Budapest Daytime Sightseeing Cruise by Legenda City Cruises
, Jan 2020
Great cruise for the price. Lots of seating, they also give you tea and you can also have wine at the end. One of the young ladies translated in about 9 different languages without skipping a beat, honestly that alone was cool to watch. Great views from all areas.
Good commentary on the upward journey on easy to use headphones attached to the seat in front. It was a very cold day and they give you a nice warm glass of lightly spiced orange drink. Friendly staff. Well worth it to see the city from the river. It takes you right round Margaret Island.
Admire Budapest from the water on a 70-minute Duna Bella River Danube cruise. Board the panoramic Duna Bella boat, and sail by landmarks including the Hungarian Parliament and Chain Bridge as you sip a glass of Champagne, wine, beer, soda, or water — your choice. Finish by cruising around leafy Margaret Island, with the option to go ashore and explore the island's parks as you wish before catching the next Duna Bella boat back.
The food is not that great, and we finished dinner like less than 2 hours, so the boat ride afterwards was totally boaring. They should open the doors or let the people go out to look at the view. The only thing I appreciated was the transfer from our hotel to the boat. The driver was awesome.
This was an excellent cruise, way above, and far superior than expected. Friendly staff and great music. The boat was really nice and seemed a lot nicer than other ones I’ve seen on Danube! Great value at 10euro including glass of champagne!!
Great way to spend an evening, the boat was beautiful and spotlessly clean. The staff were very helpful and greeted us as we boarded with a choice of complimentary drinks and escorted us to our table. The food was buffet style with a good choice catering for everyone and well presented. The entertainment was traditional Romanian band and engaged well with everyone on the night. The cruise on the Danube itself was an experience with its beautifully lit up shorelines amazing to see. All in all a must on your list of things to do if you plan visiting Budapest, we will definitely do it again when we return.
Experience the beautiful sights of Budapest on a cruise along the Danube River. See famous landmarks such as the Chain Bridge, which connects the eastern and western sides of the city, as well as Buda Castle. On board you can enjoy wine and Hungarian sparkling wine and a buffet-style dinner included on the cruise, based on the tour option selected. Live music sets the mood as you glide past the capital city’s stunning backdrop.
The food was okay, nothing to get excited about other than the apple strudel bites. It was very hot on the boat, no ventilation to speak of. The windows weren't opened. We were driving in from Vienna for the cruise, so we needed parking. I was told to park at the university and there wasn't any obvious way to pay for parking, there weren't any signs to such and no signs to requiring a permit. I asked the agency about parking and they said that would be fine. Well we returned to a parking ticket that was as you can imaging 100% in Hungarian. We went on a Friday so we discovered our ticket on a Friday night. No way to pay until Monday, but we'd be three hours away, back in Vienna at a conference. There was an account number listed, but nothing that looked official on the ticket, so we weren't entirely sure it was real. Contacted the touring agency who just said that they were sorry our trip was ending this way. Well we were too. Touring agency did not offer to pay for the ticket we incurred as a result of listening to their advice. We will have to pay through a banking transfer which is going to cost us $50 just for the transfer, not to include the fine. UGH. Not happy at all. I told the touring agency they should make a note about this for future situations and all they could say was that they would try to remember. Really????? UGH, Not happy.
Made a repeat trip to Budapest and made reservations for a lunch time cruise but was unable to print tickets. Tried a few times but still unable to print. On the day in question I phoned there office to be told they confirmed my booking but I had to collect these from an office within a local hotel. They seemed unwilling to advise me of the pier number or the name of the boat. Although the cruise was enjoyable and the food tasty the lead up to boarding was a farce.

Additional drinks are available for purchase on board as the evening continues along Budapest’s sparkling panorama.
We went with the 9pm cruise and had a beautiful view of the city from the water. The crew was very friendly, quick service and decent quality drinks. The boat itself (furniture etc.) seemed a bit old and worn. However, the only major downside was, that there was literally zero info about the sights. Instead, they played music over the speakers the entire ride. We kinda expected something different
Nice cruise, but should have the ability to accommodate all the guests in the heated cabin in winter.
, Jan 2020
The cruise was nice and offered great views of Budapest in the evening. But one point. They could accommodate only a certain number of their guests in the enclosed heated area. Rest had to seat on the open deck. It was a bitterly cold December evening and it was windy as well. Not everyone might like that. Since all their guests pay the same, they should make sure that all have access to the same amenities.
Cruise the Danube River in the evening on a sightseeing cruise through Budapest. With a beverage in hand, take in the famous sights of Budapest along the banks of the river, deemed a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Szentendre the Artists Village Half-Day & Boat Tour from Budapest
Fantastic half day tour
, Jan 2020
The tour guide was excellent. She was very friendly & informative.
Szentendre is a beautiful village, very pretty to look at.
We went to the marzipan museum whilst there & it was pretty amazing.
All of the shops located there are really unusual & it was a great experience to get to see it.
It was very quiet due to the time of year that it is & the weather wasn't great. I'd say it would be even better in the summer time.

Budapest Combo City Walking Tour and Danube River Dinner Cruise
, Sep 2019
Walking tour was much better than i was expecting, very informative and interesting. Best part of the walking tour was being taken on the underground and then a coffee and several strudels.
The Dinner cruise was worth taking for the views of an evening, the buffet food wasnt the best, but its a good experience.

