Not a 24 hour pass it’s a day pass !
, Jan 2020
Please make sure you realize this is a one day pass unlike others that is a 24 hours from when you start it . So I was thinking I could finish the next day to find out this is not the case in cape town . Forget about talking to management Claus was rude and very aggressive. Uncaring !

Fantastic tour visiting some stunning wineries (5 in total and all unique in their own way). Nicholas our guide was extremely knowledgeable and personable and made the trip even the more enjoyable. This trip is a must do
Thanks for a great day. Theulis was the perfect guide, informative and thoughtful ensuring that all our needs were met. There were 11 on our trip, an ideal number to share the day with. Most of the day was at the vineyards rather than on a mini bus. We visited 4 vineyards in the Stellenbosch region, each with its own very unique style. Wine, MCC and brandy tasting all day!!! Lunch was provided. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely recommend. Cheers 🥂🍷

On this tour, enjoy a comprehensive introduction to South African wine as you visit four different wineries; sample a wide variety of red and white wines, including port brandy and sparkling wine; stop at a local restaurant for lunch; and taste regional specialties including cheese and chocolates.
From the 1st minute, our guide Reuben was a delight. Funny, friendly and incredibly knowledgable. The trip was a great insight into life in the Cape and a must do for first time Cape Town tourists. 10/10

After completing the zipline course, which includes 13 elevated platforms and a waterfall crossing via suspension bridge, refuel with an included meal at the onsite cafe.
Although a long drive to the reserve, it was worth it. The guide/driver was a local who knew much about the local history. The game lodge was beautiful, the lunch excellent and the game drive was enriching with a knowledgeable guide who knows and cares much about the animals.
It was a great day trip from Cape Town. We managed to see Ostrich, Springboks, Hippos, Rhinos, Lion. Having been on safari in Kenya a number of years ago, it is not comparable with the Kenyan Safari experience.
Spend a full day at the Aquila Game Reserve, the closest one to Cape Town, on this safari tour. Full-Day Cape Point & Cape Peninsula Sightseeing Tour from Cape Town
This is worth it!
, Feb 2020
A lot was contained in this tour and I was surprised that we could do all that in just one day - visiting the seal colony as well as the penguin colony, a walk up to the old lighthouse at Cape Point as well as a walk along the cliff to Cape of Good Hope, light snack and picnic lunch and some picture stops along the way. Needless to mention a great guide and a great driver. Amazing!
The day was great, all well organized. A little more time at the Cape would have been great. Also we were not picked up at the hotel and office place is not easy to find. More information for these guests is definitely necessary.

Excellent day. Robben Island especially stands out. Great talk from a former prisoner who is now a guide. Delayed by an hour in leaving the harbour to get to the island but even this did not spoil the tour. Had an excellent guide on the morning tour Zandi - very knowledgable. On arriving back in the harbour tow hours late Zandi came and picked us up which we weren’t expecting. Would highly recommend this tour.
We like the Townships Tour. The Tour Guide was nice, knowledgeble.Explained about District 6 Tragedy
where 60000 Coloured People were moved out to make way for Whites and showed usthe Townships where they were forced to move.He showed us where to board the Ship to Robben Island. Then we are on our own.I expected that company to pick us up and take us back to our Hotel as per my agreement. We were on our own and had to take a Taxi.
This was not a trip for the faint hearted. It was quite moving to ee the conditions in which some people still live. The trip to Robben Island was well organised but the staff on the boat were over officious. I would fully recommend this to anyone wanting an insught into the past and present of this country.
Take a fascinating trip through South Africa’s difficult past on a tour of Cape Town and Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela spent 18 of his 27 years in prison. Visit the District Six Museum to get an in-depth look at the troubling history of apartheid in South Africa, and see how that system still impacts modern life in townships like Langa and Gugulethu. See how residents of these townships work to improve their lives and communities. Take a ferry to UNESCO-listed Robben Island for a tour of the former prison for political prisoners.
Very friendly and involved guided tour. Many explanations and fun facts you wouldn't hear or read without that tour. Our guide, Carola was very, very friendly and open and radiated lots of joy.

Two Oceans Scenic Helicopter Flight from Cape Town
, Jan 2020
It’s ok, but highly depend on where you sit. They allocate seats to balance the weight (this is ok as it is due to safety), but even if you are given one of the back seats- it depends left or right, as the pilot doesn’t fly the way to ensure that both sides get the same views.
We really loved this experience: everything was organised on a top level and the views were spectacular. We were really lucky with our pilot Werner, who managed to perform the flight perfectly despite the wind and told us a lot of interesting information during the flight. We can highly recommend to do this tour to everybody who visits Cape Town
Take an exciting private helicopter tour from Cape Town to see two oceans in one 25-minute flight. Fly around iconic Table Mountain to see the Atlantic Ocean on one side of the Cape Peninsula and then continue until you get to the Indian Ocean on the other side. Cape Point and Boulder's Beach Penguins Tour: Including Park fee
Great day out
, Feb 2020
This was a lovely trip. There was space on the bus so it didn't feel too crowded. The stops were lovely and the guides were great. The staff were lovely and helpful. The sights were amazing, especially the guided hike. The penguins were great but it was busy and you don't get that close.
It was good in respect to times and opportunity to go for a small hike but the guide talked ALL the way and would have liked more peace on the journey as just wanted to appreciate the scenery which is beautiful. This of course was just my preference others may have found it entertaining.
Excellent trip to Cape Point and watch the antics of baboons at the visitor area. The large number of African penguins at Boulder Beach was amazing. Our bus tour guide, Brahm, was so knowledgeable an entertaining. I would highly recommend him.
Visit a penguin colony at Boulder’s Beach and the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve all in one day during this tour, including round-trip transport from Cape Town. First, catch sight of the endangered African penguins on the beach, and then travel over to Cape Point in the nature reserve. This wine tour was so fun. We visited 4 wineries with great wine tastings. it also included lunch with wine also. We are from the USA and enjoyed our group that included people from England, Brazil and Germany. The Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl area is beautiful and the wineries great. It was a full day of wine tastings and I highly recommend this tour.

