Thoroughly enjoyed the cruise and sanctuary. A lot of picture opportunities that you will want to show people, but understand that the Koalas do a lot of sleeping. The food at the sanctuary cafe is really basic, so don't expect much. The cruise ship has snacks and drinks.
The whole sanctuary and river cruise experience was awesome. It was interesting learning the history of Brisbane and the Koala Sanctuary. We have never seen so many koalas in the one spot. It was really nice to sit in the covered area having lunch and watching the koalas in the pretend trees eating and moving around. The keepers kept the area spotless and there was no smell from the urine or faeces deposited by the koalas because the area was always being sterilised and raked. Wandering around and seeing the other animals was good. Unfortunately we didn't get to hold a koala because of the heat, but we didn't mind because their welfare comes first. We took a few photos and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We would recommend it to everyone.
Take a leisurely river cruise from Brisbane to the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary to observe native Australian wildlife. This half-day tour departs from bustling Southbank and cruises along the Brisbane River with views of iconic landmarks on the way to Lone Pine. Upon arrival, enjoy ample time to meet the animals. Observe the platypus, and watch animal shows that feature sheepdogs and birds of prey. A great experience for animal lovers.
Our driver was very informative during our drive to the zoo. Lots of information about Australia and the sights along the way, so that was fun. He offered great advice about the zoo and some of the attractions to make our visit the best it could be. On the drive back afterward, he was respectful of the fact that we were tired so much less chatter. The zoo was really cool, pretty much exactly what I expected. There are many water stations and restrooms along the way as you walk throughout the zoo. The staff were very friendly and eager to answer questions. I would definitely recommend this excursion to others. Be aware though, it's a long day and you are bound by the timeframes that are set up by Croc Express Coach, which is fine for adults but may be too long a day for younger kids.
Observe amazing animals from Down Under and around the world at the famous Australia Zoo—Home of the Crocodile Hunter! The legacy of Steve Irwin and his family, this conservation center aims to educate visitors about wildlife and help preserve endangered species for the future. Ride to the zoo from your Brisbane or Gold Coast hotel in an air-conditioned Croc Express coach, and enjoy hours of free time to browse the fantastic mammal, bird, and reptile exhibits. Watch supervised educational demonstrations by animal handlers.
3-Day Southern Great Barrier Reef Tour Including Lady Musgrave Island
Great tour with a lovely guide
, Jan 2020
The tour was great, made many experiences (zoos, great barrier reef, turtles).
Harry, our lovely tour guide, provides many information around various things on the tour and loves to help you with everything you might need.
Thank you for everything, Harry!
Harry is a lovely tour guide. I’m vegetarian and he accommodated for me really well. Food was fantastic! The zoo experience was intimate. Lady Musgrave Island and Reef was just amazing. I learnt how to paddle board and surf which was great fun. Fellow travellers were friendly. Overall this trip was excellent.

Our driver was very friendly. Talked about Brisbane on way to ferry. Took fun ferry ride over to Stadbroke Island. Guide tried his best to find a koala, kangaroo & sea turtles in the wild, and we did see them! The stop at the lake, the lunch & the hike around the cliff area were all nice. The walking might be a little strenuous for someone with difficulty walking, but we all enjoyed it & had lovely views. Great day in all!

Moreton Island Day Trip (Kayak, Snorkel & Sandboard) frm Brisbane or Gold Coast
Morten Island Get Wrecked Tour
, Jan 2020
Amazing and beautiful island. Sand boarding and kayaking was great fun but for me I could not do snorkelling and so very disappointing. I informed the guide that I had never done snorkelling before so he should have taken extra care to explain the use of equipment and help me out which he did not n took the group near the ship wreck area. I needed more helpful guide n instructor. So I’m unhappy about that.
Highly recommend! Wonderful tour, had the best experience ever and had awesome tour guides especially the blonde woman, I believe her name is Tash? I wish I had more time at Moreton Island it was the highlight of my Australian holiday
Excellent activities, beautiful place, smooth boat ride, sad lunch
, Nov 2019
Pickup and drop-off were nice and clear, the boat ride was smooth, the activities were fantastic! Moreton Island is definitely worth a visit - snorkeling at the wrecks was amazing, and kayaking was nice as well, though hard because of the wind and current at the time that we went. The current there is pretty strong, and that particular day it was windy, so being in the water was more like being on a lazy river. I thought of doing this by myself, and I'm glad I got the tour instead - I don't think I would have gotten to the wrecks safely on my own, even if I'm a good swimmer. Sandboarding was a blast! So glad I did it, and it's less scary than it looks!
The tour had about 30 people on it, so there wasn't much communication among participants, and there were so many guides that it was impossible to establish rapport. The lunch was just terrible bread (you know, the kind that's full of sugar and you can leave it on the cupboard for a month, and it won't go bad), basic veggies and deli meat. Not great for vegetarians who try to watch the figure. No plates to even make yourself a salad; just grab veggies in your hand, I guess. I should have brought my own lunch. Other than sad food options and too big of a group, it was a good tour. Moreton Island is definitely worth a visit, and this tour company is probably just as good as others.
Spend a blissful day on Moreton Island exploring the beaches, snorkel sites, and enormous sand dunes during this full-day tour from Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast, or the Gold Coast. Travel with an experienced guide in a rugged 4-wheel drive vehicle, going from sea to sand as you snorkel at the Tangalooma Wrecks and kayak around the coral reef, then head inland to try sandboarding on the dunes. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the beach and soak in the tropical scenery of Moreton Island on this fun-filled tour.
Please note: An additional cost of AU$50pp is to be paid in cash to your driver prior to departure to cover national park and ferry fees during this tour.