Danube River Cruise
, Nov 2019
Great Trip, could not hear very much of the commentary due to noisy fellow travellers.
Advise you check your tickets as we booked for 8pm through Viator but found out that was
no 8pm cruise ! We had to walk & find the office, the lady was very helpful though & altered the time.
Cruising on the Danube river which divides Buda from Pest. It was absolutely magnificent. The weather was perfect and plenty of room for all.
We made one stop at an island and an hour there. One can probably spend a whole day.
Very interesting and worthwhile.

Budapest: Night Cruise with Parliament View & Welcome Drink
, Dec 2019
It was a beautiful cruise. The blankets are very appreciated if you are outside. You have time to take pictures and appreciate the landscape.
Why not offer different languages for the history of monuments...
Our original booking was missed by 30 minutes, due to the taxi driver not knowing exactly where we were going. We waited for the return of the tour to find it was the last of the evening. After explaining out predicament to the manager, he graciously added us to the next evening's list. We were greeted with a glass of champagne and blanket and took our seats on the spacious upper deck, for the best photos. The lights of Budapest did not disappoint! Commentary on the boat was informative and understandable and we were positioned to take advantage of the best photo shots. This was my second trip to the area and will do this tour again, should I find myself back in Budapest

From Budapest: Danube Bend Day Trip including Lunch
, Nov 2019
Everything about this tour was awesome except the little drive into Slovakia. I don't understand why this was of importance other than to possible see Hungary from across the Danube. Since it was during the day and nothing was lit up, it mostly served as a waste of time
Having seen the City of Budapest on a Segway for 2 hours and walked the shopping district we took the Danube Bend Day Trip. It was a splendid day out on a Coach into Slovakia to see a Basilica in Esztergrom then onto enjoy a 3 course lunch with panoramic views over the Danube Bend and then to a lively little town with lots of small shops and eating places where we took the 1 hour boat trip back to Budapest, enjoying the river views as we neared the City just in time to see the magnificent buildings showing off their prominence in the evening floodlights. A super trip, a great day out of the city.
Excellent tour. We were very lucky with the weather and our tour guide Elena was very knowleadgeable, though some times we got to much information. She was very chatty and full of dates and facts. The lunch was better than expected, I could not finish it! In a beautiful scenic restaurant, wich was a plus. The trip back in the boat was really good also.

Private All Day Danube Bend Tour From Budapest with lunch and cruise
Danube Bend tour
, Jan 2020
Our guide and driver was Istvan. He picked us up from our hotel on time and gave us details about our itinerary for the day. On the drive over, he gave us historical facts about Esztergom and Szentendre as well as Visegrad. Very good driver, great guide. Highly recommend this tour. We had a great time with Istvan!
Our group of six enjoyed our tour immensely. Our guide was very informative about local history and culture. She went out of her way to answer questions and show us many interesting things on our tour. The lunch of local cuisine was excellent and all enjoyed it. We would highly recommend this experience.
Susan was an excellent tour guide. She is so incredibly knowledgeable and is a wealth of information. The tour itself was a bit pricey for what you get and lasts longer than it should. You can probably do this whole trip in maybe half a day. The town of Szentendre is cute, but filled with pretty commercial souvenir shops that all start looking the same.

Hungarian Dance Performance with Danube Night Cruise
Wow! What an evening!
, Nov 2019
This was so much better than we expected.
The show at the Danube Palace was amazing, with first-rate musicians. The lead violinist in particular was a beautiful player, well worth the entrance money just by himself. And then there was the rest of the ensemble, including the cimbalom which we'd never seen before. For me, it was all about the music, but the dancers were also very good indeed.
And then to top it all a cruise, yet more live Hungarian music and loads of delicious food (a stated 3 course buffet but you could help yourself as often as you liked).
A spectacular evening with top-class entertainment, we had a fabulous time.
The show was nice, though we weren't allowed to take any videos.
The dinner cruise itself was lovely because you could see all the attractions all lit up but the staff could be more helpful. I was asked to sit anywhere I wanted and only when I requested for some water, I was informed that I needed to sit on another side because the buffet had already started - if I hadn't asked the staff I don't think I would have gotten any dinner!!
Everything went so well, from the pick, greeting by our host, the fantastic show, walk to the boat, excellent food and music and of course the night illuminations is the cherry on the cake. Finally the hotel drop off. Simply Superb

First, enjoy live music and dancing at the Danube Palace or the Hungarian Heritage House with one of the most highly regarded folk ensembles in the country. Afterward, take a cruise along the Danube, sipping wine and sampling a Hungarian buffet dinner. We were picked up from our hotel on time. The day started out rainy.but later the sun came out and shone on the beautiful countryside. The places we visited were beautiful and the lunch very nice as well. The guide was very knowledgeable and proficient in both English and Spanish. It's a nice day trip and I highly recommend it. The only negative issue is communication with the company..the web site shows error all the time and the phone numbers on the advertisement also did not work. I hope you fix this soon.
Very nice and relaxing day trip to old city of Esztergom and surrounding area, view from Slovakia of the basilica was excellent, guide provided excellent narration, however we had to listen in English and Spanish because of the few Spanish speaking guests, lunch was plentiful and tasty. The visit to the quaint village of Szentendre was very good. The trip back to Budapest via the river boat on the Danube was a surprise as we didn’t expect it based on the tour information. Overall a nice trip.
We liked the country side. The basilica was nice sight to see as well as the view of the town from the other side of the river when we crossed to Slovakia. We stopped in nice location for lunch which was sufficient.
