Perito Moreno is not just a glacier, it’s the glacier. All throughout South America, when you talk about glaciers, this one is the behemoth on everyone’s list. At the face, the glacier is three miles wide, 200 feet high. Although it is not clear ...

What an amazing experience. Breath taking at every moment. There is no more beautiful place in the world than the Perito Moreno Glacier. I wish I could capture the sounds of the glacier in my photos. A must for anyone visiting El Calafate. I still can't believe I actually hiked in the glacier. I'm not very fit and was worried but it was no problem. Tip: bring hiking boots and gloves as gym shoes hurt in crampons and gloves are required. The tour guides were knowledgeable and friendly without getting in the way of a true experience. Would love a repeat of this tour!

The Perito Moreno Glacier is like the Grand Canyon- photos don't do it justice. You have to experience it in person to fathom the size and beauty of it. Our guides were multilingual, really friendly, and highly expert. 1.5 hours walking the glacier was just right. At the end of the walk we were surprised with free whisky and alfajores, which was a really nice treat.

Highly recommend this excursion if you're visiting El Cafate and the Perito Moreno glacier. The hike on the glacier is of low to moderate difficulty. Once you don the crampons and climb the icy mountain, you are rewarded with amazing sights including icy blue crevices and sinkholes, ice towers, and more.

In all instances, the guides were prompt, and knowledgeable. The walks around Perito Moreno Glacier were wonderful. Although the trip started out cold and rainy, the optional day trip to Christina Estancia was amazing - the boat trip thru the icefields - never seen icebergs that blue and the views of the Upshala glacier and surrounding mountains and lakes after the 4x4 ride up were jaw-dropping gorgeous. My only minor complaints would be that you have to be prepared for long bus rides to all of the parks, and El Chalten is really for travelers desiring long challenging hiking.

A pretty good. Just like walking on a huge ice sheet really. Can get some mad photos though. If you do this tour I wouldn't bother doing the 1 day Perito Moreno Glacier trip as this tour covers that tour as well as the ice walk.

Most notably the Perito moreno is worth seeing, but organisation of the trip could stand to improve