2-Day Fraser Island 4WD Tour from Brisbane or the Gold Coast
, Jan 2020
Great tour! One of my favourites definitely. You get to see multiple unique landscapes such as beaches, lakes and nature. The lake Birrabeen was amazing and there were not a lot of persons over there so it was really pleasant. The guide M. Trevor was really kind and interesting, his presence was really appreciated. Thank you again!
The tour was perfect. We have been able to visit all the major points of the island. The guide (Rhett) was really really knowledgeable and brought us to less touristic places when it was possible. The only change I would do is to join the tour in Rainbow Beach as the trip from Brisbane is quite long.

No Extra Cost | Dolphin & Tangalooma Wrecks Cruise
A great day
, Jan 2020
It was overall a great day. Very organized pick up and drop off. Very nice, comfortable boat and delicious lunch. Beautiful location. All the staff were very professional and accommodating. The only draw back was feeling a little rushed through snorkeling even though we had an hour. We rushed through the ship wrecks but had 20 minutes at the end to explore but there was not much to see at the end. I would have liked to take more time going through the course. We were a little bunched up in places so it might be better to stagger the snorkelers with more groups going through at different times.

Lester, our driver was very courteous and friendly. The tour was excellent too, we loved the Australia Zoo and all the experiences there. We wish the ship were in port so we could have stayed longer at the zoo. Pickup and drop-off were great, right as we walked off the ship we found their vans.
Croc Tours to Glass House Mountains and the Australia Zoo from Brisbane
, Oct 2019
Croc Tours offered what larger operations didn't: pick-up at my YHA. Our driver, Lester, was diliigent, explained what we would be doing, gave us geological, historical, and cultural information about Glass House Mountains, and gave us tips on how to get around the Zoo and which features to be sure to see. Our group was very small and I had the privilege of.getting acquainted with others on the tour. The van was clean and comfortable, and we were offered cold bottled water, maps of the zoo, and return transport to our accommodations.

We had a great time on this tour. Our guide was fabulous and we visited three wineries, a distillery and a micro- brewery. The Mt. Tamborine area is fabulous and we want to go back and spend more time there. All the wines were great and a wonderful lunch at Cedar Creek winery was included. It was a great trip, with a fun group of people and fabulous wines. My only suggestion was that it felt a bit rushed sometimes, so maybe a slightly longer tour or maybe sample less wi es at each place. Regardless, we had a great time and I highly recommend this tour to anyone!

Moreton Island Snorkel and Sandboarding 4WD Day Trip from Brisbane
, Dec 2019
My sister and I had a blast on this tour! The sand boarding was so much fun and we truly enjoyed snorkeling over the shipwrecks. Our guide was really nice and told us a lot about the island. He even dropped us off at our hotel afterward, instead of the drop off point. If you're looking for a tour to Moreton Island, this is the one you should choose! :D

We had a great experience with Tania with Bums on Seats. She picked us up promptly from our hotel in the CBD and kept us entertained with stories and some history on the area all the way to Springbrook. Things I really appreciated about the tour 1. The small group setting - much better than the large buses because it felt more personal 2. Combining Tamborine, Springbrook, and the Glowworms instead of having to do two separate tours 3. Having lunch included 4. Tania, of course! She was a great host!

3 Day Fraser Island - Kingfisher Bay Resort HOTEL TWIN Brisbane, Sunshine Coast
Kingfisher bay (not) and 3 day tour of Fraser
, Oct 2019
Due to a lack of people wanting to do this tour we were combined with the 3 day camping tour and stayed at Eurong resort on the other
island. Eurong Resort was adequate for our purposes, clean and spacious. Buffet style was served for breakfast and dinner though al-acart menu was available for dinner. The tour rep Megan was brilliant and deserves 5 stars on her own. My criticism is regarding the transport which was tired and it would have been better if the seats faced forward instead of to the sides.
Stay in an award-winning eco-resort, the Kingfisher Bay Resort, on this three-day trip to Fraser Island. Experience both relaxation and adventure on this tour, with beach and resort-based activities as well as wildlife spotting and a four-wheel drive along the beach. An ideal trip for travelers who want a convenient and idyllic getaway but who don’t have much time in Queensland.
We are very satisfied with Ben's guide. He was nice, knowledgeable and caring. He prepared good food and beverage and gave us a lot of information about Springbrook. It was really a wonderful experience.
I had been debating if I should rent a car or take a tour and I am glad that I took this tour with Rainforest Tours Australia!
Julian was a great guide and he told us about the area and the plants and animals in the region. We went to 4 different locations and had a mix of medium and short hikes. Breathtaking views! I especially loved that they picked up/dropped off from my hotel in Brisbane and that snacks and lunch were provided (I wasn't expecting lunch and it was a wonderful bonus not having to pack my own). I also really appreciated the fact that he followed up after the tour to answer any questions that he didn't know at the time.
Great tour! I would definitely book with them again in the future.
