This was a good way to start our time in Florence. There is a lot of different areas to see and the bus tour gives you good overview. The bus was on schedule most of the time and it was nice to be able to track the bus location with the phone app. The bus staff is very friendly!
We chose to utilize the hop on-off bus to get around the city and see the top sights of the city. To finish our day we stayed on and completed the entire loop. It takes a couple hours but you see everything.

Florence Vespa Tour: Tuscan Hills and Italian Cuisine
BEST TOUR EVER.....A MUST to do !!!
, Dec 2019
This tour is a must while in Florence. It is fun, educational and more than you would expect. Alex was amazing in terms of providing information and ensuring our security while on the road at all times. He is a wealth of knowledge so every time we stopped at a particular place, he would gather all of us to explain all the details of where we were, its history and funny anecdotes as well. Once on the road to Tuscany the views are magnificent including their private place where we had an amazing, delicious lunch with an extraordinary view. We also found out, they do cooking lessons there for homemade pizza and gelato. Honestly, we did not want to get off our Vespa upon returning back. This tour is a MUST to do!
This tour was awesome. My wife and I had a great time. I drove, she rode. If you take this tour, make sure you are comfortable driving an open air vehicle, in actual traffic. The views are awesome. The wine and food was good too.

We took this tour on our first day in Florence. It gave us a really nice introduction to the city. We thought we were reserving a private electric cart tour, but we were paired with two other people.but they were very nice, so it turned out okay that it wasn’t private. A little difficult to see buildings in the city because of the roof on the electric cart. But we crossed the river and drove up to a high overlook with fantastic views of the city. Great for photos. Would never had gotten there on our own. So we really enjoyed the tour, and recommend it.
A little disappointed with this GC Tour. We were not picked up where we were told to meet guide, guide told us we had to walk to meet him. I had tried to confirm this 3 times, Enrico confirmed the pick up point. Also dissatisfied with the attitude of this particular guide. He had a recorded playlist of information. He did point out a very good restaurant for us to eat at.
Cover a lot of ground in a short amount of time when you book this tour of Florence's historic sights via golf cart. While a guide shares an insider's perspective on the culture and history of the birthplace of the Renaissance, you sit back and relax in the roomy electric cart. Meet the tour at a central point in the city; choose from morning or afternoon tour departures.
Luca was an amazing guide. He pointed out a bunch of great spots around the city and countryside. Views were great from either side of the city from the surrounding hills. Luca was very patient & helpful w/ ppl of lesser experience as well. Would recommend to anyone. Thanks Luca!
Luca did an amazing job at making us feel comfortable and really strived to make the tour thrilling, fun and informed of the city and history. He was personably, friendly and patient. Truly an experience i will never forget!

Fantastic tour !! Virginia knows it all about Florence. She is very friendly an go above and beyond to make the tour to fit your needs. She even researched the location that are mentioned in Dan Brown's inferno to show me the places. I highly recommend her. Worth every dime that you pay for the tour.
Even though we’ve visited Florence several times, our guide, Virginia, was very informative. She took us to places we’d never seen on previous visits, some we requested. Virginia also pointed out interesting facts about places we had visited. She was very knowledgeable. Great tour. We would highly recommend it and Virginia!
Great overview of Florence with our fun, friendly and informed tour guide -- Martina!
, Oct 2019
So glad we booked this private tour of Florence. We (three friends) visited in September and wanted a walking tour of Florence to give us a better idea of the city so that we were confident when we ventured off on our own. This tour was the perfect length (3 hours) and we covered a lot of the city on both sides of the Arno River. Our tour guide Martina was amazing -- very friendly, knowledgeable, patient (as we took a lot of pictures), spoke fluent English and helpful (gave us info on restaurants and shopping). We learned a ton about the history and sites of Florence and the little restaurant we stopped for wine and snacks (included in the tour fee) was adorable. I definitely recommend this tour and make sure to ask for Martina!!

Florence with Marilena
, Feb 2020
Marilena was our guide and we appreciated her informative and fascinating narrative. She helped us see differences in the arts depending on the time frame and truly helped us appreciate the wonderful art we were seeing. On the way to Uffizi, we stopped at the Medici home and admired the villa. She told us that a 12 year old Michelangelo was “discovered” and brought to live here for a few years! I would highly recommend her tour!
Our guide was amazing! We are people who don’t know much about art but She explained every little detail to us. From the stunning statue of David to the intricate paintings in the Uffizi, with this tour we truly experienced everything!
Missed the tour in the morning to see David! But did the afternoon tour~
, Jan 2020
We missed the morning tour by 5 mins as we got delayed getting across town to the Accademia! Had to get a refund on the tour! The afternoon tour with Angelo for the Uffizi was very entertaining! Even my 16 year old had fun!

