This tour was the best tour during my eight days stay in Italy. The bus was very comfortable and the tour guide Alberto was very pleasant and fun. The scenic drive was breath-taking! We stopped at three small towns including: Sienna, San Gimignano and Pisa. We also stopped at a vin-yard that produce wine and olive oil where they served us fresh made pasta, fresh bread and wine and olive oil tasting. the tour guide Alberto, gave us a history of all three towns. Sienna was known for its horse racing piazza and narrow beautiful streets and beautiful churches. San Gimignano another gorgeous town that overlooks the Tuscany breath-taking view and Pisa where you can climb up the Pisa tower and overlook the small city. I would recommend this tour to all friends and family and would do it again myself. Not to forget the bus driver Emilio that kept the bus clean for us after each stop and was safely driving the entire day! We left Florence at 8:00am and went back to Florence at 7:30pm.
This trip is a long day, but completely worth it. Each town visited is spectacular, and you cover a lot of ground. The lunch is also lovely...their willingness to easily (and deliciously) accommodate both a vegetarian and a gluten allergy was great. Christian was a fabulous guide. A perfect day trip to experience a bit of Tuscan magic.

Upgrade to include skip-the-line entry, if you wish.
It was a day trip from Florence to Cinque Terre. We were lucky the weather was perfect the whole day, with blue sky and no wind, so we could fully enjoy the view from the series of fishing villages hugging the coastal bluff. The tour guides were Alberto and a lady who was new for this tour. Both were very helpful. They not only told us about the places along this tour, but also answered other questions about Tuscany. Because of their knowledge, I was able to book another tour to see the Gladiator's house.
Our tour was amazing! Our guide Alberto was super nice and helpful, he gave a lot of very good info about each city. We had enough time in each city to see it all and it was fun exploring each city on our own! So relaxing and beautiful! We came at the perfect time of year in early Dec and there were no crowds, in fact in one of the cities we were the only people there it seemed, it was so quiet and peaceful! Loved seeing all of the colorful houses and walking the winding streets! We would do this again hands down. Such a lovely day!
Such a well-organized trip that hits 4 of the 5 towns. Tabata was a great tour guide. Once we got off the train at each town, she told us the highlights (what to see/do at each place). Then you're on your own to explore. Very efficient way to see such a scenic coastal area. It's very picturesque! I had an amazing time despite the chilly weather and no ferry boat ride. Note that it's a long day with a lot of walking, including a 15-20 min walk from/to bus in La Spezia.

Cinque Terre Day Trip from Florence with optional Hiking
Best hiking trip I’ve ever been on!
, Dec 2019
From start to finish, this was by far my favorite trip. Getting there by bus was super easy, as the tour guides gave us the history of every town we drove through along the way. Once we got to Cinque Terre, Cristian was my tour guide. He was the best! He knew all the best food spots in each of the five towns, knew the best way to use your time in each town, and was extremely helpful in general. The hike during this trip had breathtaking views, and my favorite (alcoholic slushees made from freshly squeezed oranges and lemons at the halfway point). Each of the five towns had its own charm, and thanks to Cristian I feel like I got to see the most of each one. I would highly recommend this trip and Cristian!
Our tour guide Christian did an amazing job of keeping everything on schedule so we could not only visit all five towns in one day, but also make a beautiful (and tiring!) inter-village hike. If you can handle the steep walking, I'd highly recommend this tour that gave us a taste of all the stops, and a unique opportunity to take pictures from the hike that looked like they came off a postcard. Thanks to Christian specifically, who was highly energetic and well organized.
Experience the UNESCO-listed Cinque Terre in one day with a guided tour through the five idyllic fishing villages of old-world Italy. Following the walking trails along the cliffs of the national park, you will see glorious views of this unspoiled stretch of the Italian Riviera. Check out the highlights and learn about the area as you complete a 3.4-mile (5.5-km) route with your guide. If you choose the tour option without hiking, the train will be used instead to move between villages.
Semi Private Cinque Terre and Pisa Leaning Tower Tour from Florence
, Jan 2020
Amazing! Our tour guide Daniel was super friendly and informative! So glad we did Pisa quickly first as there is not much to see besides the tower. Cinque terre is absolutely breath taking. Daniel gave us a lot of time to explore on our own so we were able to enjoy. I highly suggest this tour to someone who has not been to Italy before as getting to cinque terre is a little confusing. Please note that train is used to get from one city to another in cinque terre and price of tix is included in your ticket from Viator. The tour was only my husband myself and another couple. I saw other tours of 20 plus people and was very thankful I chose this tour instead. Highly recommend this tour.
This was our favorite tour of our trip to Italy. We had a good size group (2 other couples plus our family) and the tour guide was very charismatic and got us through the day smoothly. We spent the perfect amount of time at each location and just had a great day.
If you only do one experience in Florence make it this one and make sure you ask for Fabio!. From start to finish this was everything I wanted it to be and more. Cinque Terre was so beautiful and our driver Fabio was fantastic providing us with great local knowledge and great conversation along the way. I must also say a HUGE THANK YOU to Fabio for going above and beyond! On our return to the van I had realised that I had left a painting at our restroom stop and Fabio didn’t hesitate in running down to retrieve it and bring it back for me. Such a great guy. Thank you I Just Drive and Fabio for one of the highlights of our Italian holiday! Worth every star and more.

