We arrived around 8:30 and they were ready for us - our waiter took us to our beachside spot and was very attentive all day. The pool bar was also top notch. The food was ok - nothing special. I had a massage right there on the beach with Cecilia and it was fantastic! We had a blast and would do this again!

Playa Mia was an incredible experience for our family of 5! The kids splash pad area was a big hit for our younger kids as were the water slides. The beach, beach toys and inflatables were a lot of fun as well.
The only disappointment was the food. We were hoping for more of an authentic Mexican buffet but the food options were really quite random. The food wasn’t terrible but it was average at best.

Paradise Beach All-Inclusive Food and Beverage Plus Fun Pass
Wonderful Find.. Cozumel - Paradise !
, Jan 2020
This is a beautiful place, and unlike others, they give you UNLIMITED food and drinks. The Coconut Shrimp is the BEST.. Must try the "Dirty Monkey" also. It has got to be professionally landscaped to get this beautiful setting... Ocean or Pool, the service is the best.. THANKS to Ferdinand and Francisco, (Paco).. Ask for them, they are the best... Can't say enough, we have been to Mia, Sancho's, Uvas, etc... Don't miss Paradise!!! (Don't know why Viator will not allow me to post pictures.. You must see this place.)
I went twice as the pool is nice and heated and didnt realize that most hotels dont and they are freezing! Great food and drinks! Gets a little crowded with cruise ships so get there by 10 for choice seats.
Our family of 5 (2 adults, 1 teen, and 2 children) had a blast here off of our cruise ship. The food and drinks were amazing and the staff was extremely attentive. Plenty of fun for the kids and the pool was beautiful. Restrooms were very clean and well maintained. Not crowded at all and despite the few rain showers, we had a great time. I highly recommend this excursion!!
One ticket grants access to a day full of fun with this all-inclusive pass to Paradise Beach. Play all day in an inflatable water park, head out on kayaks or paddleboards, or take a peek underwater using included snorkeling gear. Fuel your full day of fun with unlimited drinks and food from either of the two restaurants, or chair-side service.
Had a fantastic time at the Tequila Factory, then we toured around the island and visited 3 beaches and snorkeled and had lunch at the last "beach". Dipped in a really cool "black" swimming pool. Perfect way to enjoy Cozumel!

Priority Access: Xcaret Park Day Trip with Transportation
, Nov 2019
our tour guy Juan Pablo was very informative they arrived on time for the pick up. On the bus they explained everything in detail to us, we were amazed how everything was so organized, easy to display around everything has numbers so you cant get lost. The buffet was amazing go to Laguna Buffet you will enjoy it believe me. We took the bus way back earlier and we have no problems getting back into our hotel. Me and my husband had a great experience, will come back with family and friends.
This tour company is very well organized. Everyone was brought to the same place and then separated into tours from there so everyone on our bus was going to Xcaret. Once there, our guide was so helpful to get everyone organized. There is much to see and do once at Xcaret and the night show was fantastic. I would pay the extra money to get the plus adventure so you can have a locker. This is a full day tour, we did not get back to our hotel until 11:00 pm.
Escape for the day to Xcaret, Mexico's ecological and archeology park located in Riviera Maya. On this full-day trip from Cancun to Xcaret, swim in a lagoon, snorkel in the clear aqua waters of the Caribbean, and discover a network of subterranean rivers. Watch for monkeys, birdlife, and butterflies as you stroll through the jungle at Xcaret and take tours of the ancient Mayan archaeological sites. After the sun sets, enjoy folkloric entertainment that highlights the ancient Mayan culture around Cancun, Mexico. This Xcaret outing includes pickup and drop-off at most hotels in Cancun.
Cozumel Catamaran Sail and Snorkel with Open bar & Lunch
, Feb 2020
Very friendly staff! Although it took a bit to get out of the cruise port, it is not their fault. Once we found our destination it was smooth sailing.
The catamaran was absolutely beautiful - more than we expected! There was only 8 people on the excursion we did which we absolutely loved! More opportunity for a personalized experience. Although it was somewhat rough, so we didn't see much besides fish. Again - not their fault!
