Blue Mountains Private Tour | Fully Inclusive of Scenic World and Featherdale
Blue Mountain Private Tour
, Dec 2019
My wife and I booked the Blue Mountains Luxury Private Tour with Scott. Thoroughly enjoyed our time with Scott. Extremely knowledgeable of the region and easily shares his experiences. Everything is inclusive in the price of the tour, including all entry tickets to the various attractions, plus lunch. And best of all is you won't have to wait behind the bus tours to gain entry, Scott will whisk you right to the front. If you want to learn more in a single day versus riding in the bus and listening to the tour guide talk to 40 people, book with Scott. It's like spending the day with family. His vehicle was very comfortable and sight-lines were excellent. The Australian bush fires were active in the mountains during our tour, but we still enjoyed the limited views. The trip to Featherdale was fantastic, we got to play with and feed the Kangaroos and pet a Koala. We finished with a city tour. Highly recommend this tour.
Julia and Scott went above and beyond in providing us with an excellent tour of the Blue Mountains. We accidentally booked the wrong date and they moved their entire schedules around to accommodate us on the same day. Julia escorted us and we were able to play with wild cockatoos, do all the tours, had a great local lunch and finished the day with a tour of the absolutely charming Featherdale sanctuary. Throughout the tour, Julia showed us her Australia full of trivia and history. We left with memories of the special day all because they turned a potential disaster into a success. We would use them again for any of their tours around Australia.
Experience the beauty and history of the Blue Mountains on this private full-day tour. Start with a cable car journey for views of the Jamison Valley and then see the Three Sisters rock formation. Visit Scenic World and ride the ‘world’s steepest railway’, and stop for lunch in the picturesque town of Leura (own expense). Next you’ll experience a traditional Aboriginal dance performance, and feed a Kangaroo if you choose. This tour is ideal for visitors who want to get out of the city learn about Australian culture and history.
First of all our original booking was for a morning trip with a different operator and due to several circumstances on their end we were left stranded but Viator did immediately refund our payment. This left us half-way around the world with nothing to do. Tour operators in the Sydney area told us it was too late to go to the Blue Mountains area as all the tours leave in the morning. Then we found this tour on Viator. Perfect! We had a great time and saw so many beautiful scenic landscapes. The guides, Donna and Kelly were not only very knowledge and fun they did a great job adjusting the schedule ad-hoc as was needed do to the bush fires in the area. Our tour ended up being the last ones to this area for at least a week as fires forced the parks to close yet Kelly and Donna both did an amazing job and adjusting on the fly and making the day one to remember. Highly recommend this tour especially if you have a morning commitment or simply don't like to get up too early. The provided lunch as was great and they also did a great job of professionally dealing with a few who seemed to complain about everything and not understand the magnitude and strain the fast-spreading fires were putting on our tour guides.
Nature lovers—this is the tour for you! Swap the hustle and bustle of Sydney for a day exploring the natural beauty outside the city. Avoid spending time stuck in traffic by going on a tour designed to miss peak hour traffic jams. A guided bushwalk is included, so you won’t have to worry about studying a map. See Wentworth Falls, and the Three Sisters rock formation. A highlight is an incredible sunset over the Blue Mountains—the ideal photo opportunity.
Our guide was one of the best guide I ever had. He was knowledgeable, always made sure they we take care of and wanted us to have a great time which we did. Plus he would go out of way to make sure we enjoy every moment. For an example, One of are party wanted to retake the railroad up and down the hill again he let her after asking us do we mind. I wish I did it with her. Rain forest was outstanding because our guide answered all of our questions,
I was visiting Sydney of my own before meeting my husband Mike in Freemantle so I only had few days and the Blue Mountain tour ultimate was a great option for me to see the outside of the city. Adventure, fun, educational, cultural, good food was all included in the package. Menashe was great and made sure all of us had I great time. Thank you Menashe!

Offered a refund due to poor weather conditions!

Trent messaged me before my tour to let me know it was going to be very rainy, and even offered to cancel and refund my trip! I very much appreciated his responsiveness, and honesty to make sure he provided the experience I expected. He even referred me to a competitor in case my availability lined up with their schedule for a makeup day! Best service!

Trekking was amazing, really beautiful route, a bit tough though.
BBQ was good, simple meat and salad.
Tourguide and driver Elliott had lots of good information, and was a pretty good driver.

Blue Mountains Empress Canyon Adventure from Wentworth Falls
, Jan 2020
The entire experience was amazing! Our 10 and 13 year old were just old enough to fully enjoy the trip down the canyon. It started with a downhill walk to the base of the canyon, then we put on wetsuits and started walking through the very cold and slippery river, feeling like we were true explorers. Shortly into the walk we had our first jump into a pool, which was certainly invigorating! The jumps weren’t just for fun - they were truly the only way to get through the canyon so we had no choice but to face our fears and go for it! By the time we reached the 90 foot abseil at the end, we were so used to conquering our fears that a 30 meter drop with the waterfall hitting your face and your body bumping against the rock wall somehow seemed like a perfectly normal experience! Our guide Ken was fantastic- supportive, encouraging and with incredible knowledge of the Blue Mountains and environment.

This gives people the unique experience of polishing genuine Australian opal. There is nowhere else where you can polish opals and it is very likely that the opal you leave with will be worth more than the money you spent on this workshop. In fact, potentially you could polish an opal that is worth hundreds of dollars as it is impossible to see what an opal will look like before it's been polished, so it is truly the luck of the draw. But we give you the information to help you make an informed choice of the parcel of opals you choose. Opal is becoming increasingly valuable with all opal rough being snapped up and it's not going to get better in future as some opal fields are being closed down. This truly is the opportunity of a lifetime.

Enjoy sunrise from an amazing viewpoint, with all-encompassing view of Jamison Valley, Mount Solitary and Wentworth Falls escarpment.
No matter the weather this is an impressive location to start your day. As you watch the sunrise the cliff start to glow and the birds start singing.
Care must be taken as the viewpoint has no barrier fence at the cliffs edge - which is part of the drawcard. It is possible to get an impressive optical-illusion photo of you which makes it appear as though you’re sitting literally on the edge of a cliff. In truth you are, except that there’s a fairly safe ledge just below that would stop you from falling very far. But people who see your photo won’t know that – they’ll just think you like to live on the edge .
We then move to Wentworth Falls lake for hot coffee or tea as we enjoying the view, watch ducks and sunrise. It is also a good spot to go for a short walk as it has a bush track and you can hear and see many birds.