Pisa, Siena and San Gimignano Day Trip from Florence Including Lunch
, Feb 2020
Our tour guide, Julio was so amazing! He made sure that we had the chance to enjoy every location that we stopped at while giving helpful feedback for places we can stop by. The places on the tour itself were absolutley beautiful. Would definetly recommend.
Pictures of Tuscany dEfinitely draw you to it. Being there places you in the midst of its beauty. Helena was a very fun and informative tour guide. We loved this particular 12-hour tour. Lunch and wine tastings more than met our expectations.

Florence Day Trip to Pisa, San Gimignano, and Siena with Lunch
, Feb 2020
We felt that more time could have been spent in Siena and San Gimignano and less time at the winery. Also, we should have been instructed where and how to get tickets for the places nearby in Pisa and Siena. Otherwise it was good.
Our tour guide Paula was absolutely amazing. She was so passionate about the towns we visited during our trip and made us all feel like family. The trip itself was well planned and captures 3 amazing cities in 1 full day. The bus was clean and comfortable and Paula made us all feel welcomed was extremely knowledgeable about the cities and their history. I highly recommend this trip if you are in Florence and was to capture some of Tuscanys beautiful towns.

Independent Venice Day Trip from Florence by High-Speed Train
GREAT DAY OF TRIP
, Oct 2019
I like how everything was done for all of us. We just showed up at the Florence train station, and the representative gave us train tickets; tickets and directions how to use vaporattos; and tickets to St. Mark's Basilica.
Please note you will be taking the last train out of Venice at 7:00 PM back to Florence.
We had no issues with this trip, the person who met us at the train station to give us all the info was great, had nice packets put together with all the info we needed, maps, tickets, directions, no guessing.

First and foremost I have to sincerely thank our amazing tour guide Valentina and the company for waiting 10 minutes for me. I got lost super close to the meeting point, but found it and made it on. The tour was absolutely amazing! The views are incredible and I ate so much delicious food I think I almost burst. Valentina, no worries. I refuse to put pineapple on pizza and as you said a little Italian Grandma dies every time you do. Amazing hostess who is very knowledgeable, warm and friendly and tells cute jokes as well as educates you. Highly recommend!
Our tour guides were exceptional, personable, and knowledgeable. It was a relaxing tour with ample time to visit the sites. A little more time at the first two stops would have been nice, and the last stop was not much to see.

Full day to San Gimignano, Siena and Chianti with lunch and wine tasting
, Feb 2020
It was a great trip! The tour guides (Paula and I believe the Spanish-speaking was called Lucia) were great! Very helpful and waited for everyone patiently. Its a nice trip, especially the last stop with a lovely sunset at San Gimignano :) Thank you. Nina & Joza
Our guide Rossa was wonderful! She enthusiastically communicated the history and cultural significance of each site. Relayed logistical information clearly to respect our time and that of others on the tour. Clean and comfortable bus!