The resort and lunch that was provided was absolutely astonishing. I could not believe how beautiful and delicious everything was! The drinks were flowing after the snorkeling portion. There was not one time where we reached the bottom of our glasses. The staff were so quick to help out it was amazing.
This was a super fun tour. It gave us a chance to snorkel as well as jump off the boat at a second location just to swim in the crystal clear aqua waters. The crew was fun and friendly and catered to our every need. The only slight negative would be the food. It was so-so. It wasn’t what I would call authentic Mexican cuisine. Basically a sandwich and pasta salad. All in all we enjoyed the tour and would do it again.
Tour was located walking distance from our pier, so that was a plus. Catamaran was comfortable and there were only about 20 passengers. Fernando and his crew were great. First stop was snorkeling at a marine preserve. There were tons of fish. Snorkeled about 45 minutes, then cruised along the coast of Cozumel and stopped to relax or swim. Very nice day.
Get yourself in the mood for fun in this guided Catamaran and snorkel trip. Open bar and Lunch are included as well as snorkel gear, you just need to enjoy the smooth ride.
Your Captain will sail away while you watch spectacular coastal views of the Caribbean taking you an amazing reef to get your snorkel adventure started.
Spotted moray eels, trunkfish and amazing coral formations may be seen while snorkeling.
If you’re not a snorkeler, stay aboard and feel the sun on your skin, relax, listen to music and refresh with the ice-cold drinks from the Open bar and savor the delicious snacks and lunch included in this fun cozumel catamaran tour.
This Cozumel shore excursion begins very close to main cruise ports and guarantees a day o fun for friends, families and everyone!
We really enjoyed this underground river tour of the cave. It was a very interesting experience for all of us, including our daughter. The provided gear was in good shape, knowledgeable guide and decent pictures available for purchase. The swimming portion of the tour was brief and water was ~5' deep. The food provided was homemade sandwich and muffin - heavy on the bread, light on everything else. Plenty of COLD bottled water provided. Accommodations at the park were minimal but sufficient. Overall the experience was very enjoyable and we are happy that we went.
Mexico is famous for its many stunning cenotes and the Sac Actun system on the Mayan Riviera is one of the best preserved. Spend the day swimming and snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters of the cenote, exploring the chamber systems with their natural rock formations, and learning about the ancient Mayan civilization. Refuel with light snacks and refreshments before concluding the tour.
This all-inclusive pass to Paradise Beach lets you hang out all day at one of Cozumel’s best beach clubs. Lounge on chairs shaded by palm trees, grab lunch at an onsite restaurant or have lunch served to you on the beach, and drink your fill of domestic liquors, beers, and soft drinks from the open bar. It’s the perfect beach day—no planning required.

From $78.00 (Price varies by group size )
Great island tour
, Feb 2020
Ernie was a fantastic guide. He took us around a pre-planned excursion. Our favorite was the Big Sur Eco Park. Ernie was able to give us a great deal of information about the park and the wildlife. The reason for 4 stars was the lunch. We could choose from 2 places with a limited menu and no drink (even water) included. I would prefer they don’t “include lunch” in the price you pay up front, and tell you you’ll get a lunch stop that you are responsible for. It was not the authentic local food I was looking forward to-more like a tourist beach bar. Other than that, the day was fantastic! I would highly recommend the trip to anyone wanting to see a little more of the island.
It was a bit tricky to find out the departure time and place but it worked out and Maria our guide was great. She was a very nice person and told us a lot of interesting things. We could drive the jeep which was also fun. Can recommend the tour.
Alice was great. The tour was informative and fun. Just enough time at each stop. In particular, the tequila stop was at a family producer which we enjoyed more than touring a large facility. Highly recommend this tour!
Explore Cozumel on an all-inclusive, half-day private Jeep tour. Design an itinerary that suits your interests, then relax and let your driver-guide chauffeur you to all the area’s highlights. Visit Punta Sur Ecological Park, snorkel among tropical fish and colorful reefs, wind your way through hidden caves, and even take an adventurous turn behind the wheel. Enjoy lunch, drinks, and pickup and drop-off included in the tour price.
