visits
We did the Gaudi bike tour and were very pleased with the guide, Jules, as well as the bikes (not fully electric) but we didn't go by all the Gaudi buildings we expected (only 4 Gaudi buildings). There were some non-Gaudi stops that were interesting but we were expecting more Gaudi-specific stops. Would recommend the tour company focus more on the Gaudi buildings for the Gaudi tour.
Glide around Barcelona’s most alluring attractions on an electric bike tour led by a knowledgeable guide. Enjoy the ease of riding a smooth and speedy electric bike as your guide takes you to legendary landmarks such as La Sagrada Familia. Select from two different itineraries according to your interests, and gain fascinating insights into the culture of Catalonia’s vibrant capital. Enjoy an intimate atmosphere and personalized attention on this small-group tour, where the number of participants is limited.
This was seriously the best way to see the most of Barcelona in a day. We were able to bike to the top of the mountain, down to the ocean and see so many amazing sites. Marco was the most amazing tour guide and especially patient with our group of 8. Two of us didn't go due to a mother/daughter where the mother didn't want to go at the last minute. There is definitely some strength required to do this tour. Would not recommend someone who is not in some kind of decent shape to attend. Although the bikes are electric, there is several miles of cycling on the all day tour. Would do it again in a heartbeat.
See all of Barcelona’s legendary landmarks on a half-day electric bike tour of the city. Explore the captivating Catalonian capital at a leisurely pace on your state-of-the-art electric bicycle. Cycle around the iconic Olympic Stadium, gaze at panoramic vistas of the city from a cable car, and then sail the sea in an eco-friendly catamaran on a short cruise. The entire experience was above and beyond what we could have imagined — we adored our tour guide, Julia! She was very knowledgeable, very careful to ensure our safety, enthusiast and taught with passion — we were delighted and recommend this tour to anyone able to ride a bike — and the eBikes were great 👍
Great tour! Skip the one helped to avoid likes up! Great inside tour with guide!
Special thank you to ebike tour guide Agata! She made sure everyone is happy and answered all our questions! Was patient and waited for those who sometimes got behind!! Highly recommended!

Riding and discovering Barcelona on bikes was a lot of fun once you got the hang of navigating through all the pedestrians and traffic! Paula, our guide was funny and engaging while sharing the history of the city with us. Really enjoyed seeing the Arc de Triomphe, the Barcelona Zoo and riding by the ocean. What a wonderful way to see the city !!

This was a unique way to spend a couple of hours.Barcelona is set up for biking. Our group consisted of 1 senior, 2 adults and 4 children (2 teens, 2 younger). Even the senior in our group was capable of handling this bicycle tour and I say that only because the senior in our group is not in peak physical condition and he has walking/knee issues so this tour was a risky move but he was perfectly fine. The biggest problem was the walk to the bike shop. Unfortunately the meeting location and the bike shop were quite far away from each other. It would have been a better idea to have people meet at the bike shop then arrangements could have been made for a taxi directly to the bike shop. if we had known how far a walk it was from the meeting location to the bike shop, for the sake of the person in our group with the walking/knee issues, we probably would not have booked it for him. On the walk over, one of us remained with this individual while the others hustled ahead. The guide was moving at a very quick pace which, for the rest of us, would have been perfectly fine. Once settled on the bikes, the tour guide was very informative and the bike ride very level. The bikes are not state of the art, brand new tour bikes so be prepared to go retro and check your bike before you leave on tour. During the bike ride there were a couple of minor hills that everyone could handle. It was a nice way to tour. One member of the larger tour group ended up with a flat tire. The guide was quick to give them her bike and rent one from the city ride sharing rentals along the route. However, if anyone else blew a tire or had a flat, I'm not sure how it would have been addressed as only 1 rental is allowed by a single person at a time so the guide could not have rented another bike along the route. We saw some great sights, toured along the ocean, travelled down nice streets all in bicycle lanes. Barcelona has done a great job setting the city up for bicycle travel. It was very hot and by the end of the tour our senior was done so lots of sun hats, sun screen sunglasses and water everyone! General district tour Suitable for all ages (our youngest was 7 our oldest was 73).
The bike tour was ok. Not terrible and not great. The weather was nice and we enjoyed being outside and getting the ‘lay of the land’. But the guide didn’t really share much in the way of history. We walked through the Born neighborhood on the way to the bike shop (not sure why we didn’t meet at the bike shop), and there wasn’t any context given about Born. As the tour continues there were little antidotes shared, but not much information. Also the bikes were old and no helmets were offered or recommended, which seemed odd. To be clear, the bikes worked fine but they appeared old and worn. Also, the guide was quite pleasant. Just not a lot of substance.

Alex our tour guide gave a brilliant history tour that made the Gothic Quarter come alive. So much history would have been missed if we just wandered ourselves. I feel that by end of tour, we had a much better understanding of the history and culture of the area. Alex was a very pleasant, enthusiastic and caring tour guide. Would highly recommend this tour and cost seems very reasonable

This tour was very informative and Clara was a great guide. She added humor to the tour and knowledgable. Learned a lot about Gaudi and his influence on the Catalan people and how the church has shaped the Barcelona city.

