Early Access: Guided Uffizi Gallery Tour with Skip-the-Line Ticket
First rate guide, Leonardo
, Jan 2020
We were lucky enough to have a really excellent guide, Leonardo, who was very clear, knowledgable and easy to understand, and pitched his descriptions at the right level. The best of the many guides we've had in Italy so far
Great tour to re one t with Renaissance Art and hisotry
, Nov 2019
Tour guide was passionate about the major paintings in the Uffizi and brought to live the history and society behind the Major art works. The 2 hour length was just enough to not overwhelm our small group
We definitely wanted to see this fantastic art museum while in Florence. And we were so glad we did it with an early access skip the lines tour, before the museum was too crowded to fully enjoy. Excellent guide. Really knew his stuff. Really felt we got the highlights in a most interesting way. Highly recommend this tour.
Step inside one of Italy’s most famous art museums on this guided tour of the Uffizi Gallery in Florence. Avoid the crowds with early access and skip-the-line entrance, then learn more about the museum’s highlights with the help of an art historian guide. Prepare to be impressed as you spot works by Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo and Caravaggio, and view iconic paintings like Titian's ‘Venus of Urbino’ and Botticelli's ‘Primavera’. Best of all: your ticket is still valid after the tour ends, so you can continue exploring for as long as you want.
The Duomo is one of Florence's must-see attractions, and also among the most popular. Avoid a long wait to get inside by reserving a timed-entry ticket that lets you skip the line. Admire Renaissance paintings and devotional art inside Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral, and climb to he top of the cupola if you wish. Your ticket also includes access to all the other monuments of the Duomo complex, including the baptistery, bell tower, and museum.
the palace and museums were awesome but i had an issue at the entrance - the staff couldn't find my reservation and it took a while for her to give me the ticket and had attitude. although i had no problem with viator, the staff at the palace was really impolite.
One of the top sights in Florence, Pitti Palace is home to a number of the city’s most important museums and collections. With this prepaid ticket, skip the long line at the ticket window and dedicate your time to visiting the Palatine Gallery, Royal and Imperial Apartments, Gallery of Modern Art, Museum of Costume and Fashion, and more. Take your time to marvel at the Medici’s private art collection and treasury.
We purchased advance tickets in order to skip the long lines. When we arrived, it was pandemonium. The representative was hard to find, and the electronic reservation never states that the reservation needs to be turned into the paper ticket via the tour representative. It took way too much time for something that could be made much simpler. Additionally, we found out that Italy had a Nov. 1 holiday, the day of our visit, and that tickets were free. Viator should be a aware of these holidays, we paid for something that was not necessary, it should have been free. We are very upset about the whole experience and had hoped for better from Viator, and you CAN do better!!
We very much enjoyed going around the part that we managed. My wife has mobility problems though, and we had only 2 hours, as the booking was for 4.30pm. The bell went at 6.30pm, and it took us ages to get to the exit as it was quite a way from where we were. I do not understand why the last booking is late, therefore not allowing adequate time to get around the museum properly. So, as we would like to see the rest, we will have to pay again, which works out to be a very expensive visit. We have museums in London, which are as busy as the Uffizi, and we do not have to have a particular time slot to go around.
Got us in quickly without waiting in line, which is what you pay the premium for. We entered later in the day when, it turns out, the regular lines weren't that long anyway but there was no way to know that in advance. So if you're going in later in the afternoon you can take your chances of just buying your ticket at the ticket office and save a few dollars.
Avoid the long wait on your visit to the Uffizi Gallery in Florence with this skip-the-line ticket. Explore the expansive museum at your own pace with access to 1,500 works of art. See famous Renaissance paintings such as Michelangelo’s "Doni Tondo" and Botticelli’s "Birth of Venus." This priority ticket ensures that you can spend your precious time experiencing great art instead of waiting in line.
It was great to have the Viator guide meet us at the Uffizi. We got there late; it was pouring rain - we wouldn't have known what door to enter or where to buy a ticket. My phone wasn't working so my travel mate tried dialing the guide's number. We didn't get right through, but our guide called right back to let us know he was still waiting. He had our names on a plaque and then we got in. Thanks for coming to the rescue.
Worth the extra $ to not have to stand in an extremely long line. Justin was very responsive and engaging and actually spent some time chatting w us about Florence.
The email confirmation could be a little clearer that you have to head to a specified meet-up point in the crowded courtyard then make cell-phone contact to link up and get the tix

It was easy to locate the vendor to exchange the voucher for entry tickets. There was no guided tour- we explored the museum on our own, but these tickets made entry super fast; walked straight to security and into museum. The normal line for tickets and to get in was winding down the whole street!
Booked tickets from Viator, got the voucher within 5 minutes after payment. During the day, agent was punctual and gave me the tickets. I was inside very soon as we were the priority and finished everything early. More time to shop and walk around Firenze

