We visited Fiji in December unfortunately whilst cyclone sarai hit.. We only had 8 days on the island three of which were spent in doors. I am so glad we had booked malamala for our new years day it was the best decision. The island is pristine, beautiful view of the other manamuca islands and there was plenty to do from paddle boarding, kayaking, snorkeling, volley ball as well as just taking leisurey walks around the island which you can do in around 15 minutes. The food and drink is a little on the pricey side but we didn't really mind paying the extra after all it was new year's day and the views and activities were totally worth it!
Relax on a private island with this day pass to Malamala Beach Club. Depart from Port Denarau as you enjoy a brief ferry transfer across crystal clear water. Spend a full day doing whatever you want to do while you're there, including the use of non-motorized water sports equipment or indulge in chef-made poolside snacks with a selection of cocktails, wines, and beer (own expense).
Mud Pool Tour with Garden of the Sleeping Giant Visit from Nadi
Cultural and unique
, Aug 2019
If you like history and culture, you will enjoy the visit to the temple and markets, as well as the tour of nadi. We were provided free coverups for the temple so you can dress as you wish for the tour. The gardens were beautiful and we were provided with free fruit drinks and insect repellant. For me the highlight was the mud pools and hot spring, which was a unique and fun experience. Our driver even offered to take photos from our phones while we had muddy hands.

It was a great experience snorkeling and diving with reef sharks. Not dangerous at all. Snorkeling probably was better than diving as sharks come up to the surface and you can almost touch them. Highly recommend it to anyone wanting a great day cruise.

Sabeto Mudpool Hot Spring & Garden of Sleeping Giant Tour
Didn't get our monies worth
, Dec 2019
We booked this tour one day before the start of a cyclone. We called up to check if it was still running & Xplore Fiji said it was, but they had no idea the Garden of Sleeping Giant was closed for the day & so we drove there only to find the gates shut. So we spent our time only at the mudpool, this was fine but when I emailed the company about returning the money for the cancelled part of the trip they never replied... which I don't find professional. I've emailed other questions I had prior to tour & their responce time is just so delayed it makes it a bit frustrating.

Small-Group Hiking Adventure Including Lunch with a Local Family from Nadi
The hike is good. Ray is great
, Oct 2019
The hike was a good time. It's a bit of a drive but it's nice to get away and feel like you are in "Fiji" and not just a tourist area. The park was beautiful and the waterfall, while it won't blow you away, was a cool spot and a good point to take a break, dip in the (chilly) water, and head back. Ray is a great guide and we learned a lot about different plants and their uses as well as just some history and some every day facts and ideas about Fijians. The only disappointment was that since we went on a Monday, the village chief told the guide that we wouldn't be able to do a lunch because most of the women were away to the markets and their food supply was short after the weekend. So a bit of a bummer that we didn't get to see more of the village and taste some home cooked food as well as have the kava ceremony. Ray did end up taking us to Tu's Place though which is a fantastic restaurant and listed on all Fiji top restaurant lists. So we did still have an amazing meal and got to talk with Ray a bit more. There were only 4 of us (plus Ray) on the hike so it was a very small group which made it that much better.
