Alex was a wonderful host and provided a very unique experience for the group. He was knowledgeable and entertaining and we all had more than enough to eat! I was impressed with his ability to "herd the cats" and keep the group together. We have the opportunity to try German cuisine as well as some ethnic food with regional roots. One of the highlights of the tour was the street art that Alex showed us. It was a great time and I highly recommend this tour for fellow foodies!

I highly recommend this Berlin "Classic Bites and Culinary Trends" tour. Our guide Holger was outstanding! He is a naive of West Berlin, so you know that you will be getting the real scoop. I didn't realize how much influence Berlin had from other cultures. In addition to the amazing food --- Holger shared a ton of knowledge on Berlin's history. We pretty much got a '2 for 1' special.
Unfortunately, we were misinformed for this tour. It was good to see this part of town and get a feel for the culture, but the tour was advertised as being wheelchair and stroller friendly. My extended family therefore specifically chose this tour as my father is in a wheelchair and we had two young children in strollers. The strollers did okay for the most part, but if my husband wasn't there to push the wheelchair and navigate the uneven terrain, my father would definitely not have been able to participate in the tour. I recommend updating your additional information to note that this is not a wheelchair accessible tour because it is indeed not. Two other groups were on our tour, and I hope we did not inconvenience them too much with this misleading information as it substantially slowed down the group.
