Private Bratislava Day Trip from Budapest with lunch
Bratislava with Istvan
, Jan 2020
Istvan is a great guide and driver. He picked us up at the hotel on time. Then he provided us with details of our itinerary. Bratislava is more than 2 hours' drive from Budapest and while driving, Istvan told us facts about the Bratislava and Slovakia. We expected a border between Slovakia and Hungary but there wasn't any. The lunch was good; I believe that was the best wiener schnitzel I've ever had. Old Town Bratislava was interesting. Istvan gave us more facts about the town, then gave us free time to roam around the town. We met up with him where he parked the car. We asked him questions about Budapest on the drive back and he answered back. Istvan is very knowledgeable and is a great guide. We highly recommend this tour and hopefully, you also get Istvan as your guide.
If you have a day to spare in Budapest, this is a great option for you to consider. Bratislava may not be as popular as the neibouring capital cities of Prague, Vienna and Budapest but it has its charms. And quirks. And history. Our tour guide, Susan , is fantastic. No problems at all with our booking.

We were picked up from our hotel on time. The day started out rainy.but later the sun came out and shone on the beautiful countryside. The places we visited were beautiful and the lunch very nice as well. The guide was very knowledgeable and proficient in both English and Spanish. It's a nice day trip and I highly recommend it. The only negative issue is communication with the company..the web site shows error all the time and the phone numbers on the advertisement also did not work. I hope you fix this soon.
Very nice and relaxing day trip to old city of Esztergom and surrounding area, view from Slovakia of the basilica was excellent, guide provided excellent narration, however we had to listen in English and Spanish because of the few Spanish speaking guests, lunch was plentiful and tasty. The visit to the quaint village of Szentendre was very good. The trip back to Budapest via the river boat on the Danube was a surprise as we didn’t expect it based on the tour information. Overall a nice trip.
We liked the country side. The basilica was nice sight to see as well as the view of the town from the other side of the river when we crossed to Slovakia. We stopped in nice location for lunch which was sufficient.

Fun day trip
, Nov 2019
Interesting tour away from the city. About a 90 minute drive. We visited Kecskermet for about 45 minutes. Learned some history and time for coffee. Make sure you have Hungarian money. Visit to the farm was fun. Horse show is good entertainment and they gave away some wine. We walked around to see all the horses and other animals. Lunch is good and plentiful.

From Budapest: Danube Bend Day Trip including Lunch
, Nov 2019
Everything about this tour was awesome except the little drive into Slovakia. I don't understand why this was of importance other than to possible see Hungary from across the Danube. Since it was during the day and nothing was lit up, it mostly served as a waste of time
Having seen the City of Budapest on a Segway for 2 hours and walked the shopping district we took the Danube Bend Day Trip. It was a splendid day out on a Coach into Slovakia to see a Basilica in Esztergrom then onto enjoy a 3 course lunch with panoramic views over the Danube Bend and then to a lively little town with lots of small shops and eating places where we took the 1 hour boat trip back to Budapest, enjoying the river views as we neared the City just in time to see the magnificent buildings showing off their prominence in the evening floodlights. A super trip, a great day out of the city.
Excellent tour. We were very lucky with the weather and our tour guide Elena was very knowleadgeable, though some times we got to much information. She was very chatty and full of dates and facts. The lunch was better than expected, I could not finish it! In a beautiful scenic restaurant, wich was a plus. The trip back in the boat was really good also.

Our guide and driver was Istvan. He picked us up from our hotel on time and gave us details about our itinerary for the day. On the drive over, he gave us historical facts about Esztergom and Szentendre as well as Visegrad. Very good driver, great guide. Highly recommend this tour. We had a great time with Istvan!
Our group of six enjoyed our tour immensely. Our guide was very informative about local history and culture. She went out of her way to answer questions and show us many interesting things on our tour. The lunch of local cuisine was excellent and all enjoyed it. We would highly recommend this experience.
Susan was an excellent tour guide. She is so incredibly knowledgeable and is a wealth of information. The tour itself was a bit pricey for what you get and lasts longer than it should. You can probably do this whole trip in maybe half a day. The town of Szentendre is cute, but filled with pretty commercial souvenir shops that all start looking the same.

Great fun. Enjoyed the welcoming rider and horse at the entrance. The horse show was a wonderful example of the art of horsemanship. The dinner after the performance was delicious and fulfilling. This tour would be enjoyed by all ages.

Kinga is a fantastic tour guide, illuminating the glories of stories often covered by our cultural ignorance. She was incredibly kind and passionate, answering all of our questions, getting to know us and pointing out things we would like. Having a private tour is far superior to a group one as you feel fully immersed in the city.
Thank you so much Kinga!

Budapest in a Day: Private Luxury Sightseeing Tour
From $466.61 per group
, Oct 2019
Gabrielle gave us a spectacular 6-hour tour of Budapest. We had a car and walking tour which I highly recommend for any future traveler because Budapest is really spread out and it is very difficult to get around to see all the major sites by walking. We also believe 6 hours was the right amount of time. But be careful because if you go in the busy season there is a could be a lot of traffic which could impact how much of the city you can see.

a hot day away from busy budapest
, Sep 2019
A good day for a day trip to lake balaton on a big national holiday when the city would be jampacked. it was a hot day but still a nice day to be out and see the beautiful area. i was hoping to see some lavender fields as i kept mentioning to our private driver Atilla, but we did not stop at one. I thought a private tour could be tweaked somehow. oh we did, we managed to stop at the Tihany Abbey, which even the nonprivate tour stops at. The TIhany postcards always have the Abbey and the lavenders! We stopped at a porcelain factory, the pretty town of Balatonfured, and had a relaxing lunch at Csopak.
I think the nonprivate tour would have been just as good, at the fraction of the cost.