"First Lady" Private Marine Park Snorkel and El Cielo Sandbar Charter
From $499.00 per group
, Dec 2019
Boat trip was great. Crew was very friendly and tailored our trip to our family specific asks. Homemade guacamole and ceviche on the sand bar was a great way to top it off....along with the homemade margaritas of course!
Experience Cozumel’s natural beauty on this snorkeling adventure to El Cielo. Head out on a 29-foot (9-meter) offshore powerboat with twin 350 HP outboards, then dive in with complimentary snorkel gear and explore the Caribbean’s magical waters. Check out a protected cove, El Cielo, take an optional fishing excursion, and enjoy fresh fruit, chips, guacamole, and beer—they’re included in the tour price.
This off-roading adventure takes you deep into the heart of the Yucatan jungle via all-terrain vehicles. Climb in the ATV, which seats four, and take rugged trails to the Jade Caverns, a diverse ecosystem featuring a cenote with stalactite formations surrounded by tropical plants. Relax, swim, or simply take in the nature’s handiwork before another thrilling ride back to town.
This was a great day. I was so concerned about my adult son in a wheel chair but Hernan and Rudy were so great I knew he was in great hands. They anticipated all our needs and were so gracious about it!
Check out Cozumel sights from the seat of a rugged buggy that easily handles the terrain's twists and turns. Head to the El Cedral ruins for a chance to learn about the area's strong Maya heritage, and then zoom to the waterfront to snorkel in Arrecifes de Cozumel National Park and SkyReef. Stop in between to chow down on an included Mexican-style lunch.
Rodrigo was our guide and did an awesome job throughout the duration of the excursion. He was great during the drive, teaching us about the area and taking a lot of photos of our group as needed. The ruins were a whole other experience, unlike anything we had ever done though. Incredible history and views off the ocean. A legitimate 10 out of 10 from our group for this excursion.
The tour was good, a great place to learn about Mayan history. However, this tour should not be taken when on a cruise ship docked in Cozumel. The ride going and coming was longer than the actual time spent in Tulum. Our guide Edgar, was informative and tried to keep a very diversified group together. Would like to have had more beach time.
Our tour leader met us as scheduled and escorted us on the ferry to the mainland and took us on an air conditioned van to Tulum and provided an experienced guide there. Out tour leader escorted us back to Cancun. Very pleasant guides! there were only 4 people in our tour.
Immerse yourself in the Mayan culture of the Tulum ruins on this guided tour. Round-trip transportation, including a ferry trip, are included as well as admission; all details are taken care of for you and you just need to enjoy the experience. After the tour of the ruins with a certified federal guide, spend time enjoying the beach and the waves.
We had a great time at Chankanaab Park when we stopped in Cozumel on our cruise. There was lots to do for our entire family. The snorkelling wasn't the best as the reef has been really damaged and the water was really choppy so it made it hard for the kids to snorkel. The younger ones enjoyed the pool. Lots of beach chairs and shaded area. This excursion came with lunch at the main restaurant - I wouldn't recommended eating there. It wasn't that good and a few of us ended up in the bathroom almost immediately after. It's important to note that this package doesn't include transportation from the cruise port - taxi's cost us over $50 round trip for a family of seven. It also doesn't include an additional $5 per person entry fee - so that was an additional $35 as well. Just things to take into consideration. Overall, we enjoyed our day there and it was a fun family outing.
Aside from the Marine Park Fee that is NOT included in the "ALL Inclusive Package" everything went smooth. The attendants at the park were courteous and easy to communicate with. The buffet food was good. The facility is very clean. My 2 kids enjoyed snorkeling and we felt safe in the waters. All in all it was a wonderful day at Chakanaab.
Discover the white-sand beaches, magnificent reef, and amusement-park-style attractions of Chankanaab Beach Adventure Park on a tour that includes snorkeling and lunch. The tropical wonderland offers nature walks, crocodile exhibits, and sea lion shows, giving nature lovers and families a chance to get to see wildlife up close. Plus, a sandy beach and playground make the park perfect of children—many other beaches in Cozumel are not kid-friendly.
