Lakes Regional Park has the distinction of being a much loved beautiful spot in an already beautiful portion of Florida. Located right on the bay and with over 250 acres of sprawling landscape including over 150 acres of land-made lakes, Lakes Regional Park is one of the highlights to any visit to Fort Myers. Also a part of the Great Florida Birding Trail, Lakes Regional Park is home to an especially diverse population wildlife: birds. And with 2.5 miles of hiking and biking trails, it’s easy to spot them. Families enjoy the miniature railroad in Train Village, as well as the playgrounds, cactus, butterfly and herb gardens.
Lakes Regional Park is located at 7330 Gladiolus Drive in Ft. Myers, Florida. Parking is ample and is $5 for a day pass at any of the lots.
