Constanza made Firenze come alive for us ..... even in pouring rain . She managed a diverse group and all of us felt acknowledged and attended to . Her knowledge of art and Firenze itself was outstanding and grew our appreciation grow even deeper . We all touched "the pig " so will be back .... Grazie Constanza
I came to Florence after hearing such great things from my coworkers about the beautiful art, history, and food culture. With a recommendation to see the David, I found this tour. I arrived to the meetup point, which was easy to find. A few tour staffers provided headsets for us to hear our guide as the places we would visit tended to be on the noisier side. In hindsight, this was a wonderful touch because I underestimated exactly how busy some of our stops would be. Angelo Alterio, our guide, took us through Florence to many popular places before we stopped at the Galleria dell’Accademia, which houses the statue of David. Getting into the museum was a breeze with our skip the line tickets. I went in October and the line was still halfway down the street! Once we were in, Angelo provided a very thorough background of the historical period in which Michelangelo carved the David as a way to give us the necessary context for why the statue was/is so important. It was breathtaking. After our stop there, we visited other Florentine highlights. I learned so much and each place was equally instagrammable. Upon completion of the tour, Angelo chatted with us about the city and even offered suggestions for places to eat that were less touristy. What a gem. He is great! Recommend for anyone who wants to get a full view of Florence in a few hours. This really helped me figure out where I wanted to spend lots of time for the rest of my vacation.

Florence with Marilena
, Feb 2020
Marilena was our guide and we appreciated her informative and fascinating narrative. She helped us see differences in the arts depending on the time frame and truly helped us appreciate the wonderful art we were seeing. On the way to Uffizi, we stopped at the Medici home and admired the villa. She told us that a 12 year old Michelangelo was “discovered” and brought to live here for a few years! I would highly recommend her tour!
Our guide was amazing! We are people who don’t know much about art but She explained every little detail to us. From the stunning statue of David to the intricate paintings in the Uffizi, with this tour we truly experienced everything!
Missed the tour in the morning to see David! But did the afternoon tour~
, Jan 2020
We missed the morning tour by 5 mins as we got delayed getting across town to the Accademia! Had to get a refund on the tour! The afternoon tour with Angelo for the Uffizi was very entertaining! Even my 16 year old had fun!

If you don't have the Duomo on your list of places to visit then you really need to put it on. Upon first seeing the outside it really takes your breath away. Our only negative was that the meeting place was a little hard to find. Once we started we had our headphones and our guide was great. The headphones did cut out a little bit at times but you were able to hear most of it. You skip the line which was great and see the inside of the base. Be prepared to climb a lot of stairs but the view is worth it up the top. A truly amazing experience.

We were lucky enough to have a really excellent guide, Leonardo, who was very clear, knowledgable and easy to understand, and pitched his descriptions at the right level. The best of the many guides we've had in Italy so far
Great tour to re one t with Renaissance Art and hisotry
, Nov 2019
Tour guide was passionate about the major paintings in the Uffizi and brought to live the history and society behind the Major art works. The 2 hour length was just enough to not overwhelm our small group
We definitely wanted to see this fantastic art museum while in Florence. And we were so glad we did it with an early access skip the lines tour, before the museum was too crowded to fully enjoy. Excellent guide. Really knew his stuff. Really felt we got the highlights in a most interesting way. Highly recommend this tour.

Skip the Line: Florence Accademia and Uffizi Gallery Small Group Tour
, Feb 2020
These were the best guided tours that I have been on. The guides were easily understood and their knowledge was excellent. They were very enthusiastic and energetic and kept me very interested in their information.
Our tour guide was fantastic and engaging. We did the tour that included a traditional Tuscan lunch and it didn't disappoint. It was delicious authentic Italian fare. The first part of the tour which included a the Galleria Dell'Accademia to see Michelangelo's "David" was the best part. Our tour guide gave us great information on the history surrounding the Renaissance era. This was the highlight of my vacation.

Highly recommend! Our tour guide was absolutely awesome - she was extremely knowledgeable and helped to explain everything we didn’t understand. She was able to answer all of our questions and taught us a lot about Florence’s history - not just the Duomo. She took us to amazing sights in the complex that we would’ve missed otherwise. Was a major highlight of our entire Europe holiday!

