Verde Canyon Railroad's Uncorked Wine Festival is a springtime celebration. The event features the selection of wines from all over the world and it’s a party on the depot patio from 11:00am-12:45pm, prior to the train’s departure. This package offers a tasting of select wines (4 tastes) at the beverage bar on the depot's patio prior to boarding the train, your choice of lunch at our Copper Spike Cafe, and includes a souvenir wine glass etched with the train's logo. Additional wine may be purchased by the bottle on board the train.

We stop at numerous viewpoints throughout the park, and use a high-powered spotting scope to show our guests up-close views of the Colorado River, whitewater rapids, rock formations, mules, hikers, and wildlife. Your guide will interpret what you are seeing, as well as the geology, history, and native people of the region. We take you to our favorite viewpoints while avoiding the crowds as much as possible! For lunch, guests have the option of a sit-down lunch at the historic El Tovar Dining Room, or a picnic-style lunch provided by Wildflower Bread Company. Lunch is included in the price of the tour. Guests travel with their guide from Flagstaff to Page, AZ for a full day exploring two of the most picturesque places in the Southwest! Once in Page, guests stop at Horseshoe Bend, where they may walk down to see the stunning view of the Colorado River! The walk from the parking lot to the overlook is 3/4 of a mile each way (1.5 miles round-trip to and from the vehicle). Lunch is at a local restaurant in Page, and included in the price of the tour. Specialty snacks and drinks are provided in the vehicle throughout the day. After lunch, you will travel to Lower Antelope Canyon where a local native Navajo guide will walk you through the slot canyon. The Antelope Canyon portion of the tour normally lasts 60-90 minutes. Lower Antelope Canyon is known for its incredible rock formations and abundant colors. Each room is different, and has a stunning 360 degree view. It is the most photographed slot canyon in the world! For this tour, guests must be able to walk on uneven ground.