Pisa and the Leaning Tower Afternoon Tour from Florence
From $55.55 (Price varies by group size )
Excellent tour to Galileo’s city
, Dec 2019
This was an excellent trip to the ‘Square of Miracles’ in the world famous medieval area of the city of Pisa. Enough time, no more no less for admiring the beauty and the architecture of those wonderful masterpieces: the leaning tower, the baptistery, the cathedral and the cemetery. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and open to questions. Very recommendable!
Our guide Barbara was great. Everything ran smoothly and the tour was given in all the languages the people in the group chose. The meeting point in Florence was a bit confusing, but the tour itself ran very well. Is worth if you have enough time in Florence.
If you're short on time and would like to see Pisa, this is the best way to see it. It's the best bang for your buck since train tickets from Florence to Pisa are almost the same price, if not even more - and that's without the informative tour guides included in this tour. The bus ride was pleasant with with little tidbits about the sights seen in the countryside. The leaning tower of Pisa is the least interesting part of the tour, as the plaza itself (cathedral, hospital, baptistery, cemetery) holds so much history. I greatly encourage you to book this tour!
See the iconic Leaning Tower on this half-day trip to Pisa from Florence. Admire Cathedral Square and the Pisa Baptistery as you follow an expert guide past the city’s main attractions. After posing with the UNESCO-listed Leaning Tower of Pisa, some time to explore the area independently. Your trip concludes with transportation back to Florence.
Florence Full Day Tour with David, Duomo, Uffizi, Ponte Vecchio and More
Fabulous day with Constanza
, Jan 2020
My husband and I had a wonderful day touring the city with Costanza Barlondi. She was extremely knowledgeable, patient, interesting, and seemed to know the answer to all of our questions, regardless of the topic! Because our group was small, it felt very personalized and we could take our time and learn about each of the sites we were visiting. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to hit all of the "must sees" in Florence.
We had Francesca as our guide, she may be small in stature but was very knowledgeable in Florentine history and local cuisine. The tour at the Accademia was great, we were shown a few interesting pieces before seeing the David. We then made our way to the Duomo where a brief history lesson was given on the construction of the baptistry, tower and cathedral. Next up was the famous pig market, followed by the Vecchio palace before ending on ponte Vecchio. After the lunch break, we visited the Uffizi gallery for the afternoon. We were shown many great pieces before the tour ended at 4pm. As the Uffizi is so big, we were free to see the rest of the gallery at our own leisure after the tour ended. A wonderful day overall
Maximize time in Florence with a full-day tour that includes several top landmarks. Visit the Accademia Gallery to see Michelangelo’s statue of David, the colorful Duomo of Florence, and the Uffizi Gallery with masterpieces by Leonardo da Vinci and Caravaggio. Stroll across the Ponte Vecchio bridge, taste traditional gelato, and enjoy free time to relax over lunch.
First time on a Segway. Easy to learn and operate. Marzia was knowledgable with a great sense of humor. Zipped around and saw the most important sites in central Florence and learned the important history behind them. HIGHLY recommend this one.
My husband and I booked a segway tour with this company and they were amazing from the start! They were super friendly and our guide Elena was extremely knowledgeable and fun!!! We got to see so much and learn soany interesting facts about Florence!! We highly recommend this tour!!

Well-organized, informative, and a lot of fun! We didn't get to go into the cathedral because they were preparing for a service, which was disappointing but understandable. We were warned that could happen. Overall a really nice tour!

, Feb 2020
These were the best guided tours that I have been on. The guides were easily understood and their knowledge was excellent. They were very enthusiastic and energetic and kept me very interested in their information.
Our tour guide was fantastic and engaging. We did the tour that included a traditional Tuscan lunch and it didn't disappoint. It was delicious authentic Italian fare. The first part of the tour which included a the Galleria Dell'Accademia to see Michelangelo's "David" was the best part. Our tour guide gave us great information on the history surrounding the Renaissance era. This was the highlight of my vacation.

