This was a great tour... and great guides. I loved that it was open air... providing much better views than through bus windows! I was mostly interested in seeing the southern part of the island (salt flats, slave huts)... but the northern part was beautiful and happy I saw it! 1,000 steps stop was awesome, as was going through the national park and seeing a few flamingos. It's definitely a quick overview... just a taste of what to go back and really explore.
We thoroughly enjoyed our excursion with our guide, Norman. We were a group of 6. Norman was extremely knowledgeable about Bonaire and had an answer to every question we asked him. I would highly recommend this excursion.
Michael gave a fabulous tour. He was professional, knowledgeable, considerate, and friendly. Traveling in a mini-bus, our group of six was able to see and experience the many dimensions of the island in less than four hours. Overall, an excellent experience. Would highly recommend.
When your cruise ship docks in Bonaire's port, spend your time exploring both the north and south sides of the island on this 3-hour sightseeing tour. Take in the varied colors of the salt flats and learn the history behind the island's slave huts. Visit 1,000 Steps to see the native sea turtles and Goto Lake for views of the spectacular pink flamingos. Round-trip transportation from the cruise port is included.
I have been snorkeling all over the Caribbean and Bonaire is hands the best. Our trip on Mushi Mushi was incredible. The Captain and guide treated and feed us like royalty.. They cooked us a 4 course meal featuring surf and turf. We are visiting Bonaire again Jan 2021 will be snorkeling with them again for sure.
Thanks for the great time
Michael & Bobbie Wells
Crew was very good and lunch was excellent. One issue, they recommended that we didn't need fines. Current was strong and was difficult to get back to the boat. Several people had to have help coming back
We had a great time on the catamaran and the snorkeling was amazing! The crew was great and informative. They took care of all of our needs including a beautiful lunch and drinks were served. There was only 14 of us compared to 32 people like someone we spoke to from our cruise said they had on their boat.Would go again when we travel to Bonaire!

What a blast! Whether you know how to sail or not, you will pick up on how to do this after a couple laps. We had the track to ourselves so got competitive which added to our fun. Donna and her staff were so friendly and helpful. BTW - we are active seniors (72 & 74) so don't let your age keep you from giving it a try.
We had our group of six adults with another family of four in our timeslot. Donna gave us instructions and then we were off to the races! Just kidding. My point is that we all had a great time and would readily do this again given the opportunity. My only complaint would be that some people didn't follow Donna's rule about keeping to one lane of the track making it difficult for other people to go around them. Overall, outstanding adventure and a Bonaire "DON'T MISS!""
Donna picked us up right on time. She is very warm, welcoming and enthusiastic to share her passion for life and adventure. Donna was very thorough and took her time explaining how landsailing worked. My mother was very hesitant as this was out of her comfort zone, but she had a ton of fun. Would definitely recommend this unique and exhilarating experience for all ages.
This is unique! Chances are you've never been landsailing. That's okay. No experience necessary. Bonaire has the perfect conditions and we have the ideal location. Sailing a blokart is super easy to learn. We'll give you a 10 minute lesson to ensure you have the most fun during your time on the track. This activity is for everyone because you control the speed. So, those wishing to take it easy and enjoy a leisurely, wind-powered sail can do so, and those wanting a full dose of adrenaline will also enjoy themselves. We have two shadow (double) blokarts available so small children or elderly parents can ride in the "side car". No excuses for not participating as we recently had a 91 year old lady experience landsailing at our track. Join us for the most fun you will have on 3 wheels!
The meeting place was easy to find !!
The transportation to the boat was unique !!
The sailboat was nice & clean!!
The skipper & crew were very friendly knocked themselves out for your every need!!
The snorkel equipment was good and the dive was was nice, albeit, a bit longer than anticipated.
The best was the cold beer and cheese sandwich after the dive & the sail home !!
A great crew Capt. Phil, Daphne and Marcel - a half a day on the water , anchored at a reef. Snorkel line was put out - Daphne led us And Marcel followed at the back of the pack. We saw all kinds of great sea life among the reef- a few new things, a small sea turtle . Great ride back with fresh Brie sandwiches, and home made tuna. Carib beer , rum punch - truly a day to remember. Thanks so much !
Designed for cruise ship passengers with limited time, this sailing tour includes snorkeling instruction and gear, snacks and drinks. Everything was great till the phone went overboard
, Jan 2020
We left our cruise ship and walked down the pier where we found the tent very easily. Eddie drove out to the mangroves giving us plenty of information about the island flora, fauna and history.
