Great evening, Throughly enjoyable consider a window seat but if you cannot stretch yourself it will be okay as the main area is raised so you will still see nicely.
Food was top class not to much nor to little. The waitress was very generous with the wine which was also good quality.
I think considering that one is travelling down the Seine and seeing Paris light up at night this goes down as a world class event, I will say there is not a running commentary of what you are going past so consult the info they give you.
Lastly the on- board entertainment was classy, not intrusive.
Ensure a memorable night out in Paris with a gourmet dinner cruise along the Seine River. Float past the city’s famed monuments, such as the Eiffel Tower, Louvre Museum, and Ile de la Cité aboard a luxury Bateaux Parisiens riverboat. Soak up the magic of Paris from an onboard dining room while enjoying a gourmet 3-course meal. Please note that Champagne and live music are also included on select 8:30pm departures.
Feast your senses on the vibrant color and charisma of the ‘Féerie’ show at Paris’ iconic Moulin Rouge during an extravagant evening in the City of Light. Take a seat in the atmospheric theater and prepare for a dazzling spectacle of drama, dance and music. See elaborately dressed show girls dominate the stage; marvel at dancers as they perform compelling choreography; and opt to upgrade to include a French feast and fine Champagne before the show starts.
The Louvre is a massive museum and booking a Skip the Line: Guided tour is the only way to visit.
Ruben, our guide, was fantastic; approachable, clever and funny. He shepherded us through the entry point - quick, easy, and past the massive lines - into the museum. His knowledge is extensive and his obvious passion is an asset to the experience.
He told wonderful stories (the gossip about the Mona Lisa is saucy!), revealed the meanings to various paintings the tour focused on (why is Napoleon dressed like a Roman emperor?) and knew the building well enough to quickly point us toward the exhibits we wanted to see once the tour was done.
We'd definitely book again with City Wonders Ltd Tours on our next visit.
Experience culture and art through the ages with a small-group tour of Paris’ epic Louvre Museum. Jump the queue and learn about some of the museum’s 35,000 artworks across eight themed galleries from your art historian guide. Then enjoy time on your own to explore, viewing paintings, sculpture, and architecture from 450 BC to the 19th century. Numbers are limited to 25 on this small-group tour or upgrade your ticket to a private tour exclusive to just your group.
Normandy D-Day Beaches Trip with American Cemetery with Optional Lunch
Wonderful Trip to Normandy
, Feb 2020
This was a tremendous day trip from Paris and full of sites to see. Our tour guide, Vincent, was very attentive and full of knowledge and he kept the discussions going. We had a wonderful lunch at an old farmhouse from the 15th century- great atmosphere and wonderful food.
The whole experience was awesome!!!! The visit was on our bucket-list of places to visit, but it exceeded expectations in impact and scope. We were blown away by the vastness and visualizing the immensity of the landing.
The tour guide was great; she used the time on the bus to give us all the background information before getting to the museum. We could have used more time at the museum, but it was great to have one section for D-Day and another for the war overall. So much good info! The lunch was nice, but plain. It was convenient to add it and not have to purchase separately.
We visited Pont duHoc, Omaha, and Gold besides the cemetery. All were beautiful, somber, and overwhelming.
Would absolutely recommend this trip for anyone!!!!
Visit the D-Day beaches during this full-day trip from Paris to Normandy. Stop at Omaha Beach to learn stories and historical facts about WWII; stop at the Juno Beach Center; pause at the American Cemetery; and stop by the Caen Memorial Museum for a scenic lunch. Gain fascinating insights from your guide into the sacrifices of Allied soldiers and the French citizens they liberated. Upgrade to a small-group tour when booking for a more personal experience.
It’s nice to have the access, but you can book this without using Viator. If you can do the research, you are able to make your own way quickly without having to wait for a large group. Took 30+ minutes to get from the meeting point and through security to just wait in line inside at the base for the elevator all due to waiting for people you don’t know since they release you there to your own doings. Had I just had our own access I could have done it without worrying. Also, don’t be stuck on your time you book; it changes and when it does, you’re at the mercy of tours open times they have available which is frustrating. So as long as you book your tickets in advance and do it by yourself and meet at the time you choose you’d enjoy the tower much more as you’re on your schedule.
Reach the heights of Paris's most iconic monument while bypassing the long wait with a skip-the-line ticket to the Eiffel Tower. Head to the front of the line and ride the elevators up to the first and second levels for marvelous views of the Trocadero gardens, the Louvre, and other famous monuments. Keep going all the way up to the summit level, where the whole of Paris stretches around you in an unforgettable panorama.
