Glacial ice caves are a beautiful natural creation and a must-see when visiting the south of Iceland. We take small groups of people on personalised trips into an ice cave which is located in Skaftafell. We provide you with the necessary glacier and safety equipment, then we will walk for about 20 minutes to the front of the glacier, which is where we strap our crampons onto our boots. Once our crampons are on we walk up to the ice cave and spend as much time as you would like in the cave taking pictures and admiring the inside of the glacial ice. Once we have been to the cave we then go and explore further up the glacier where we will encounter the amazing blue colour of the ice and its impressive features. We will complete a loop on the glacier and then return back to where we started from.
