Lamma Island is a paradise just a 30-minute ferry ride from the city of Hong Kong. It is the third largest island of the 260+ islands that make up Hong Kong SAR, but one of the least developed or populated. The island is geographically divided into 2 sections (north & south) joined together by a narrow strip of sand 6oo metres wide.
This one-day sea kayak journey takes us around the northern section of the Island, highlighting the incredible differences between the sparsely populated (6,000 people), laid-back island of Lamma, with the heavily populated, frantic paced island of Hong Kong (4.1 million people), just 2 kilometres away. These stark contrasts are what makes Hong Kong such a unique destination.
This trip will show you old and new, east and west, wild nature and man-made superstructures, all in the one memorable day.