Neat Cities, Great Winery
, Jan 2020
Really wanted to take a trip to the Tuscan country side but did not want to worry about transportation. This trip gave us the opportunity to visit 3 cities plus a winery with lunch. This trip served it's purpose for getting us to and from the locations. Our guide was fine-- not overly enthusiastic in general but was informative. She made sure we were all safe and communicated updates and information about where we were. Since there were both english and spanish speakers on the tour, she communicated in both languages. Unfortunately, our tour got to the cities early in the morning and nothing was open so it was hard to enjoy the cities to their fullest potential given this (this is not the tour's fault, this is just the time of year-- low season).
The winery was by far the best part. Lunch was spectacular and the wine was incredible. After lunch we went to Siena. Our guide there was very informative and we enjoyed our time, we were just a bit sleepy after the delicious food at the winery and all of the wine.
Great Way to See Some Italian Cities Outside Florence
, Dec 2019
This was a great tour and a good way to see a lot of small towns in Tuscany. The lunch and wine tasting was fun too, it was very filling the lunch. Unfortunately we had hit some traffic and our time in some of the towns was shortened (which was out of the tours control). I do wish that we had an actual tour guide in San Gimignano and Monteriggioni because we were kind of just set free, but the free time was nice cause most tours normally don't give much free time. The tour in Siena was very informative and interesting.
Another reviewer said you should be "moderately fit" for this tour. But even the 20 year old college students were exhausted by the time we finished in Siena. First stop was San Gimignano, which by itself would be worth the trip. Monteriggioni was not worth the stop. The winery tour and lunch was better than I expected, but left us sleepy and lethargic - not the state to be in when tackling the hills of Siena. I am SO glad I saw Siena cathedral, but wish it had been the first stop, when we had more energy. The guide was very good, but our first, comfortable bus developed issues and was traded for a not very comfortable smaller vehicle. All in all, a good tour, but could have been great with a few tweaks.
See the Tuscan gems of San Gimignano, Siena, and Chianti on a day trip from Florence. Stop first in the city the medieval hilltop town of San Gimignano. Then it's off to the village of Chianti for a tasting of local blends and delicious lunch at a winery. Top off your trip in Siena to explore its historic city center with a stop at the Duomo.
A great day out of Florence. Cortona was a nice town but the visit was too short but understandable as we were heading to Assisi. What a wonderful town it is, the history and sights were outstanding. We had a some free time to enjoy a small lunch, a coffee and a wander around the town. A guided tour through the town and the Cathedral were great. In fact i could spend a whole day in this lovely town.
Take a day trip to Assisi and Cortona and discover these charming hilltop towns alongside a guide. Departing from Florence, travel first to Assisi, where you visit the Convent of Santa Chiara, the Basilica of San Francesco, and hear about the life of St. Francis of Assisi. Pause for a peek inside Santa Maria degli Angeli church, believed to be a favorite spot of St. Francis. Then head to Cortona for some time to explore independently before returning to Florence.
Our guide was very informative and easy to understand. There were only 4 in the group which made a nice size. Riding the high road back and looking at each village from above was just breathtaking. Excellent guide and smooth tour.
Our guide Yaris Baldinotti proved to be an extraordinary communicator throughout our tour in Cinque Terre. Yaris provided a geographical, historical, social and economic framework for us to understand and enjoy the nuances of the territory. Yaris ensured all our needs were met at all times (from transportation to additional information and more) highlighting his performance with much charm and chivalry. Overall, Yaris’ practical understanding of his role as representative of Italy’s culture and history in his role of travel industry professional was impressive and outstanding. We learned and enjoyed everything while traveling through the beautiful sites of this area.
Fall for the charm of the Cinque Terre, a coastal region of cliff-clinging villages and dramatic seaside views. Cinque Terre Small Group Guided Tour from Florence
Oct Cinque Terre
, Oct 2019
Freddie was a great guide. He speaks 3 languages fluently. He knew so much about the Cinque Terre and shared many tips to make the visit fun and interesting. The weather was cool which was much appreciated.
The main thing I got from this trip was that I needed to go back to Cinque Terra and spend more time. Our guide Valerio and driver Ricardo did a great job shuttling us to the towns and getting us on the train and ferry. The towns are beautiful and the trip was just too short.