Versailles Guided Tour and Priority Access with Hotel Pickup from Paris
, Feb 2020
Excellent tour. Our guide was knowledgeable. She made sure our group was treated with privilege. I recommend the guided skip the line tour. The line We slipped was hundreds of people waiting for hours.
The driver was very late and I think it impacted the amount of time we had in Versailles. Our guide was very knowledgeable but because we were late in arriving I felt hurried through the palace. The palace was so unique and the guide was great at explaining the history of the palace through the many French kings and their reign. just wish we hadn’t felt hurried.
Surround yourself in the grand spectacle of the Versailles palace and gardens on a small-group tour from Paris. Enjoy pickup from your Paris hotel, then breeze past the queue at Versailles and take a small-group tour through the castle’s ornate interior. Discover the rich tastes of Louis XIV, who built the enormous 700-room complex, adorning the space with extravagance and luxury. Then take a leisurely stroll in the palace gardens before returning to Paris.
Enjoy an intimate historical look at the D-Day landings on this full-day trip to the beaches of Normandy from Paris. Travel by comfortable van accommodating no more than eight people, and visit Omaha Beach, the Operation Overlord Museum, German bunkers, Pointe du Hoc, as well as the American Cemetery home to 10,000 white crosses. See period-era military maps, plans, and photos, while listening to inspiring stories about June 6, 1944. Sip some of Normandy’s famous traditional cider before returning to Paris.
Indulge your inner romantic on an atmospheric evening cruise down the Seine and see the City of Lights at its most magical. Dine on a decadent 4-course dinner, accompanied by live music on-board, as you float past illuminated landmarks like the Louvre, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Eiffel Tower.
Maarten (sorry if I got the name wrong!) was amazing. He gave a great insight into the history of the tour around the Eiffel Tower and all the surrounding landmarks. At the end of the tour (ours was the last in the day), we spent a bit more time with him just talking in general about our experiences in Paris and he was extremely helpful in advising us about our trip and what we can do whilst in Paris.
The tour was great as well as we skipped the line and we had clear instructions regarding what the plan was and what we needed to do. I do advise all people who book to read the small prints on everything they provide as you need to arrive 15-30minutes before your tour start time to a location 5 minutes away from the Eiffel Tower.
Save time with this Viator skip-the-line Eiffel Tower ticket. This priority access admission ticket allows for a relaxing visit to one of the world’s busiest monuments, accompanied by a host. Listen as your host adds colorful history and facts to the sights below as you look over Les Invalides, Notre Dame Cathedral, and other city landmarks.
This was a really pleasant experience.
Mini van turned right on time - it was clean and a small group (5). The driver/guide was very resourceful and knew all about Versailles. There was time to wonder alone in the gardens before we met for our timed slot. Little ear-pods (sealed in a plastic bag) were provided and so we could wonder in each room listening to our guide. It was very practical and one could focus entirely as he kept talking into his little microphone. Tour was not too long, not too short, just right. And drove me back to my hotel. A door to door service. Highly recommend and would definitely do it again. Side note : gardens in January is not the best month but there was no queue at all to get to the Chateau!
Escape the city of Paris for a day, and go on a tour to Versailles, which is known for its magnificent regal architecture. Travel in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle to Versailles, which takes the stress out of organizing transport. Conveniently, an entrance ticket to the Palace of Versailles is included, so you beat the crowds. Your guide enriches your experience with stories about the area’s royal history.
Highly recommend this tour for a memorable, though-provoking Louvre experience
, Jan 2020
We booked a skip-the-line private Louvre tour for our family, including one 6 year old. None of us had ever been to the Louvre, largely owing to its overwhelming size. I highly recommend booking this tour particularly for those who are not familiar with the museum, are short on time, appreciate convenience and/or want to have a meaningful experience within a relatively short period of time.
We were pleased with every aspect of our tour - from the initial booking, meeting our guide Alex, entering the museum and exploring its vast riches. The booking was easy, and we received confirmation with instructions following the booking. As promised, we then received another email the night before with the name of our guide and his contact information.
We easily found our guide, Alex, who took us through a less crowded entrance quickly. For the next 2.5 hours, without a map, Alex led us through the highlights, holding our undivided attention and giving us a wonderful art history tour that we are still talking about - even our 6 year old daughter. He also managed to keep her engaged throughout the tour.