The two person kayaks were all in good shape and we could actually see quite well. The black mangroves were as expected with tunnels and clear water. All went well till one of our girls list her phone over the side.
Eddie and crew were very helpful in helping us look and keeping the other guests entertained. Unfortunately we did not find the phone, but in spite of it had a wonderful time.
Not too strenuous, the jellyfish were a beautiful surprise. Recommend for families with kids over 10.
We opted to do this tour as our last adventure on the island after a week of diving. Eddie was informative, interesting and made an effort to find out what we were interested in - then made an effort to deliver it. The pace was as quick - or slow - as you wanted, and the mangroves were amazing. Seeing a baby Barracuda in the mangrove roots and all the upside down Jellyfish was very cool!. And you can't beat finishing with a cool beverage under a palm tree in an island fishing village. Thanks Eddy!
This is essentially a guided 90-minute kayaking tour through a lovely mangrove, with only a ten-minute stop within the mangrove for some snorkeling (and no tropical fish to be seen anywhere!) The guide, however, was well-informed and friendly, and the tour unfolded in an unhurried manner. The drive to the "lake" , along a heavily pot-holed dirt road, took almost as long as the tour.
Our mangrove glass bottom kayak & snorkel tour begins at the lovely beach from Lac Cai. The Bonaire Mangrove reserve is located in Lac Bay National Park. Visitors can only enter the mangroves in the company of an experienced nature guide. Your stable, glass bottom sit-on-top kayak is equipped with a comfortable backrest seat, a waterproof bag for your personal belongings and, of course, paddles. Off you go, into the calm waters.
The glass bottom kayak provides an ideal mode of transport in this beautiful and tranquil environment, as you manoeuvre with ease through the mangrove shallows and tunnels.
Gliding by four different species of mangrove trees in crystal-clear waters, paddling past bird habitats and fish spawning areas, you'll learn of the relationship between the plants and the animals. The snorkel location offers a great variety of marine life and is considered by many a must-do while visiting Bonaire!
Join us for our daily Land & Sea snorkel combo tour.
You will explore the south of Bonaire and see the solar salt flats, Salt Pier as well as the historic slave huts dating back to 1850.
Flamingos and Donkeys are frequently seen as we drive southbound.
Your guide is a Bonaire tourism trained guide as well as a PADI professional in-water guide.
The snorkel portion of the tour will be from the beach and in our Marine Park area which runs along our West coast. Your guide will take care to ensure that your safety comes first while snorkeling.
**Tours require a minimum of 2 persons booked to operate this tour.
Efrem and Mandy gave our family of 10 an awesome tour of Bonaire.
After you will want to move to Bonaire
The stories Efram shared were full of history and love of his home.
Mandy is an amazing host who cares deeply for her new home.
Thank you for a fantastic day.
I had a lovely guided tour of north and south Bonaire. My guides were very knowledgeable and experienced. It was also nice as there was a photographer along from Curacao. The salt mines was very interesting and a great photo. I was glad to hear the information on the history of slavery. The south region was so picturesque. It is a beautiful island. We stopped for a snack in a really cute cafe and I tried some Dutch treats. I felt privileged to have this solo tour. Much nicer than being with a large tour group
See the highlights of Bonaire on a half-day, small group tour. If you look at the itinerary you will see the start till we reach 1000 step (Don’t worry, it’s actually only 74 steps.) Then it‘s on to the Flamingo Sanctuary, Salt Pier, and finally, the slave huts to view the living quarters of workers forced to labor in the nearby salt mines during the 1800s.
This tour is unique because this is a private tour for you and your family alone. You will be with a local and you will be getting a local experience including drinks and a small local taste.
This tour is not a ordinary tour like the others on the Island.
This tour is not just a tour just to show you around but you will be very personal with your guide and experience the local culture and history.
You will be able to customise this tour as you want.
This is a very private personnel tours.
At the end of the tour you will get a very nice free souvenir from us and its a local product you will be using almost every single day.
Met with Daniel, the tour leader at port with ease. After a quick van ride we got on a speed boat and enjoyed a relaxing boat ride to our snorkel sites. We were guided in the water by a capable and enthusiastic gal named Anuk. We saw a great amount of fish and my husband even saw a turtle. We had ample time to snorkel at both locations. We would do this excursion again.