Tour guides Pedro and Omar were wonderful! The weather was no good, so snorkeling had to be cancelled but that was out of their control. Was this truly an ATV ride through the jungle of Cozumel? No, not really. But it was some off roading and it was a blast. Super fun! I would recommend to any family looking to have a fun time! They do stop at a Tequileria to try to sell you some tequila but just go with it, no one is pushy. Everyone is polite!
This excursion is worth the money. The excursion was personal as we were the only ones in the group so we had a personal tour guide. Francisco our tour guide was friendly. We ATV'd through the streets and country roads of Cozumel. Then a nice tequila tour followed by some time at a private beach club. It was all very nice. Me any my daughters ages 19 and 30 enjoyed it very much.
Explore Cozumel on an all-terrain vehicle. First, hit the city streets as you explore downtown, make a stop a a tequila factory, and do a little off-roading. Then, return to the beach club where you can use the facilities for as long as you please. Snorkel along the reef and see diverse marine life. Grab a lounge chair, hammock, or slice of beach and take in the beauty of the Caribbean Sea. A bilingual guide and all equipment is included.
My son and I had an amazing time enjoying the winds while sailing and seeing the fish swimming around the reef. Thank you so much for the safety tips and all the small details to make sure we all had a fantastic time. Snorkeling and sailing has opened up a new world for us.
Incredible morning on Cozumel reef with great staff
, Nov 2019
This tour was a highlight of our time in Playa Del Carmen. We found our way to the Marina very easily getting the ferry from Playa.
The staff had a great focus on safety and taught us all some great snorkelling skills, we saw plenty of coral and fish and loved lazing on the catamaran whilst enjoying margaritas and chips & guacamole!
The staff were also brilliant!
Explore Cozumel's reefs via catamaran on this half-day snorkeling tour. Dive in to get clear views of marine life at a gorgeous snorkel stop where you'll swim with a guide, then refuel with beverages and snacks on board the boat. Use of snorkel equipment included.
This tour is worth it. It takes you to 4 different cenotes and each one has a different activity. Full of fun and adventure. You will be in a swimsuit all day. Bring swim shoes - flip flops will not cut it. Also bring a waterproof case for your cell phone if you want to take photos - they also sell them prior to the tour if you forget. This is the only tour we did and we did not regret it!
Best day ever! Noe was an amazing tour guide and made the trip so much fun. Picnic lunch was excellent. A buffet or bread, meats, cheese and salad. No shortage of beer, wine, soft drinks or water either! Couldn't fault this trip. Worth every penny! Professional photos were great too. Uriel our photographer was fantastic. Water shoes are a must!
Explore the Yucatan jungle's flooded sinkholes, or cenotes, during this full-day guided eco-adventure. Paddle through the underground caverns on kayaks, snorkel in the subterranean aquatic habitats and float on the azure water on inner tubes. Listen as your guide recounts Mayan folktales about mythical guardians that protect these sacred water sources. This small-group tour, limited to 19 people, includes snacks, a gourmet picnic lunch, and round-trip hotel transportation.
Treat yourself to a fabulous on-the-water experience from Cozumel. This catamaran sailing experience tour gives you the chance to explore and admire the wildlife of Passion Island, enjoy on-board service that includes a complete lunch, with fresh fruits, rhum punch & margaritas (you are also welcome to bring your own alcohol), and soft drinks. You can snorkel or do paddle board, or just relax on the beach. You will sail for about 2 hours (1 hour to go/1hour to come back), stay up to 2,5 hours on the beach of Passion Island, and at the end you can do snorkeling on the way back for about 30 minutes.
And we can always accomodate people or groups for a late departure, if you are alone you can decide to do more snorkeling, and the captain will fallow your needs.
*After your booking please confirm the departure point and boat.
We had such a great time! The guys who are the chefs and his helpers were fun! The food was amazing, very informative and delicious. I think that you get a great value for what you pay. I would recommend it to anyone. We liked it so much that I’m taking my sister and her family next week. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed it!