If you are considering a tour, you will not go wrong with this one or with Alex if he is your guide.
Prepare to be inspired by some of the world’s most famous artists as you step inside the iconic Louvre Museum. Head straight to the front of the queue with skip-the-line entrance, then journey through art history on a private tour. With the help of your expert guide, see masterpieces like the 'Venus de Milo' and the 'Mona Lisa,' learn about the evolution of art around the world, and discover little-known gems that many visitors miss.
We were looking forward to this tour from the moment we started planning our vacation to Paris. Booking through Viator made everything so easy.
Katelyn, our guide, made the time we spent with her fun by slathering clever puns throughout her presentation, using her deep knowledge and obvious interest in the subject matter to entertain and inform. The stories she told (The bones of rich, famous and infamous Parisians mingled with commoners! Secret clubs hidden in the myriad tunnels! The sheer number of the dead housed within the site!) truly brought the catacombs to life.
The tour included a couple of areas not open to the general public - worth the cost of the tour just to see these hidden gems.
This is amazing tour our guide Katelyn is so awesome . Very knowledgable about the history of the French Revolution. The special access is great we are able to see places. Katelyn made this tour very enjoyable and interesting
Venture beneath the City of Light to explore the dark underworld of the Paris Catacombs. Skip the entrance lines and head inside this fantastically macabre tunnel system filled with the skeletal remains of more than 6 million Parisians. Hear about the remarkable construction of the catacombs from an expert guide as you walk past ornate chambers piled with decorative arrangements of bones, and gain special access to chapels and chambers closed to the general public. Group size is limited to 19.
Skip the Line: Eiffel Tower Summit Priority Access Ticket with Host
Excellent Eiffel Tower experience
, Jan 2020
We very much enjoyed our priority access Eiffel Tower tour. Our tickets expedited our entry & assured us the quickest access possible to the summit. Adrielle was a helpul & friendly guide who shared with us thistorical info. & ably assisted us with access. She also gladly answered questions. The location for meeting the guide is very convenient & a mere 2-3 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. The office efficiently checked us in & got us on our way to the Eiffel Tower. We would do it this way again.
Only as fast track to the 2nd floor. Had to wait in line to get to top. The champagne and macarroon "special" was more expensive to buy from the company then it was to buy directly there. Totally not worth that part.
Bypass the long lines at the Eiffel Tower with this tour that includes summit access. After fast track, skip-the-line access, proceed to the second level to survey the city from the viewing platforms while listening to commentary about Paris culture, traditions, and history. Then, proceed to the summit to see Gustave Eiffel's private apartments and sip Champagne from the onsite bar (own expense).
As someone who is not great with heights, the lift is a little bit daunting - especially the lift from the first platform to the next, but once you get up there, it is all worth it.
I went at night and WOW!
Instructions to meet the guide were simple and clear, and we left pretty much on time.
The guide took us through security and into the lift area, where we were given the choice to stay with him or to go off on our own.
Paying the extra for the skip the line was worth it, even though when I went it wasn't really much time saving, but I would guess at busier times it would be.
I highly recommend this tour, and especially at night!
The main reason I wanted to make sure and send in this review, was to congratulate you on hiring such a great guide. I can't say enough wonderful things about Romain. Besides being an excellent tour guide, full of humor and very knowledgeable, he went above and beyond. We knew we would be walking everywhere in Paris, so my partner had brought his cane. We had it with us when we met Romain for the tour, only to find out that canes, and such, were not allowed in/on the Eiffel Tower. Romain was able to talk a near by shop owner into holding on to it until after we returned from the tour. Unfortunately the shop closed while we were walking back, but Romain was waiting for us with the cane. I just want to let him know how much we appreciated it!! Thank you!
Breeze past the crowds outside the Eiffel Tower with this skip-the-line pass and 1.5-hour tour. In the company of your local guide, you'll gain priority access to the tower's second level. Delve into the history of one of the world's most famous monuments and soak up the exhibits and maps on display. Then bid adieu to your guide and head to the tower's summit for stellar views of the City of Lights. Toast your travels with a glass of bubbly from the Champagne bar (own expense).