Robben Island & transfers/hotel, We visit additional famous spots in the City!!
, Jan 2020
We were picked up from our hotel by Fazilla who was our guide to show us around the city. Afterward she took us to the pier to catch the boat to Robben Island. After our tour of the island Fazilla was waiting for us on the dock to return us to our hotel.
The tickets were provided for the island so we didn’t have to wait in line to buy the tickets. Our guide also gave us large bottles of water to take to the island.
Tours to Robben Island typically sell out early every day. Ensure your visit by booking this early-morning guided tour that transfers you from your hotel to the Robben Island Gateway at the V&A Waterfront, and then onto the boat to the island.
Big-Five Safari Full Day Guided Private Transfer from Cape Town
A Game Park Tour to Remember
, Feb 2020
Dave Coxton was excellent company for the two and a half hours drive to the Aquila Safari Park, full of local knowledge and a good conversationalist generally. The Safari Park had modern administrative buildings and caring staff to supply lunch and then the safari. We were guided by Nicholas who was very informative about the animals and had a nice sense of humour whilst keeping us all safe on his safari wagon. We saw four of the big five, as expected the leopards were not to be seen as they are nocturnal. The area is quite barren with few trees for shade therefore the hippos and rhinos were using the lakes to keep moist and cool while the lions used bushes and rocks for shade. Nicholas was well-acquainted with the park and knew where the animals were likely to be seen. The elephants were entertaining as they threw dust over themselves to keep cool. A two and a half hour safari passed quite quickly and the group were left satisfied with the animals spotted. It is either 3100 rand for a couple to enter the park and have lunch or 3500 in high season. To see wild animals up close this was money well-spent. Dave took a different route home which gave us a comprehensive view of the scenery outside Cape Town and also avoided traffic jams that his wife had reported to him whilst we were on safari, a clever move that saved us a load of travelling time. We can recommend Dave and his Born in Africa business as reasonably priced and offer great companionship for the five hours we were together in his beautiful Jaguar car.
We had an amazing day with Mike! He took us through different route on the way forward and backwards, so that we can see as much as possible of different scenery along the way. Ask for Mike when booking and he'll definitely do his best for you to have a great day :) We managed to see 4 out of the Big 5, which was quite amazing. 100% recommend
If you're staying in Cape Town for a short time, this is a great way to experience a safari in one day. Essentially this is a private transfer to and from Aquila Private Reserve (takes about 2.5hrs each way). They also help to organise your booking at the Reserve, which you pay for separately (not part of the cost of this item). The safari itself is a great experience; you can get fairly close to the animals. We were able to see four of the Big Five plus other animals such as Giraffes, Zebras and Ostriches.
In our case, our names were not initially found at the Reserve for some reason, but our guide, James, was able to work things out for us and we were able to join the safari as planned. James was a great guide/driver, providing a good amount of information on Cape Town and South Africa's history on the way to the Reserve and back again. He made sure we were well-taken care of.
Spotting the Big Five—lion, leopard, rhinoceros, elephant, and Cape buffalo—is a priority for many visitors to South Africa and this tour is ideal for those with limited time. Travel from Cape Town by private vehicle, enjoying views of the Breede River, Hex River Wine Valley, and Table Mountain along the way, then join a group safari drive at a private game reserve and enjoy some incredible wildlife-watching opportunities.
We, the owners, do the tours ourselves and seldom farm out tours. We would definitely go to places where most others do not especially in Cape of Good Hope and the little towns beyond.
We will elaborate about our history, people and current affairs as it is and not dress it up.
We will always conduct the tour to suit the people on board re - their interests, pace and ease of conversation.

My wife requested that we do this trip and although I am quite scared of heights I thoroughly enjoyed the flight. We flew around the back of Table Mountain to Cape Point and then back to Cape Town enjoying the view of some of the most wonderful coastline in the World. This was truly a wonderful experience and I am so glad we got to enjoy it.

5-Day Garden Route with Addo National Park Small Group Tour from Cape Town
5 day garden route
, Feb 2020
Trip was pretty much as advertised. Issac was a very good guide and I enjoyed his droll sense of humour. Sitting in the van was a bit rough, especially on the addo park game drive, but it was worth it to get up early as there seemed to be a lot of animals in the morning. The elephant walk was also a highlight.
A comprehensive trip along the coast to Jeffrey’s Bay and back to Cape Town along Route 62 but attempting to squeeze too many activities in the allotted time. 3-star accommodation was excellent throughout as was our tour driver.