We have been to the Original Mexican Cooking Class a number of times on previous cruises and were very excited to take my mother and brother. The experience was every bit as good this time as it was in the past. They are doing some renovation work, so the cooking was outside as opposed to the normal location, but that did not prevent us from having a very fun experience.
The food is very tasty and the chefs are just fun to be around and they love to interact and keep the mood light. Love this place and will certainly return.
Spend a day at Playa Mia Grand Beach and Water Park, then prepare a three-course Mexican meal with a resort chef. The water park features an underwater Maya city, games, water activities, and plenty of space to play and relax in the sunshine. You’ll have all day access to the park, with multiple class times throughout the day, a three-course meal with an open bar, and round-trip transport from your Cozumel hotel or port.
Customize your own itinerary on this private dune buggy tour of Cozumel. Enjoy personalized attention from your guide and the ability to travel through Cozumel's rugged terrain at your own pace. Choose to drive yourself or just let the guide take the wheel if you'd like to enjoy the scenery. Beach club access, as well as lunch, refreshments, and use of snorkeling gear are included.
Gerry did a great job showing us around the island. Since we were solo he allowed us to set the pace and destinations. He was extremely knowledgeable about the area and history, and seemed well connected to the community.
Would highly recommend.
My wife & I really enjoyed our 5 hour Private Tour of Cozumel. Our Driver & Tour Guide was Gerry (Geraldo) who met us at the International Dock. Gerry drove a very clean, 4-door Cab. I'm 6'2" but the Cab had plenty of leg room. My wife uses a Lightweight Transfer-type wheel chair which we brought and Gerry was very attentive in loading and unloading the wheel chair and insuring that all of the places that we visited were wheelchair accessible. Gerry drove us all around the Island pointing out all of the significant landmarks. He spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable of Cozumel and its history. We visited a small family run Chocolate Factory and got to sample over 25 different chocolates that they made. It was a marvelous tour lasting over 45 minutes. Next we stopped at the Mayan Village in which there were over 12 actors in colorful Mayan costumes who reenacted what life might have been like in the days of the Mayans. We were guided through the Village by Belam (The Jaguar) and each of the actors worked extremely hard to entertain and educate us. Next Gerry took us to a Tequila Tasting Tour and we got to sample 6 different grades of Tequila as well as a delicious Margarita. We didn't buy any of their Tequila and the Guide was very understanding and did not pressure us to do so. Finally, Gerry drove us along the Wild East side of the Island and we stopped at a beautiful natural formation of a Coral Bridge. The day flew by and both my wife and I really enjoyed the tour with Geraldo. He is the BEST!
With your select group of family and friends, get to know Cozumel on a private shore excursion. In addition to learning about the island’s history, see how people and local industries there operate today. Visit the San Gervasio Mayan ruins as well as a chocolate factory, and enjoy a tequila tasting. Snorkel and relax at Palancar beach. Experience some of the best of what Cozumel has to offer, without having to follow a rigid schedule. Port/ferry pier pickup and drop-off included.
Just got off and had a good time! Husband went snorkeling and loved it. Kids and I stayed on boat but loved the beautiful blue water, coral and fish- we could see everything. Fishing was disappointing. My kids enjoy fishing and it’s not the typical “fishing” we are use to - there was no control and not mich to do- which I loved but the kids love the thrill of “doing it.” Guacamole was awesome. Drinks were ok- bring your own as no beer and little variety.
Customize your time on the water off Cozumel with this private boat charter. Choose where you'd like the captain to take you (depending on conditions and weather) and if you'd like to focus on beach-hopping, snorkeling, fishing, or just hanging out. Scuba diving is welcome for certified scuba divers only. All equipment for water sports included, as well as beer, nonalcoholic beverages, and snacks.
The site is spectacular and worth the visit. That's the positives. Neg; starts late at 11am, lunch not served until 3pm. Starting point maybe far from ships and may require a taxi ride.
Note: water is provided and there is a lot of walking.
great service by viator , and all staff that help me with my issue. This is one of the best tours I've ever been on! Not just because of the experience and the beauty, but our tour guide was amazing! It makes a huge difference to go with a small group. You learn more and really get a full experience and history of the Ecosystem.