Loire Valley Castles Tour from Paris: Chambord, Chenonceau with Lunch & Wine
Great daytrip for Couples
, Jan 2020
My partner and I had a great time on the castle/wine tour. Our tour visited the impressive Chambord and Chenonceau castles while stopping for lunch and wine tasting at a lovely family owned castle in-between. Plenty of wine to be had through the trip and the food was lovely. We had Michelle as our tour guide and she was great! Super knowledgeable about French history and told us many interesting stories about the region. She also spent time after the tour answering everyones general questions about Paris. So helpful!
Fantastic tour of the Loire chateaux and superb lunch at chateau Nitray winery. Thank you Paris City Wonders for a great day. And our guide, Michelle, was wonderful. Couldn't recommend this tour highly enough. Do yourself a favour when you are Paris and book this tour.
Overall we enjoyed the tour, however, we got a little lost trying to get to the pick-up point and were scolded when we arrived late. Thank goodness the bus driver saw us! One of the tour guides took advantage of the wine tasting too much. I enjoyed the history lessons.
Marvel at the Loire Valley's opulent châteaux and taste its famous locally-made wine during this full-day tour from Paris. First head to Chateau de Chambord—the inspiration for Disney's 'Beauty and the Beast'—for a guided tour. Then, relax midday with a traditional French lunch at Nitray Vineyards, with unlimited wine. Then, visit the elegant Château de Chenonceau and embark on a tour through its intricately carved stone walls, rich hanging tapestries, and intimate chapel.
This was the highlight of our visit to Paris. We chose this tour because of the volume of excellent reviews and it truly lived up to the 5 stars it deserves. Nick made this tour delightful, fun, exciting, and interesting. We tasted a variety of Parisian delights, drank delicious wines, walked the charming streets of Montmartre, and made wonderful friends. This tour was worth every penny and should absolutely be included on everyone’s Paris agenda !!
We had Julie as our tour guide and what an amazing job she did. Tour was well worth our time as it gave my wife and I the ability to experience a different area in Paris. Places we visit were great for food and was able to visit some

Anyone traveling to Paris for the first time should take this tour. Our guide, Lauren, provided not only some amazing picture opportunities but he helped bring the history of Paris to life as he explained each area visited.
Great time!!! We were able to see everything we wanted. Our driver was not only very informative, but a great photographer as well. This was an even better experience than the river cruise. I would highly recommend it.
Put a twist on the typical Paris sightseeing tour with a private drive around the city in a Citroën Traction—a classic French car. Paris in One Day: Louvre, Eiffel Tower Lunch and Notre Dame Cathedral
Excellent half-day tour option!
, Jan 2020
My family of four opted for the half day tour, which started at the Louvre (skip the line and see the highlights) and a bateau-bus ride to the Eiffel Tower with lunch. This tour and lunch at the Eiffel Tower (outside under an enclosed dome) was the highlight of my teenagers' first time visit to Paris. Our tour guide was informative and funny. An extra bonus was that we were able to use the bateau-bus tickets all day. So, when we were done with lunch at the Eiffel Tower, we took the boat to Notre Dame on our own (which continues to be closed due to the fire). The metro strike was still happening, so the all day boat tickets were a wonderful way to see the City.
My tour was great , our tour guide was Franklin and he was great had so much insight to give us at the Louvre. Lunch at the Eiffel Tower was great even though it was technically on the 1 st floor in a dome like space.
Unfortunately, I was unable to attended the one day tour Oct 7th due to an unforeseen illness and flu. I made it to the Paris City Vision bus terminal that morning and feinted and fell on the floor in the line at the counter. The staff was very nice to me and contacted the paramedics to attended to me immediately. Th staff stayed with me to make sure that I was ok until the medics arrived. I’m sure that the Pairs City Vision has this event noted on file under my name. I was very disappoint to miss the tour but had to be sent back to the hotel to rest the form the next two days before continue on my trip. This was of course no fault of the tour service whom was extremely attentive and cordial.
I am not certain if it is possible to ask for any amount of refund at this point, but due to the circumstances I would like to formally make the request for any partial refund if applicable.
Thank you. Joel Cisco
See the French capital with a guide on a half- or full-day tour of Paris, ideal for travelers short on time. Head inside the Louvre Museum to see artwork by Leonardo Da Vinci and tour Île de la Cité. Immerse yourself in the culture and architecture of the city as you travel along the banks of the Seine River to the iconic Eiffel Tower, and enjoy lunch on the terrace of a yacht facing the famous tower.
Used bus often but only once did we have the narrator. Would be useful to have one on every bus. Otherwise it was great. Covered a lot of area. Buses came frequently to all stops. Plenty of ear buds and naps always available.
