Such a cool authentic experience. The whole team was so friendly and accomodating. Phil, Richie, Bobby (?), and Uncle Rasta's food was NEXT LEVEL good! We can't wait to visit Jamaica again and do the cave tour.
Taxi services was good, picked up at hotel was included in the price. Our driver, Andre was nice and told us all the ins and outs of Jamaica. About 1.5 hours from our hotel in Montego Bay. Arrived to the small village and met the owners of the tour. They were nice guys, actually from Canada that loved Jamaica and created jobs for the locals. Their property was really nice, and very accommodating. Started our tour meeting the spice man, which was pretty cool. We then had a delicious home cooked meal. We then hopped on the atvs. They were super nice, but some of the trail was quite bumpy. Our tour guide, Richie was fantastic. He was a local and drove his motorcycle. He never rushed us and answered all of our questions. The things we saw on the tour were fantastic, the natural spring, the valley, the ganja field, and even a community competitive futbol match. Recommend wearing swim trunks, as the natural spring was the best swim of my life. Bring a towel and a camera; small bag wouldn’t hurt. Bring cash, as at each stop u can buy drinks from the locals. And to tip your tour guide, among others you meet on your trip. My dad and I loved the experience and recommend going. We are two adult men, so the experience may be different for children and ladies.
We were greeted by the father and son/owners. They were friendly and warm and offered us a drink/rum and energy drink!! Too strong for a non-drinker/early afternoon. We then were introduced to our guide and taken for the ride. I personally, was not impressed by the scenery and did not find the ride that enjoyable. I am a 65 year old woman, riding on a rough road is not my idea of having fun. If I were younger I might have enjoyed it. Our ride was about 2-3 hours and at the end we were given a nice meal/rice, bean, and fruit.
The most interesting part of the tour was seeing the villagers and the way the live. Many people, kids included, were out enjoying the nice weather, talking, listening to music or swimming in little natural lakes along the road. There were herds of goats everywhere and baby goats were adorable, even cuter than puppies !! The kids look healthy/happy and confident, indicating good parenting and a great/strong sense of community.
The negatives were the long drive to the location and back/3 hours. The scenery was un-impressive and the cost was very high for what we got. Way too expensive. Also, we were introduced to a guy they called "bush-man" treating different illnesses with herbs. I bought a bag for $ 15.00. Honestly I do not think I am going to use it. He did not come-across as a knowledgeable/trustworthy healer.
Check the distance of your hotel to the location especially if you do not like long drives. If scenery is the reason for taking this tour, you will be disappointed. Check other similar tours to find something that is more reasonably priced. We spend close to $ 400.00 for this tour. Not worth it.

Wonderful experience- prompt and courteous driver for the ride from and back to our hotel, beautiful horses, knowledgeable guide, nice little shop to visit at the end. All in all an adventure well worth the price.
The ride was great, we were expecting a group but we got to ride separate just two of us on the beach. Guide mostly leaves you alone unless you ask him for something. Horses appeared well trained without much surprises! Wonderful ride!! We really enjoyed it!
It felt like a private getaway - we only had one other person join us on this ride! Our guide was great - he took pictures of us on the horse, and stayed back to guide the horses in the right direction. The other rider was a first time rider and she didn't have any issues. Highly recommend this experience, and we definitely got our money's worth.

Chukka's Horseback Ride n' Swim! - Active Adventure
Chukkah horse ride and swim
, Feb 2020
One of the best experiences we had in Jamaica! Really organized and fun. The tour bus picked us up right on time and was very friendly and informative. We got to see lots of areas we haven’t. Once we got there, staff took care of everything and made us feel very welcomed and safe. There is a bar and a small beach with a swing you can chill out on after the excursion. During our ride Howard was great in helping us steer and turn the horses. He even snuck a couple pictures in for us. The horse ride is through the country side and hills. You get to see another side of Jamaica and some animals. Very beautiful. The water experience is unreal and the horses are clean and obedient. For a first time rider you’ll get the hang of it in no time. The price is reasonable for the amount of time and quality of accommodations you receive. Definitely book this tour.