We had a very knowledgeable guide and with a small group, it was an excellent experience. Marc had a good command of English, answered our questions, and provided a lot of information of Gaudí and the history of the basilica.

Montserrat Monastery Visit & Natural Park Hiking with Railway from Barcelona
Montserrat is a must
, Jan 2020
Montserrat is a definite must when visiting Barcelona -- it's really a very cool experience. That being said, the funicular was not running due to maintenance when we visited so the "soft hike" that was promised as part of this tour ended up being a straight uphill climb via stairs that was much more rigorous than expected and others on the tour had to sit out or turn around. Additionally, because we went on a Sunday, the boys choir was not there. Roger was an interesting guide who shared historical background about the monastery and mountains and we appreciated the free time to walk around and take photos and we liked that the group size was kept small.
We had a fantastic trip to Montserrat with our guide, Oriol. He was very knowledgeable and patient with our questions. We were travelling with a 12yo and he made the trip engaging for all of us. It was a great experience. 5* all the way

Very good tour

I was alone on this tour so I feel like I got the private treatment.... Nuria was great. She was very accommodating and knowledgeable. I enjoyed this tour a lot and would recommend it to first time visitors to Barcelona.
Barcelona is an amazing city and this tour really shows off some of the best the city has to offer. Our guide Patricia was great and as promised this was a small group so we had lots of her attention and time to connect and share stories. A few of the things we did and learned about wouldn't have been possible without our guide. We even followed up on a few of her suggestions after the tour ended. I would recommend this tour to others.

Alex was a wonderful tour guide. Very personable and knowledgeable about all of the tapas and drinks that were included on the tour. Highly recommend this tour the first day you are in Barcelona as she brought us to places I would have never known about. We were able to return to a few of the restaurants during our trip. Everything was delicious.
This is a must when visiting Barcelona! Our guide Francesc was awesome! We got a great understanding of the history behind each little neighborhood we stopped in for tapas. I highly recommend this tour.

Sergio was knowledgeable and friendly. He was genuinely interested in showing us Barcelona. The tour sites were amazing. Being able to skip the lines allowed me to do more sightseeing. There were only 6 people on our tour. Sergio drove us around the city for a private tour.

Barcelona and Sagrada Familia Small Group Half Day Tour with Hotel Pick-up

We went on a city tour with our guide Vincente. Together with a first class driver he showed us the most important sights of the city, informed us about the history and gave us practical tips. His english was excellent and his knowledge was beyond all expectations. We felt very safe being led through the city and weren’t bored for a minute thanks to Vincentes incredible talent in bringing the city to life.
Karles did a good job with our tour under difficult circumstances. Our tour was scheduled the morning that the judge issued sentences for the protest leaders. It made getting around more difficult, but also in some ways made the tour more interesting. Karles our tour guide was very heavily invested in the cause of the protesters, so while providing us information about Barcelona he also gave some political context. Also as a result of the protests, it seemed like it might be impossible to get us out to Sagrada Familia, but Karles managed to find a way. Once there he said it would be impossible for him to get us back, but he took us into the metro and made sure we got our tickets and were able to find our way back to the cruise ship. Barcelona is a lovely city and we thoroughly enjoyed our tour and would recommend this tour.
Gaudi’s magnificent La Sagrada Familia cathedral is one of Barcelona’s most visited attractions and this tour saves you potentially hours of time with skip-the-line tickets. Also on this tour, enjoy a walking tour of Barcelona’s Old Town and Gothic Quarter; admire Modernist architecture including Casa Batlló, Hospital de Sant Pau, and Casa Lleó; and take in the views from Montjuïc Mountain.
Nice show of lights and graphic slides that are reflected off of the chimmey's of the apartments.
, Sep 2019
Really nice display of furniture, the architecture as beautiful on the walls of the building. The light show as good, but they do have a free light show in the city during summer months that we missed, so we did the 10;20 show. The sound system needs to be improved to more of a base. It was difficult to understand the guide. Some walking involved and the little treats at the end, my husband liked. But they do have a restaurant that is attached and also a beautiful gift shop to browse. But over all a nice treat to see the night lights of Barcelona and have all the graphics set to music.
The night tour was good, nothing too amusing. The light shows and view at night were definately the highlight and also learning about the history behind La Pedrera. Not sure if the price is good though, I did feel it was expensive for what it was.
Feast your senses on the multi-sensory magnificence of a multimedia event within Gaudi’s La Pedrera. Immerse yourself in the unique majesty of an experience known as the 'La Pedrera Night Experience' and meander through the iconic landmark until you reach the rooftop, upon which a mesmerizing display of projections transform the architectural features into surreal and spectacular objects. Conclude your hypnotic evening with a chilled glass of cava as you admire the glittering lights of the city by night.
