Unmissable part of Vietnam culture and Eric was a highlight as our tour guide
, Feb 2020
A really great day out to see some of the most interesting sights in Vietnam, with a lovely river boat trip in a family boat. We really enjoyed the stunning historical sights on offer and learnt so much about Vietnam and the royal family, and Eric was so knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. He is one of the funniest and best tour guides we have had, and he has some excellent stories to tell! I hope next year he manages to run faster and catch himself a lovely wife, be sure to check on his training for us!! Ha, ha!
The lunch was incredibly good too, some of the best food we had in Vietnam. It was amazingly presented and I was worried that all of the work had gone into that, but the taste was delicious too. We thoroughly recommend this tour, even if you just want to meet Eric!
Great day out to historic Hue.Great guide who informed us on interesting points about Vietnam on the long journey from Da Nang to Hue and detailed knowledge of Hue when we arrived- excellent value excursion and would recommend to anyone who wants a trio out to see the beautiful ancient imperial city of Hue

Tony/Bao was such an amazing guide! Super knowledgable and funny, he provided our group with excellent insight into the Champa Kingdom and the My Son Sanctuary. We had a great day and very much recommend anyone interested in seeing My Son to consider taking this tour.
The afternoon was capped off with rice paper making, a local lunch and a peaceful ride down the Thu Bon River - a perfect conclusion to an excellent tour.
Viator offers an informative and enjoyable tour of the My Son Sanctuary. We had an exceptional experience followed by rice paper making classes and a exquisite lunch with our tour guides step family. To top of the experience a boat ride on the river into Hoi An was a truely memorable experience.
We greatly appreciated the hospitality and service was beyond words, thank you!
Really recommend for anyone planning to go to My Son to book this trip.
Our guide, Báu, was very knowledgeable about the sanctuary, hindu religion and and Cham Pa history, and Vietnam's history. He was also very interesting and a good laugh!
We got picked up at the time arranged, and were driven to the My Son sanctuary first, where Báu took us through and very interestingly explained how the sanctuary was constructed, and what it meant to the Cham Pa people.
After the tour was done, we went back on the vehicle and were taken to a farm to learn how rice paper is made, but we also learnt more about rural life in Vietnam, which was very interesting.
We all had a go at making our own rice paper, and then had some delicious rice snacks!
To end the day, we were taken to our Báu's house, located nearby the farm to eat a traditional Vietnamese home cooked meal, made by his mother. It was truly delicious and there was so much food to eat, we all left stuffed with very happy bellies.
After lunch, we were driven to the river to get on the boat, which was a very nice way to return back to Hoi An!
I would thoroughly recommend this trip to anyone planning to go to the My Son ruins!
History and culture enthusiasts will love this fun day out, which includes a visit to the Hindu temples of My Son, a cooking class and lunch at a local home, and a boat ride. Travel to My Son easily in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle. Learn all about the town's Hindu heritage on a guided walking tour, then learn to make typical Vietnamese food, before relaxing on a peaceful boat ride back to Hoi An.
Best Full Day Private Tour in Nha Trang City from Cruise Port
From $86.03 (Price varies by group size )
Definitely the best day in Nha Trang
, Jan 2020
Our tour guide Mr Tinh and driver Mr King were excellent in looking after us for the day and took us to amazing places to experience the best of Nha Trang.
The traffic was scary but Mr King manoeuvred the vehicle brilliantly and we felt very safe. Mr Tinh not only explained each location in detail but he also took numerous photos of our group for us.
Highly recommend this tour for anyone travelling to Vietnam on a cruise and have limited time.
Nha Trang City is known not only for its romantic beauty of blue sea and white sand but also for many landscapes, architectural monuments such as Institute of Oceanography, Long Son Pagoda, Bao Dai Palace , Nha Trang Cathedral, PoNagar Towers, Hon Chong Promontory, Tram Huong Tower, XQ Historical Village.... Each of them offers a unique, attraction, and all come together in "Nha Trang- one day tour"
Firstly the tour is not really a tour but more transport to Ba Na Hills and the guide saying this is the golden bridge and meet me back here in half hour. There is no explanation about the sites visited or nothing like that.
Golden bridge is a nice enough place but crammed with people so be prepared for that.
I'm sad i didn't do more research into Ba Na hills before going because i would have definitely skipped it. It's basically an artificial citadel with replicas of various places in France and a few pagodas scattered around. If you've already been to France you'll definitely not like this fake version centered around restaurants. There is not much to do here except eat and go to an arcade place.
The most enjoyable part of this place is the cable car ride to get to it.
An amazing cooking class experience. It was a great way to enjoy the local cuisine of Hoi An / Vietnam and to see the market they get their ingredients from as well as cooking the dishes. Would thoroughly recommend.
After selecting ingredients at a local market, take a boat ride along the river to the hidden Thuan Tinh Island. Then, expert chefs take you through the process of making a range of traditional Vietnamese dishes. Cook in the open air, surrounded by trees and with a view of the water—a perfect activity for a relaxing day. Taste your delicious creations, and take Vietnamese cooking techniques back with you.
Explore Hoi An’s UNESCO World Heritage-listed Ancient Town as the sun goes down on this private walking tour. Great tour, its a slightly earlier start but by getting to My Son early you beat all the large tour groups and afternoon sun.

I booked this tour for the early morning time to avoid the crowds and heat! I thoroughly enjoyed it!
The tour guide Mr. Thao was outstanding! He was on time, his communication was perfect about pickup time at my hotel and shared informative and interesting facts about the sanctuary and himself!
The bang mi and coffee were excellent!
Driver excellent though driving anywhere in Vietnam a little scary!
Was happy with this tour and would highly recommend!

Our family group of 8 took this tour to maximize our time while in this port. Tuyen, our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgable to the sites that we visited. In my opinion, she was the best tour guide we had on our trip. She made an extra effort to help our with our group's requests, while taking pictures of our group. The list of sites that we went to: XO Embroidery Factory, Nha Trang Cathedral, Long Son Pagoda, Po Nagar Cham Towers and Hon Chong, a rock garden. A nice luncheon was included at a seafood restaurant. Near the end of the day, we had time to go shopping at Cho Dam Market. However, always polite, respectful, and very knowledgeable. made sure I didn't miss the dragon bridge show (who doesn't want to see a dragon spew fire! :). Nicely priced as well. My Son Sanctuary & Marble Mountains Day Trip from Da Nang
Great Experience and Excellent Value
, Oct 2019
Fantastic experience with the Hoi An Express team! We arrived at My Son early in the morning and had a chance to explore there sanctuary and learn about the history of the Cham people by ourselves - it was nearly an hour before anyone else arrived. Walking through the temples and remnants of the sanctuary alone was a very surreal experience and a highlight of our trip!
Visiting the Marble Mountains and the Linh Ung Pagoda was fantastic as well, but My Son early in the morning was something else.
The UNESCO-listed My Son Sanctuary and the natural wonders of the Marble Mountains are two of the most popular day trips from Da Nang. This full-day tour visits both—start by exploring the ancient city of the Champa Kings, then enjoy spectacular views from the five peaks of the Marble Mountains. Hotel pickup and drop-off is included.

The trip in overall has been very well arranged . Excellent experience. We went by shuttle car to the river. Then by boat to island. We show making of wooden ships, local rice paper rolls ,local weavers ,temple and back to ancient city.
However it requires lot of walking. We enjoyed local food ,tea, coffee.
It would have been better if tour in ancient city be replaced by cyclo tour instead of walking. Our guide was very cooperative and excellent. She gave good company.Guided us well.
Many visitors to Hoi An focus their time on the city’s Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site laced with canals that the locals still use today. There’s much more to the city than just Old Town, though, and this private day tour is a great way to see an authentic slice of life in Hoi An. On top of a tour of the Old Town, take a boat through the canals to nearby villages and the quiet rural island of Cam Kim, places largely missed by tourists.