My friend and I decided to book the small group excursion to Cinque Terre, and we are very glad we did. The excursion could have been a disaster, because our scheduled tour guide was hit in a traffic accident and hospitalized just before our tour was scheduled to depart. The company scrambled, successfully, to find another guide, with the result that our driver, Riccardo, drove us to La Spezia, where we picked up our new guide, Emilia. Emilia was engaging, warm, and interesting. Different parts of the tour were via bus, afoot, by railway, and by boat, and Emilia navigated all of that flawlessly, even arranging for small boats for us when the ferry we would normally have taken was unavailable. This adaptation of the tour was more intimate, and arguably more fun, than the ferry ride we were expecting. The towns we visited were gorgeous, and very much worth visiting. A surprise at the end of the tour was that to compensate us for the inconvenience of the tour's rocky beginning, a company representative presented each couple with a bottle of Chianti. Although we had all enjoyed the tour in any case, and although I wouldn't expect a bottle of wine after tours that took place without any complications, I think this gesture shows this is a company that takes customer satisfaction seriously. I would book with them again, without hesitation.
See for yourself why Cinque Terre is considered one of Italy’s most beautiful destinations on a full-day tour to the UNESCO World Heritage Site from Florence. Journey north to the rugged Ligurian coastline, and travel by train to visit the picturesque fishing villages that make up this colorful community. Stroll through the winding terraced streets, relax by the beach, shop for unique souvenirs, or grab a bite to eat while a guide shares insight into local culture and history.
The scenery was beautiful and it was a nice walk through the three villages we visited. Angelo recommended a fantastic restaurant where we sat, relaxed and enjoyed the village. Afterwards, a quick trip to Pisa. Angelo was very knowledgeable, attentive and provided us with an excellent memory.
Tour was amazing with first class service ! Our tour guide Nuccio was very knowledgeable of the area , and very accommodating . You get to see a lot for one day that if you didn't have a local expert to accompany , you would not get to see on your own.
Only a couple hours from Florence and worth the drive. Alessio was a safe driver and explained many things along the way, but also gave us the freedom to explore on our own. Would be nice if you could have a little more time in each spot.
Visit Cinque Terre, Italy’s UNESCO World Heritage-listed collection of five cliffside villages, on this private day trip from Florence. Don’t miss the opportunity to discover the charm and beauty of this coastal region, with stops in Manarola, Vernazza, and Corniglia. Admire the spectacular scenery made up of terraced hills and endless sea views; have time to browse local shops and walk along colorful streets; and take a scenic drive along the coastal road. When booking, you have the option to upgrade to include an additional stop in the Tuscan city of Pisa.
We didn’t find the meeting point very clear - asked a local for directions as google maps struggled. Seeing the Pisa complex was great. Be aware entry into the tower is not included. We did the lunch option - would not recommend this - food average (basic lasagne, salad and tub of ice cream). Would have rather spent the time walking on the walls around Pisa. Lucca was lovely. Guide very knowledgeable about the history and buildings. Free time there was great. Recommend paying to walk up one of the towers for great overview of the city. Buying gelati ourselves was much tastier than the cake sample provided.
The Pisa leg of the trip was great, definitely a must-see if you're in Italy. I only wished we spent more time there since it included the lunch (which was simple but decent). Lucca was nice but felt we spent more time than necessary and could have used 30-60 more minutes in Pisa.
Our main guide, Giulio, was interesting and lovely. He gave bits of information about towns on our way to our visits. I appreciated his enthusiasm, humour & punctuality. Felt bad that he had to deal with some passengers who were not very considerate & seemed to push everyone's buttons. Giulio definitely made a good trip better.
Directions to the meeting place would have been useful for people arriving on foot. In Pisa it was useful to have timed entry to the cathedral. Lunch was standard tourist fare. The toilets in the restaurant needed cleaning more often. There wasn't enough free time after lunch for people who wanted to see inside the baptistry or go up the tower. The visit to Lucca was excellent. Our guide, Consuela, took us to places not usually seen on a standard walking tour and was clearly knowledgeable and enthusiastic.
Explore the Italian gems of Pisa and Lucca on a day trip departing from Florence. Head to Pisa first, admiring the impressive square of Piazza dei Miracoli as your local guide discusses the historic buildings around you. See the Baptistery, the Duomo and the city’s most iconic attraction, the UNESCO-listed Leaning Tower of Pisa. Afterward, journey to Lucca for a walking tour of the Cathedral and Piazza dell 'Anfiteatro. Top off the day with a sweet slice of Lucca’s signature cake before traveling back to Florence.