Be rewarded by panoramic views of Florence. Skip-the-line admission includes a guided tour of the cathedral and crypt.
A great day out of Florence. Cortona was a nice town but the visit was too short but understandable as we were heading to Assisi. What a wonderful town it is, the history and sights were outstanding. We had a some free time to enjoy a small lunch, a coffee and a wander around the town. A guided tour through the town and the Cathedral were great. In fact i could spend a whole day in this lovely town.
Take a day trip to Assisi and Cortona and discover these charming hilltop towns alongside a guide. Departing from Florence, travel first to Assisi, where you visit the Convent of Santa Chiara, the Basilica of San Francesco, and hear about the life of St. Francis of Assisi. Pause for a peek inside Santa Maria degli Angeli church, believed to be a favorite spot of St. Francis. Then head to Cortona for some time to explore independently before returning to Florence.
During the week that we visited Florence the Accademia was free to the public but closed to tour guides. As a result, our combined Uffizi and Accademia Walking Tour had to be limited to the Uffizi. Fortunately our tour guide did such an excellent job that our disappointment was minimal. His history training was apparent as he responded early on to a question from a member of our group and seeing our response, he decided to orient the tour accordingly. The examples he showed us in numerous paintings and the historical connections clearly demonstrated for us the transitions from medieval to Renaissance art. His explanations of the original building added to our enjoyment. All in all, it was a wonderful morning.
Excellent tour -- just the right amount of people in the group, length of time of tour and information provided!
, Oct 2019
Our small group tour of the Uffizi and Accademia was exactly what we had hoped for. Our tour guide, Francesca, was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable about Florence, the two museums we visited and the art we viewed there. We had 9 people in our group which helped to move through the very crowded museums. Having skip the line access was absolutely essential to avoid a very long wait in the lines that formed outside the museums. It was also very helpful to have earphones to hear our tour guide so that while she was telling us about a particular painting, we could walk around the room and look at other pieces of art but still hear what she had to say. It was also crucial to have a well informed guide who could point out the most prominent pieces at the museum as there is a lot to see. Francesca also provided us with the history and other information about Florence as we walked between the museums. I highly recommend this tour, especially if you are lucky and get Francesca as your tour guide!

David & Accademia Gallery Tour - Florence (Reserved Entrance)
, Jan 2020
The company and the guide were very easy and helpful to work with. Super convenient location right across the street from the gallery. The tour guide was clearly very passionate about Michelangelo, which at first was impressive and interesting, but turned into her rambling about the works and life of Michelangelo for an hour and became super boring. We wandered away from her tour after 30 minutes of lecturing. I would recommend this tour just to skip the hours long line and to get into the door.
It was great meeting the David and other Michelangelo’s sculptures with the expert guidance of Stefano, who was very generous sharing the detailed history of this great symbol of renaissance craftsmanship, artistic genius and everlasting modernity.