Knowledgeable tour guides.
, Aug 2019
Giacomo was very knowledgeable in much of the history of Florence, and Italy.
Susanna was also very helpful. They were both fun, charming Italians.
They have someone making a line so its an extra bonus, within "skip the line".
I would recommend booking with this company.
Tour guide Jaccomo really saved our day in Tuscany
, Aug 2019
This tour was scheduled to start at 11:00am, infortunately our pre-booked transport to Florence - Pisa from La Spitzia cruise Terminal decided to completely shift around the promised itinerary without notice to the customers and without convincing explanation (we received 3 different non-credible explanations). So we were transported to Pisa in the morning instead to Florence as it had been promised upon booking. We thought our excursion to the Samra Maria del Fiore was lost along with the money paid. But, Jacomo emerged in the afternoon when we were finally transported to Florence and was able to get us through line ups and security personnel to complete our excursion of the Dome as we had envisioned. Jacommo isn't only a very knowledgeable and intelligent guide, he is also a real pleasure to deal with and I suspect he is also a great human being. Thanks Jacommo on behalf of my family for rescuing what was left of our best planning that day. We were not so lucky with our pre-paid excursion of the leaning tower of pisa where we arrived in the morning instead of in the afternoon as it had been promised by the transportation company.
Florence’s cathedral is the city’s crown jewel and most iconic monument, but its sprawling size and long lines can be discouraging. With this VIP tour, zip past the crowds at the entrance and enjoy an in-depth look at this vast complex. Visit the duomo from its soaring dome to its ancient crypt, admire the view from Giotto’s bell tower, marvel at the richly decorated baptistery, and tour the renovated museum.
Amazing experience! My husband and I took this tour in Tuscany and it was a great start to our stay in Florence. The owner/instructor/guide was awesome! Dejan was hilarious and so much fun to spend the day with. I was terrible at the Vespa driving, so after a couple goes and not feeling comfortable I volunteered to ride with my husband, which I ended up enjoying much more! I was able to relax on the ride and really take in the countryside. The views were breathtaking. The winery itself was very neat as well. The lunch and wine were delicious. Would 10/10 recommend this tour if you’re looking for something fun and different than the traditional walking tours!
Our guide picked us up at his bike shop in the middle of Florence and whisked us away to a tiny winery in a charming small town in the Tuscan wine country. We were introduced to the owner who took us on a tour of his winery that was once home to ancient monks - fascinating to descend into the underground part of his property. We then had a quick lesson on Vespas and people either passed or failed depending on their skill set (if you failed you went as a passenger - maybe better because you got to see the amazing wine country on our journey through the narrow winding roads. We then went back to the winery for a delicious lunch and wine, of course. You also had the opportunity to purchase wine from the winery (of course). You were then whisked back to the bike shop in Florence. If you've ever wanted to ride a Vespa in Italy, this is the place to do it. Great scenery, amazing food and wine, and incredible guides. It was a fabulous way to spend the day.
Explore the Tuscan countryside in true Italian style — on a Vespa! After a short van ride from Florence and a riding lesson, spend a full day zipping along scenic country roads from the seat of your own personal Vespa. Pass by historic vineyards, villas and olive groves while your guide shares insight into local history and culture. Tour an organic farm and winery in the famed Chianti Rufina region, where you’ll enjoy a traditional Tuscan lunch and wine tastings.
I CANNOT recommend this tour enough! The layout of the day is perfect, hitting both museums with a Gelato stop and tour of Florence. The provider and the guides were fantastic and really made our experience great.
Although the meeting point was in an area that was very crowded, close to the Academia, Florence Specialists had people looking out for tour members and guided us to the right location. Our guide, Lori, is an expert in Michelangelo and is an enthusiastic and entertaining tour guide. We had seen The David before but Lori's tour made the experience much more enjoyable and meaningful. Lori also did an amazing job at the Uffizi given the limited time we had there. We would highly recommend this tour while you are in Florence!
Get the benefits of a small-group tour at an affordable price point with this best-of-Florence sampler limited to just 10 people. Hear the stories behind Michelangelo’s ‘David’ at the Accademia, marvel at the massive Duomo, and step inside the palatial Uffizi Gallery, all without waiting in the notoriously long lines. Headsets and a smaller group size mean you won't miss a word of your guide’s insightful commentary.
Well organized tour
Guide was waiting for us and provide with headphones at front entrance
We entered the Duomo exactly at the scheduled time
Special thanks to our guide(Natalie) for wonderful tour with very interesting, detailed information about the construction of the Duomo and it's history.
