Loved the tour. But could have spent another hour there.
As Harry Potter fans - both books and movies - we enjoyed it very much. Warner Bros. had a lot of the original sets on display.
The gates, the costumes, the characters, the house on Privet Drive. Loved it. A must see for all Potter fans.
Wow!! Awesome time for a Harry Potter fan. I am a big fan and my husband just enjoys the movies but he truly had a great time looking at all the props and reading about the special effects, etc. Whether you are a Potterhead or just enjoy the entertainment, don't miss this tour. Worth every penny. I think I would have to revisit because there is so much to see....
First class experience all the way! Bypass the line and straight into the magical World of Harry Potter! Such a special place to see and it more than lived up to all of my expectations. Feel like I stepped into the pages of HP books and scenes from all of the great HP movies! Thank you Warner Brothers for preserving all of the wonderful bits of Harry Potter for all of us to see! Fantastic tour that I will do again!!!
From meeting point to tour completion the day was very enjoyable. Loretta ran our tour at the studios and she was knowledgeable and presented an enjoyable tour. This tour is a must do on the itinerary.
The tour was an amazing experience. Only complaint was we only had about 2 1/2 hours to complete tour as bus left at 5.15.
Great tour, definitely take the earliest spot available. We got there in under an hour, but then waited on line to enter for close to an hour just to get inside. Walked through to the first spot on the tour around 10am and had to be back on the bus by 1:15pm. You need the full 3 hours to see it all, especially if you want to do the 'extra special' things like riding a broomstick, etc those cost extra . We rushed through a lot of it so we would have enough time in the gift shop. If you ask, they will give you the tax free form so you can reclaim your VAT on large purchases. Also if you ask at the information desk and be nice to them, they will give you extra goodies for free buttons, postcards, etc. We left with 2 complete sets of house buttons, 2 replica letters addressed to Harry from when he was accepted at Hogwarts, and a bunch of his name cards from the Goblet of Fire movie when it spits out of the goblet - for free! Don't be late to the bus, we left a family behind who couldn't be located and they had to find their own way back to central London.
Well it was amazing. You arrive ahead of your ticket time, but get into the outside security line right away, since it will take a while to get through it and then the actual entrance line. There is so much to see it's just packed with sets and props. I really enjoyed the tour and the bus from London was very handy.
This tour was amazing!
Words cannot even express how incredible this tour was. So much fun and whimsy for people of all ages.
A MUST FOR POTTER FANS
If you even mildly enjoyed any of the Harry Potter movies, you should visit. If you, like most people, are a huge fan of the series you must turn this into a pilgrimage. You will be blown. a. way!
If you are anything like me and a Harry Potter fan, visiting the Studio and the making of Harry Potter is without hesitation essential. The studio from central London isn't the easiest to get if you don't have a car, so this excursion is one option. After about an hour's drive depending on traffic you arrive at the Studio's. Our driver did give us an interesting narrative of places in London as we were leaving and I did learn one or two new things and also saw a few things I'd never seen in London. Of the tour, I'd recommend you try and avoid peak times/seasons, I visited out of school holiday time and there was still a good 20 minute wait for queuing to get in, due to their staggered timing. This does eat into your allotted 3hrs to 3.5hrs there. There really is so much to see and do inside the studio and it is a fan's dream. Highlights inside are so many, I can't recommend this enough, it is one of the highlights of many London trips and different museum's / exhibitions I've done over the years. You get to see the great hall, Hogwarts express, costumes, props , the Knight Bus, you can try butterbeer etc etc. To be honest 3hrs is just not enough. There are many photo opportunities. The shop can be viewed as pricey, but hey if you are a HP fan, you won't mind too much, its not like you would be visiting and buying from it everyday. If you are a fan, this will be a heavenly, out of the world tour, especially if you get the fullest time there and you aren't rushed.
If you are Harry Potter fan, this is a must.
Una experiencia muy agradable para fans de Harry Potter.
Amazing!! It was like walking through the books!
Knowledgable guide, loved it. Abreast day!
Outstanding experienced. Excellent coach for transfer and tour unbelievable. Enjoyed by all family members.
Parfait !... Mon petit fils était aux anges. Cette visite est aussi agréable pour des adultes qui, comme moi, n'ont pas lu un seul livre ni vu un film Harry Potter. Organisation parfaite
Enjoyed this tour with john as our guide. My daughter 7 has already spotted where we stood near Scotland yard and said, we stood there! I know I could have walked around the sites myself, but it was more fun to have john as our guide and hear lots of interesting nuggets about harry potter and London. Thanks :
Doing what: London Harry Potter Walking Tour
This was one of the highlights of our vacation. As hard core Harry Potter fans, this was an awesome experience....so much to see and so little time! That would be our only complaint....we really needed more than 3 hours to tour the studio and see everything...an extra hour would have been great! If you love Harry Potter, don't miss this tour!
The tour was a wonderful experience. Make this a must see on your next visit to
