Wildcard

Cider House Rules Cider etiquette can be confusing at first, especially if you don’t happen to speak Basque. Upon entry into the often cavernous spaces of the cider houses, you will be led to a long communal table and given a glass and usually a plate of spicy chorizo. When a man will a bucket yells out, txotx! (pronounced, “Choach!”) follow him to one of the barrels and get in line. When it’s your time, hold your glass at just the right angle to catch the stream of cider shooting towards you. Don’t fill it all the way, and move to the next barrel and repeat.