This tour was excellent and our favorite of 5 cruise ports. We were met right at the pier and our guide was super friendly. We had a ride in a very nice air conditioned shuttle to the harbor. Small boat with only about 10 people on trip. The other guide Anuk guided us all to the best snorkeling ever. Literally unbelievable. Bonaire is a dream. Note that the ladder to get back up on the boat is really small and it was a little hard for me and others to get back on but the guides assisted so it was not a problem. We would definitely book with Aqua Fun again.
Daniel was there to great us right at the port and escorted us to a taxi to take us to the marina. (As opposed to us having to provide our own transportation (which would have been easy but we still appreciated the extra effort). We loved that the tour was limited to only ten people. My husband I were impressed with the quality of the snorkelling equipment and also that Daniel took the time to tell us about what to look for. Anuk (I probably did not spell that correctly) was lovely, guided us in the water, as did Daniel - another plus. They provided us with plenty of ice cold drinks, water and a snack. We are seasoned snorkelers who have snorkeled in the Caribbean, Pacific and Indian oceans. The snorkelling was great and we highly recommend.
Explore the beautiful reefs of Bonaire on a 3-hour snorkeling adventure from Kralendijk. Sail across the crystal clear waters and snorkel in two different spots to observe the local marine life. Bonaire National Marine Park is home to over 340 species of tropical fish and a number of different seagrasses and mangroves. Enjoy unlimited soft drinks, juice, and snacks in between your snorkel sites.
Bonaire Shore Excursion: The Bonaire Highlights Tour
Don’t ask questions, “It’s on the tour”
, Feb 2020
The tour itself was good. We enjoyed seeing the salt flats, slave huts, and island itself. However, although our guide knew a lot, she did NOT allow ANY questions. Whenever anyone tried to ask a question, she would say, “It’s on the tour. Relax and enjoy the tour.” That is the FIRST time we’ve ever experienced that on a tour. We understand that a guide has information to share, but a guide should also be willing to have guests ask questions.
A mix of history, culture, and natural beauty, this half-day tour offers a good overview of Bonaire and is ideal for first-time visitors. Highlights include Goto Lake, a saltwater lagoon where pink flamingos nest, and Seru Largu, a large hill in the capital city that offers expansive views of the surrounding sea. Visit small villages, a national park, a salt factory, and more.
Embark on a kayak and snorkeling adventure through the RAMSAR-protected mangrove forests of Bonaire. This small-group tour puts a strong focus on protecting the fragile ecosystem through education. Enjoy a relaxing day of kayaking and snorkeling through the pristine waters, stop for a light snack at a local beach, and keep your eye out for local wildlife such as sea turtles, flamingoes, and pelicans.
Nice guides and snacks. Snorkel gear needs updating, add fins and replace noodles, they are falling apart. And consider dropping snorkelers off on the way to anchoring the boat, that way we don’t have to walk along beach, coral on the way to start of snorkel float.
Swim, snorkel, stay aboard the Good Times or relax at No Name Beach, one of Bonaire's best beaches located on the uninhabited island of Klein Bonaire.
Or take in the abundance of fish life, corals and if you are lucky… you may spot a turtle!
There is no better way to visit Klein Bonaire, than on the “Good Times”! The Good Times will stay with you at all times to provide you shade, drinks and snacks which are all rare things to find on Klein Bonaire.
I read about how hot and humid it can get in the Caribbean and decided to go with a tour with air conditioning. Henk Transfer and Tours was the perfect choice because it was big enough to fit my family of 6 and they provided complimentary bottled water. I read there's free wifi but I did not use it. The tour itself was about 2 hours. We visited the pink beach, salt flats, slave huts, 1000 steps, and flamingo lake (but there were very small amounts of flamingos, we're told they're shy). Henk was very informative and gave us some time at each spot to observe and take photos. We didn't go down where the flamingos were because they were very far away. Bonaire is a beautiful island and if you don't do one of these tours you wouldn't see these other pretty sights. Henk dropped us off at a beach close to the port and picked us up at a scheduled time for an additional fee. Overall, it was a very good experience with this company and I would recommend it to anyone that is looking for good way to see various locations of Bonaire.

Basic Island overview tour. There was a significant amount of time spent driving for a very little bit of site seeing. The guide was pleasant enough and tried hard to entertain but there is just not that much to do or see on the island if not going into the water (beach/snorkel etc.).

My wife and I took the Bonaire Essentials tour on 9-12-19. The tour was very well done. The guide was very responsive to us by providing interpretation, as we were the only Americans on the tour. We had a great time during our tour and sure appreciate the attention to detail at the stops during the tour.