The Big Bus Tours are amazing - the audio descriptions are very good (and there'e even music) BUT if you get a live commentry it is fantastic - as they add their thoughts and feelings and can be really funny.
Make sightseeing in the French capital easy with a Big Bus tour of Paris. Enjoy the convenience of hop-on hop-off access at any stop along the route, and soak in the views from an open-top, double-decker bus. See sights like the Louvre Museum, Moulin Rouge cabaret club, and the iconic Eiffel Tower as you listen to informative, English-speaking guides or audio-commentary.
Great description by the Chauffeur cum guide. Almost felt as a part of WWII.
However, as a family we were made to sit in three different rows in minivan. Were told that we signed the fine print contract. Ha ha ... hilarious. If not for the guide , and the location itself, should you still choose this, then be prepared to sit as split family
Travel back in time on a historical tour of World War II landing sites, with optional hotel pickup. Head to the Beach of Normandy, to see Pointe du Hoc, a promontory that was a German fortification strong point until U.S. army members invaded on June 6, 1944. Visit the American Cemetery on a bluff above Omaha Beach, and explore other significant locations such as Mulberry Harbor, built specifically to speed the unloading process of Allied troops.
Really enjoyed this tour a few days ago. The guide did an excellent job giving our group all of the information we were hoping for. One small issue was that the tour was oversold. Thus, before departing on the tour, people in the group were asked if they wouldn't mind canceling/being reimbursed their tour fee. This put everyone in an awkward, frustrated mood. No one said yes (because everyone had planned and looked forward to the experience). Luckily the tour was able to still take place, but with 4-5 extra attendees.
Dig deep into history with an underground Paris Catacombs tour. Learn why the bones of more than six million people were deposited under the city in a complex maze of tunnels that you definitely need a guide to navigate.
Guided Eiffel Tower Tour by Elevator with Optional Summit Access Upgrade
, Feb 2020
We all enjoyed our Eiffel Tower tour. Hafid was excellent at providing us with the information about the tower and Paris in general. We have 4 young boys and he was great at including them too. Thanks, Caroline.
On a very cold windy January morning, our Guide, Sara, more than made up for our disappointment at summit being closed. She was excellent in keeping us entertained and great with both adults and children. No need to go to the summit, the second floor gave spectacular views.
Make the most of your visit to one of the world’s most popular landmarks on a guided Eiffel Tower tour. Hear the history and legends behind the Paris icon as a guide accompanies you up to the second level, where panoramic views of the city await. Skip The Line: Palace of Versailles and Gardens from Central Paris
Versailles is Spectacular
, Feb 2020
Versailles is stunning and a must see during any visit to Paris. We booked our Magic Ways tour through Viator along with a number of other tours - click, click, vacation planned!
Magic Ways offers three different pick-up/drop-off points around Paris where you can board their buses to travel the short distance to Versailles. Very convenient. When we reached the site, our minders - Inez and Javier - whisked us past the long queues and into a side entrance reserved for groups. Inez sorted the audio guide equipment and sent us on our way.
We were told to gather at the meeting point no later than 4:15 pm which gave us ample time to explore this magnificent palace. The audio tour is easy to use and contained interesting commentary though the personal touch of a human guide would have been nice. The gardens, in winter, are so serene that we spent a lovely hour or so wandering the myriad paths. There are a couple of food options within the site, so you won't go hungry. Be sure to visit the sweet little gift shop for fun souvenirs!
From pick-up to drop-off, the experience was well organized and easy breezy.
Nice tour. Guide was helpful. Waited for the return bus a bit longer than i think we should have. Otherwise, it was a great experience. plenty of time to explore. Would like the overall time printed somewhere in the details.
Versailles is an amazing place to visit.
The tour was as described on the web site; on time, very good bus, guide very friendly.
The only thing you should tell people before is that the audio guide does not include earphones, it wasn't fun to realize it when you get the machine and hold it with your hand next to your ear while you are walking for 2 hours.
Gain entry to the famous Palace of Versailles without waiting in line with this 5-hour skip the line tour from Central Paris. With priority access to the UNESCO World Heritage site, don your audio tour (available in eleven languages) to listen as you walk through the legendary State Apartments and the Hall of Mirrors. Stroll through the lush gardens, designed by André Le Nôtre, and learn about Louis XIV, the flashy king who once inhabited this opulent residence. Round-trip transportation from 3 departure points in Paris via air-conditioned bus is included.