Definitely will recommend Viator company to my friends.
Get inside one of Florence's best-known buildings on this skip-the-line guided tour of the Duomo, including its famous dome. Climb to the top of the Cupola to enjoy spectacular views over Florence and to see Vasari's beautiful frescoes up close.
We purchased advance tickets in order to skip the long lines. When we arrived, it was pandemonium. The representative was hard to find, and the electronic reservation never states that the reservation needs to be turned into the paper ticket via the tour representative. It took way too much time for something that could be made much simpler. Additionally, we found out that Italy had a Nov. 1 holiday, the day of our visit, and that tickets were free. Viator should be a aware of these holidays, we paid for something that was not necessary, it should have been free. We are very upset about the whole experience and had hoped for better from Viator, and you CAN do better!!
We very much enjoyed going around the part that we managed. My wife has mobility problems though, and we had only 2 hours, as the booking was for 4.30pm. The bell went at 6.30pm, and it took us ages to get to the exit as it was quite a way from where we were. I do not understand why the last booking is late, therefore not allowing adequate time to get around the museum properly. So, as we would like to see the rest, we will have to pay again, which works out to be a very expensive visit. We have museums in London, which are as busy as the Uffizi, and we do not have to have a particular time slot to go around.
Got us in quickly without waiting in line, which is what you pay the premium for. We entered later in the day when, it turns out, the regular lines weren't that long anyway but there was no way to know that in advance. So if you're going in later in the afternoon you can take your chances of just buying your ticket at the ticket office and save a few dollars.
Avoid the long wait on your visit to the Uffizi Gallery in Florence with this skip-the-line ticket. Explore the expansive museum at your own pace with access to 1,500 works of art. See famous Renaissance paintings such as Michelangelo’s "Doni Tondo" and Botticelli’s "Birth of Venus." This priority ticket ensures that you can spend your precious time experiencing great art instead of waiting in line.
See the highlights of Renaissance Florence on a leisurely 3-hour walking tour featuring special-access entrance to the Florence Duomo that lets you enter without waiting in line. Follow a passionate local guide and small group of no more than 15 people, to see Michelangelo’s David, the Baptistery (outside), and the Piazza del Duomo. End with a city stroll that includes landmarks like the Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio, Orsanmichele Church, and Ponte Vecchio. This is a great way to pack the highlights of Renaissance Florence into a short amount of time.
Skip the Line: Florence's Accademia Gallery Priority Entrance Ticket
, Dec 2019
Absolutely like it was promised.
Representative met us at the museum entrance, provided with tickets exchanged on our printed voucher
Entrance was granted exactly at scheduled time
We are extremely satisfied with great service provided by Viator
Will recommend to my friends.
Who doesn't want to see Michelangelo's "David"? Even though I use a walker, it was a great experience. The Accademia is just the right-sized museum for us. Lots to see and absorb without feeling overwhelmed. Priority tickets are a must in a city with 5 million or so visitors a year. And, as a handicapped visitor, Viator staff saw to it that I entered safely with minimal stairs.
Make the most of your precious time in Florence with priority entrance tickets to the world-famous Accademia Gallery, best known as the home of Michelangelo's 'David' statue. Beat the crowds that are a constant at this popular attraction, and head straight inside the hallowed halls to feast your eyes on the iconic sculpture plus masterworks of Renaissance painting by Botticelli, Ghirlandaio, and many others. Stay as long as you like during museum opening hours, and view the art at your own pace.
This walking tour is a perfect length and is a great intro to major Florentine landmarks and their history. But our guide also emphasized underappreciated gems like the Bargello and Santa Croce which are worth a visit.
Experience Florence on a 2-hour evening walking tour with a small group and an art historian guide. Explore the center of the city without the crowds of the day and stop at historic squares, piazzas, and Renaissance statues. Learn about the city’s Roman history and modern day culture. Get local insights and learn about Florence’s storied past with informed commentary about the city’s art and architecture. This tour is an ideal relaxed introduction to the city and gives visitors a good foundation to explore further.
This was a fabulous way to understand Florence's history and get to know the city. The only negative was the tour people were not dressed according to what we were told not did they identify themselves which caused some confusion.
Explore the rich history and top attractions of Florence on a guided walking tour. Led by a local guide, hear about the rule of the influential Medici family during the Renaissance as you stroll through the neighborhood of San Lorenzo.
