A luxury car and your English speaking Bhutanese guide will pick you up from your hotel at around 8 - 8:30 in the morning and you will drive for a few minutes across the Paro Valley till you reach the base of the mountain. Taktsang Monastery is about three hours climb uphill from the base and if you are not up to the hike then we there will be riding ponies already arranged. Tea and snacks will be arranged at a cafeteria mid way. Visit the various temples housing very sacred statues and relics as your guide explains the significance of it all. It is believed that a visit to a scared Monastery will cleanse you of your sins and will bless you for a happy, peaceful and productive life.
