For fans of the popular television show Cheers, Cheers Boston (formerly the Bull and Finch Pub) is a mandatory pilgrimage. Visitors, though, should be aware that the bar inside doesn’t look like its famous TV alter ego, but that shouldn’t deter anyone from stopping for a beer and soaking up the bar’s inspirational setting. Plus, the bar is in Beacon Hill, one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city.
Cheers Boston really is an authentic neighborhood pub. It’s a place where the staff banters with Cheers fans and visitors, while serving up good pub grub and a frothy pint of beer. While you’re here, you can even pick up a few souvenirs. If you don’t make it to this pub, there is a replica of the TV version of Cheers in the Quincy Market.
Cheers Boston is located on Beacon Street, in the Beacon Hill neighborhood. The pub is easily accessible via the MBTA subway, or the T. The pub is also close to a lot of Beacon Hill sites, including Boston Common, the Museum of Afro-American History, the Boston Athenaeum, and the Charles River Esplanade.