Great ride with a cool driver (Rashad). Saw local sites, animals and old sugar Cane house. They even have a mini beach there which made for beautiful pictures. Some many activities to chose from but ATV was my favorite.
Take an exciting ride through Sandy Bay on an ATV (all-terrain vehicle) during this 2-hour adventure from Negril or Montego Bay. Luquillo Beach Horse Ride from Carabalí Rainforest Adventure Park
riding along luquillo beach
, Feb 2020
Outstanding. Delivers all that one expects. Guide was Juan. Upbeat, pleasant, humorous, great energy. So lucky to have had this experience. Organized. Great ride along luquillo beach. Highly, highly recommended.
What a great place, the venue is lovely, with so much to do. We had a nice lunch and then embarked on our tour. Our guide was Jonathan E (or no.2), informative, friendly, told us tales and stories and felt very comfortable with him. We took the beach horse riding tour which was absolutely beautiful. The horses are easy to ride, if anything, we would gave liked it to be a little faster paced but understand that it is to suit people that have never been on a horse before. Nonetheless, we had a great afternoon and would thoroughly recommend to anyone wanting to see a more natural side of puerto rico.
Juan was such a good sport for our horseback excursion. My mother, sister, and I had never rode horses before and he took his time to ensure we were safe, but most of all, had fun! Once we all got comfortable, it was an incredible experience! They did request for us to check in 45 min prior, however, I felt that it wasn't needed because we waited the entire time up until the excursion started doing nothing so maybe 15min next time. Overall, a fun, thrilling experience!
Enjoy a scenic horseback-riding adventure through the forests, beaches and rivers of Puerto Rico on this 2.5-hour trip. Just Safari Private Jeep Tours,4x4, Open Top Experience

Our private jeep tour was fantastic! We lucked out and really did have a private tour, just my wife and I with Vojaslov and Peter (I hope I got your names right!?!). Most tours would cancel but not these guys, they were very informative and energetic! We drove the Jeep right from our resort and went to Christian's farm to see how the coffee and cocoa is processed, and had lots of coffee, fruit, cocoa, mama juana. Then drove to do a quick zip lining and horseback riding which was lots of fun; then to the cigar shop where we rolled our own cigars, then ended with DR fried chicken on Macao Beach. We couldn't have had a better day! Don't bother with the big resort tours where they cram tons of people, we've always found these smaller ones way more worthwhile! I would recommend to anyone!
A must if you are looking for adventure and a true taste of the DR
, Jan 2020
Imagine jumping into a top down Jeep and driving yourselves to the heart of Punta Cana with two friendly jovial guides who show you the countryside while learning about the flora and fauna of the DR; meeting extraordinary individuals who are eager to share their stories and trades with you. See a small farm where coffee and chocolate are made; learn the art of cigar making even if you aren’t a smoker it’s quite the experience. Horseback ride through streams sourced by the mountains and zip line back and forth over the same water. Enjoy the friendly locals and then head to the beach where wildest waves are and a meal is prepared for you. This experience will be the highlight of your DR trip etching memories that you will talk about for years. Sounds like an advertisement but this was 2 middle aged adventure seeking besties experience. I can’t say enough about our guides- they made the experience easy with plenty of communication on the walkie talkies as they led the way in their Jeep. Every moment was complete with explanation and assurance, but laced in humor. Thanks Voislav and Peter for attention to detail and making this a trip one we will cherish for years to come. Heart Hugs always from Indianapolis!
This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. As someone who spent countless hours researching every aspect of our trip including reading hundreds of reviews on potential excursions, believe me when I tell you this was worth every penny. This is truly a private tour, no fighting crowds or pushy vendors. We had 2 adults and our 4 children ages 13, 13, 12 & 10 and had 2 Jeeps entirely to ourselves. We followed our guides everywhere and always felt very safe. Our 3 guides were so informative, genuine, and went above and beyond what was expected. We not only learned a great deal about the DR, but had a ton of fun doing so. While at Christian’s home we were able to try native fruits, chocolate, coffee and mamajuana. What was even cooler is we were able to learn about the process and history behind each. The zip line portion was a little quick as there is only 2 lines but the horseback riding was awesome. It was the highlight of the trip for many of us, as this was the first time riding a horse for 5 of us. Cigar rolling was a unique experience and we were able to take them with us, so I could enjoy them back at the resort. A fantastic lunch was served after we were able to hang at the beach and swim without any pressure to hurry or buy anything as we had our own covered picnic table as home base. As a side note my daughter was able to get her hair braided here on the beach just like what was offered at the resort for half the price (set up by our guide). We took some of our own pictures but didn’t need to because the group photographer took plenty of great shots and they were posted online the following week just as we were promised. I would highly recommend this excursion, it wasn’t a tourist trap like many of the others we had seen down there but truly a Dominican experience. Well done Just Safari!

