12 reviews

Argentina’s rich Jewish heritage takes center stage at the Jewish Museum of Buenos Aires, which adjoins the Templo Libertad, the country’s largest and oldest synagogue. Small enough to visit in an hour, the museum is brimming with religious artifacts, Torahs, manuscripts, and art, most of them donated from the personal collection of Dr. Salvador Kibrick.

Jewish Life in Buenos Aires
We had a very interesting tour of Jewish life in Buenos Aires with our tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and provided us with a wealth of information about the immigration of Jews in the early years, where they settled in the city and surrounding regions as well as the two horrific terrorist attacks on the Israeli embassy and Jewish cultural Center. We would highly recommend this tour.

Jewish tour
This was my favorite tour on this trip. It was fascinating to hear about how the Jews migrated to Argentina. We walked through the Jewish neighborhoods and visited the museum and synagogue. We learned about the terrorist attack in the Jewish community. Our guide, Kevin, was brilliant, so knowledgeable, so interesting. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour
