The Basics

The Charlotte Motor Speedway has seating capacity for 84,000. There are several tracks, including the 1.5-mile (2.3-kilometer) Superspeedway, the only concrete 4-lane drag racing strip in the country, and a dirt track. In addition to NASCAR races, the speedway also hosts races by the National Hot Rod Association, Monster Truck, and World of Outlaws, along with a number of car shows, fairs, and other events.

Purchase your tickets online ahead of time or at the box office and at select gates on race day. Book the Feel the Thrills Tour to get a closer look at the tracks, including a van ride on the Superspeedway. Or jump behind the wheel with a racing experience. Fans that don’t want to steer can opt for a ride-along experience instead.