Knowledgeable tour guides.
, Aug 2019
Giacomo was very knowledgeable in much of the history of Florence, and Italy.
Susanna was also very helpful. They were both fun, charming Italians.
They have someone making a line so its an extra bonus, within "skip the line".
I would recommend booking with this company.
Tour guide Jaccomo really saved our day in Tuscany
, Aug 2019
This tour was scheduled to start at 11:00am, infortunately our pre-booked transport to Florence - Pisa from La Spitzia cruise Terminal decided to completely shift around the promised itinerary without notice to the customers and without convincing explanation (we received 3 different non-credible explanations). So we were transported to Pisa in the morning instead to Florence as it had been promised upon booking. We thought our excursion to the Samra Maria del Fiore was lost along with the money paid. But, Jacomo emerged in the afternoon when we were finally transported to Florence and was able to get us through line ups and security personnel to complete our excursion of the Dome as we had envisioned. Jacommo isn't only a very knowledgeable and intelligent guide, he is also a real pleasure to deal with and I suspect he is also a great human being. Thanks Jacommo on behalf of my family for rescuing what was left of our best planning that day. We were not so lucky with our pre-paid excursion of the leaning tower of pisa where we arrived in the morning instead of in the afternoon as it had been promised by the transportation company.
Florence’s cathedral is the city’s crown jewel and most iconic monument, but its sprawling size and long lines can be discouraging. With this VIP tour, zip past the crowds at the entrance and enjoy an in-depth look at this vast complex. Visit the duomo from its soaring dome to its ancient crypt, admire the view from Giotto’s bell tower, marvel at the richly decorated baptistery, and tour the renovated museum.
It's refreshing to run into an honest company. The day of my tour a representative waited for me in the rain to hand me my ticket for the gallery. However, instead of handing me a ticket, the rep handed me cash in the value of what I paid for this experience. He explained that day the Gallery was free that day, so he was giving me my money back. He also helped my wife and I getting entry into another attraction. When I went to offer him a tip for his time and help, he adamantly refused it. Great guy, all around. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone.
We bought the skip the line tickets for the self guided tour and had no wait whatsoever to get in. Used Rick Steve’s audio tour we downloaded once inside. Small museum 1-2 hrs to visit, but definitely worth going to.
Many visitors are surprised to learn that Florence is home to three “David” statues—but the original masterpiece by Michelangelo is housed within the Accademia Gallery. Feast your eyes on the real thing without wasting time standing in line thanks to priority museum entrance. Whether you want to quickly see the colossal statue and move on or linger among other Renaissance treasures, do so at your own pace.
Come and visit the last Medici residence in Florence. The museum takes place through the daily life of the Grand Dukes of the Medici family, from Cosimo I to the last descendants (early 700s), Ferdinando, Gian Gastone and finally Anna Maria Luisa, also known as the Electress Palatine to whom it is dedicated the museum. The successors of the Medici, the Asburgo Lorena, up to the first King of Italy with attached Royal apartments.
In addition to the civic and political function of the rooms, the museum also houses a private collection of paintings, ancient statues, Florentine furniture and mosaics of great beauty and historical importance. Not to mention the frescoes that decorate the ceilings and walls.
Skip the Line: Santa Croce Basilica Entrance ticket
, Oct 2019
This Basilica held more than I expected with the tombs of famous people and some side chapels, a courtyard, a leather shop, etc. 1 to 2 hours is a good time to spend here. It's nice that under 18 is free with parents.
The Basilica di Santa Croce, with its austere interior and neo-Gothic façade, is one of the largest Franciscan churches in the world, and is part of a complex of religious buildings that include cloisters, crypts, and the Museo dell’Opera. With this pre-booked ticket, save yourself the trouble of waiting in line for admission to the complex, leaving you more time to see the religious art and burial places of some Florence’s most important artists, writers, and scientists.

We wasted time walking back to the travel office to pick up our tickets for the Galleria dell Academe. The tickets should have been given to us at the time we picked up the tickets for the Uffizi Gallery. This process should be streamlined.

Skip the Line: Florence Accademia Gallery and Michelangelo's David Ticket
Never got the tickets
, Jan 2020
We had an issue with this booking, as the actual tickets were not sent to us until I called the help office the morning of the gallery visit (who said they had sent the tickets but they really had not.) The tickets were finally sent but it was stressful. Once we had the tickets however, the skip the line was great.
We chose to utilize skip-the-line for the Accademia Gallery and it was definitely worth it! The line was SO long but we walked right in. We did not do an official tour, but the gallery is very small so I am not sure it is actually needed.
Visitors often have to join long lines at Florence’s Accademia Gallery, spending more time outside than admiring its art treasures. This ticket lets you bypass the main entrance lines, so you can head inside and explore independently without any long wait. View paintings by artists including Lippi and del Sarto, see unfinished works by Michelangelo, and marvel at the star attraction, Michelangelo’s sublime 'David.'

Will recommend to my friends.
Who doesn't want to see Michelangelo's "David"? Even though I use a walker, it was a great experience. The Accademia is just the right-sized museum for us. Lots to see and absorb without feeling overwhelmed. Priority tickets are a must in a city with 5 million or so visitors a year. And, as a handicapped visitor, Viator staff saw to it that I entered safely with minimal stairs.