We had a great time during all the "Best of the West".
Zipline: Safety was paramount and the instructors did an exceptional job at keeping us safe and moving us along.
Tubing: Fun and refreshing. You'll have the opportunity to Tarzan jump into the water which is cool. The tour guides Shrek, Teaspoon, Teabag and Chris Rock were knowledgeable and funny.
ATV: First time riding and I felt comfortable. This was the highlight of this particular excursion.
Tips: Bring bug spray, you will need it!

During this half-day excursion with hotel pickup and drop-off in Montego Bay, you'll get to immerse yourself in the lush jungles and rugged landscape of the 'real' Jamaica. I have been on this tour 3 times and this was the best. They gave us Honda UTV's this time so we didn't get as muddy as the 2 times before. They still had a few open buggies like the picture if you really want to get dirty. They are also adding things to the cave area so it is different every time I see it,
This half-day tour mixes several activities for an exciting day of sightseeing and riding all-terrain vehicles. On a two-seater quad bike, drive through local villages, visit Macao Beach, explore the countryside, and discover a natural cave where you can cool off with a quick swim. On this expedition, follow your guide to some of Curacao's most remote attractions, like the Indian Caves, a coastal blowhole, and the Curacao Ostrich Farm. With your small group of eighteen people or less, get to see many off-the-beaten-path landmarks that traditional tours can't access. Use of all equipment is included.
We loved the ziplining. The course was good and the workers were pleasant. They made you feel safe. I guess I'm not the quite the monkey lover, though. I had no idea they would jump all over you and in your hair. Some people got pooped on. They were cute but I would have liked to stop holding the food bowl after the first round of getting swarmed. People should be told to bring an extra shirt along.
The ziplines were awesome! I would recommend this very highly. The employees were very helpful and very friendly. Monkeyland was a lot of fun. The monkeys were active and they are treated very well by the staff. Overall it was a lot of fun!
Best. Day. Ever! Everything about the day was perfect (despite the rain). From our driver and tour guide to the Zipline instructors to the Monkeyland and Typical House crews - everyone was courteous, VERY knowledgeable and all had a good sense of humor. The views on the drive and from the ziplines were beautiful. The monkeys were adorable. The food at lunch was awesome. We learned a lot and had a blast.
Combine ziplining, a visit to the Coconut House, and a stop at Monkeyland during this 9-hour excursion from Punta Cana. All entrance fees, round-trip transportation from select hotels, and a buffet lunch included.
I absolutely loved this tour & Big Larry! The buggy’s were my favourite and we went everywhere. The scenery was beautiful. The party on the catamaran on the way back was great! I would recommend this to everyone.
This excursion covered many different types of activities from water to land based. The Catamaran ride was exciting and took us to the entire other end of the island. The buggy ride was scary at times due to the curvy roads and having to control from the opposite side, but was a worth while challenge. The highlight was the volcano, sulfur mud bath. It was just so much fun. Worth the cost. A must do for the adventurous!
Combine a catamaran sail with an off-road buggy adventure on this full-day in St. Lucia. Depart Castries on a catamaran cruise, then transfer to a buggy in Soufriere for a drive with views of the towering Pitons. Slather yourself in therapeutic mud in Sulphur Springs and visit the drive-in volcano before a trip to Toraille Waterfall and lunch at a local plantation. Finish up back on the catamaran with a snorkel stop on the local reefs, teeming with colorful marine life.
Amazing tour and great customer service, the guides were great and we paid for the photographs. The photographer followed us around and got some amazing shots.. would recommend this to anyone going to punta Cana