Florence Full Day Tour with David, Duomo, Uffizi, Ponte Vecchio and More
Fabulous day with Constanza
, Jan 2020
My husband and I had a wonderful day touring the city with Costanza Barlondi. She was extremely knowledgeable, patient, interesting, and seemed to know the answer to all of our questions, regardless of the topic! Because our group was small, it felt very personalized and we could take our time and learn about each of the sites we were visiting. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to hit all of the "must sees" in Florence.
We had Francesca as our guide, she may be small in stature but was very knowledgeable in Florentine history and local cuisine. The tour at the Accademia was great, we were shown a few interesting pieces before seeing the David. We then made our way to the Duomo where a brief history lesson was given on the construction of the baptistry, tower and cathedral. Next up was the famous pig market, followed by the Vecchio palace before ending on ponte Vecchio. After the lunch break, we visited the Uffizi gallery for the afternoon. We were shown many great pieces before the tour ended at 4pm. As the Uffizi is so big, we were free to see the rest of the gallery at our own leisure after the tour ended. A wonderful day overall
Maximize time in Florence with a full-day tour that includes several top landmarks. Visit the Accademia Gallery to see Michelangelo’s statue of David, the colorful Duomo of Florence, and the Uffizi Gallery with masterpieces by Leonardo da Vinci and Caravaggio. Stroll across the Ponte Vecchio bridge, taste traditional gelato, and enjoy free time to relax over lunch.
Semi Private Uffizi Gallery Guided Tour with Skip-the-Line
, Jan 2020
Frederica was out tour guide for the Uffizi, and she provided a comprehensive historical, social, and political context to the artwork at the Uffizi. She was also able to answer the many questions her group had about other works that were not on the tour. I highly recommend getting a tour.
This tour is a must in Florence. You have to visit the uffizi gallery at least once in your life.. this is my second time here and I’m glad I did.. we decided to book this tour to see the works if michaelangelo, Botticelli etc.. ow I get to have more time to enjoy the Renaissance paintings.. our guide was very smart and informative.. he knows all the history and it’s amazing to learn everything that he said.. this tour made it more likable because of our guide (I forgot his name but he we did it Nov , 2018 2 8:30 am tour) thanks to you.. I recommend this game this tour to everyone, if you want to get on the museum easily, take this tour or you will be stuck in the line for hours ..
This tour does not include EVERYTHING to see in the Uffizi, that would take days, but what it did include were highlights and what amounted to a class into the evolution, birth and flowering of the Renaissance. By showing paintings and sculpture in chronological order, it was so much easier to absorb and understand the subtle changes over time. Our guide was deeply versed in the subject matter and explained everything beautifully as we went from gallery to gallery. It was a GREAT tour, which we highly recommend.
Avoid the long lines at the Uffizi Gallery in Florence with this skip-the-line ticket and guided tour. Led by an expert art guide, you’ll head straight inside upon your arrival and discover the masterpieces of this expansive museum. Fantastic tour !! Virginia knows it all about Florence. She is very friendly an go above and beyond to make the tour to fit your needs. She even researched the location that are mentioned in Dan Brown's inferno to show me the places. I highly recommend her. Worth every dime that you pay for the tour.
Even though we’ve visited Florence several times, our guide, Virginia, was very informative. She took us to places we’d never seen on previous visits, some we requested. Virginia also pointed out interesting facts about places we had visited. She was very knowledgeable. Great tour. We would highly recommend it and Virginia!
Great overview of Florence with our fun, friendly and informed tour guide -- Martina!
, Oct 2019
So glad we booked this private tour of Florence. We (three friends) visited in September and wanted a walking tour of Florence to give us a better idea of the city so that we were confident when we ventured off on our own. This tour was the perfect length (3 hours) and we covered a lot of the city on both sides of the Arno River. Our tour guide Martina was amazing -- very friendly, knowledgeable, patient (as we took a lot of pictures), spoke fluent English and helpful (gave us info on restaurants and shopping). We learned a ton about the history and sites of Florence and the little restaurant we stopped for wine and snacks (included in the tour fee) was adorable. I definitely recommend this tour and make sure to ask for Martina!!

The tour gave us the overview we needed of the layout of the gallery and the time progression through the rooms. This allowed us to explore later with confidence. Highly recommended.

Florence Sightseeing Walking Tour with a Local Guide
, Dec 2019
Had a nice tour with our guide. Very detailed and gave a thorough explanation of everything we were looking at. Saw pretty much all the highlights. She kept checking in with us to ensure we were good. Solid tour!
Our guide Daniel met us at the station and tailored our walk to our specific wants. Two hours probably wasn’t long enough but we were ready for a rest and enjoyed our lunch at a restaurant recommended by Daniel. An excellent and interesting tour.
This was amazing- exactly what we wanted. We did this tour shortly after we arrived in Florence. This gave us the opportunity to see how truly Florence is a walking city and what to expect and to make sure we didn't miss. We loved our tour guide, Alicea, she was very knowledge and fun! Thank you!
Florence is the birthplace of the Renaissance, but there’s so much to see, it’s hard to know where to start. This small-group walking tour is ideal for first-time visitors or those short on time, checking off top attractions such as the Cathedral, Palazzo Vecchio, Ponte Vecchio, and Giotto's Bell Tower.