Chiara was our tour guide and she was fabulous! She was very knowledgeable and informative — she gave us more information than our brains could hold! Our tour was an all day tour that included a trip to Siena, San Gimignano - which included a stop at a beautiful winery called Tenuta Torciano for lunch and wine-tasting, and finally, Pisa. Chiara knew the answer to every question we asked her throughout the day, and she went above and beyond her duties as a tour guide to make sure we had the best experience possible. Thank you Chiara and Viatour for helping make our trip to Italy a dream vacation!

Couldn't be more pleased with our trip; the perfect mix of assistance and independence! Eduardo handled all the transportation, guided us through the maze of stations and schedules and made sure
had time to make all our connections. He was there to offer suggestions at each stop but let us explore on our own. Can't think of a better way to see these destinations in one very full day!
This is what I wanted and expected. We were guided to Pisa and three of the five villages of Cinque Terre. The guide provided some explanation of the site but we were left to explore on our own, which is what I wanted. Do not expect to be able to go into the tower of Pisa or other ticketed events because you will not have time due to the pace of the trip, about an hour at each stop. I do wish there was more communication from the tour company. Our guide was 45 minutes late to start the tour and we had no way to know what was going on because the office was closed at seven in the morning.

This tour was very peaceful. The ride to and from was comfortable. The trip needs to include rest stops to allow people to use the restrooms. It is difficult to find places to use the restrooms. My tour guides were great both were very friendly.
Meeting place was very hard to find, but the trip was outstanding. Our tour guide was great, we did miss 2 trains coming home, but other than that it was fabulous. This trip is a must see on your vacation. The only thing I would changes, is being able to spend more time in each village.

My husband and I had an amazing trip, thanks to our guide Alex. He was extremely flexible with the itinerary. We hadn't done much research ourselves, and were completely counting on him to help us out with options. We were more interested in seeing the villages and enjoying scenic landscape, over a wine tour, and keeping that in mind, Alex helped us chart out our days plan that ended up being the highlight of our italy trip. He was so flexible, that he even allowed us to spend more time at San Gimignano even though the trip was only supposed to be 8 hrs long. It was truly a memorable day.
Our trip with Simone was excellent. I booked a last minute tour to Siena, San Gimignano and Chianti and was amazed at how everything went without a hitch. Simone was very nice and knowledgeable. He took us to great restaurant for lunch where we had a wonderful time. Opted for a wine tasting stop and it was also awesome. Highly recommended. We were party of 8 and tour was on Dec 04’19.
This tour is amazing! Massimo was our guide, he was excellent I highly recommend him! The great thing about a private tour is that you can customize it, and Massimo did a great job of that! I explained to him that I love photography and I am not as into sitting around wine tasting, so he customized the tour and we skipped that sit down lunch that would have used maybe 2 hours and instead did a quicker lunch in Siena, so that we had more opportunities for scenic photo stops along the way! Superb! If I book this tour again to see new places, I will definitely request him!

Well-organized, informative, and a lot of fun! We didn't get to go into the cathedral because they were preparing for a service, which was disappointing but understandable. We were warned that could happen. Overall a really nice tour!
