Full-Day Bora Bora Lagoon Cruise Including Snorkeling with Sharks and Stingrays
Cruise of a Lifetime
, Nov 2019
Excellent, Excellent, Excellent !! Best tour I have ever taken. If you want to see the Beauty above and below the water this is the tour for you. Much better than any cruise tour. 4 different stops for snorkeling. Sharks, Stingrays and Tropical Fish. The time at the Motu Beach and food was excellent. The Boat Captains were awesome! I would definitely do the tour again ! Great Job ! This tour was twice as much on the ship. Tahiti is very expensive and this tour was great for the low price.
This tour was so great! From getting up close with sharks and stingrays, to singing guides, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Maui and Moana were amazing guides! I highly recommend this tour!
We had the best time on this tour. Our guides were excellent and very friendly and entertaining! All similar tours went to the exact same snorkel locations as us. A few small tips: Snorkel masks and separated tubes are provided (not flippers) so if you have the option to bring your own snorkel gear from your hotel, I would recommend that. We swam without the fins, as you really don’t need them when there isn’t any current. We saw Black tip sharks, lemon sharks, very friendly sing rays, manta rays, a Moray eel and lots colorful fish in the lagoon at 3 different stops. The BBQ was good - tuna, bbq chicken, slaw salad with mustard dressing, papaya, rice, and pasta salad (one beer, one bottles of water, and unlimited juice beverage). Bring a book to read on the island for the afternoon, a waterproof camera or gopro, water shoes for the sting ray area (there were some rocks), plenty of sunscreen, a hat, and be sure to take the walk up the steps to the panoramic view!
Manta rays, stingrays and black-tip reef sharks are just some of the treasures to be found around the gorgeous lagoons of Bora Bora. On this full-day lagoon cruise, enjoy plenty of snorkeling opportunities plus a delicious barbecue lunch at a private island. You’re treated to French Polynesian hospitality and entertainment, topped by incredible photo ops from the island summit. This ultimate day in paradise with a professional guide includes hotel or port pickup and drop-off.
Bora Bora Jet Ski Tour, Lunch at Bloody Mary's and Shark Stingray Snorkel Cruise
, Dec 2019
Tenira and Teva were the best guides. In the morning Tenira guided us on the jet skis. Very fun. I was the only woman who drove her own jet ski on my tour, but I'm really glad I did — speeding through the lagoon is super fun. Teva was the snorkeling guide and showed us the sharks and stingrays and even pointed out a sea turtle. Be warned that even if you think you are prepared, seeing a shark swimming towards you underwater is absolutely terrifying! Be prepared for cold water and changing temperatures. both guides were very informed and entertaining and made sure we all had a good time.
We absolutely loved every part of this tour. The jet skis were a blast, and we got to see the entire island. Swimming with sharks and stingrays was a little unsettling at first, but an incredible lifetime experience to look back on. Each tour guide was fun and friendly. Highly recommended!
The snorkeling was super awesome - we had some non-snorkelers in our group and they loved it! Never seen anything like it! Lunch at Bloody's was very good, although the wait staff was not friendly at all and even though the restaurant was not that busy - it seemed to take a bit too long for the drinks and food. The Jet Ski tour was so much fun and the sights were amazing - it was a bit too fast and long for us 60+ folks. None of us had operated a jet ski and all four of us had a hard time maneuvering the machine. We were good and wore out at the end of the day!1
Get out on the water at Bora Bora om this combo Jet Ski and snorkeling tour that includes a shark and stingray boat safari. Select a single or double Jet Ski and zip around the Polynesian paradise with an experienced guide. After lunch at Bloody Mary’s, hop in a powerboat to a shallow lagoon for a close encounter with black-tip reef sharks and stingrays.
Get an overview of Tahiti on a 4-hour sightseeing tour of island highlights with an informative guide. Walk around the black-sand beaches of Matavai Bay at Venus Point and the Arahoho blowhole, marvel at the ancient Polynesian temples of the west coast. Wander tree-lined paths past ponds and waterfalls at the botanical Vaipahi Garden and visit the Taharaa lookout known as One Tree Hill. During your afternoon coach tour, with hotel pickup in Papeete, you’ll learn about the history of French Polynesia while soaking up panoramic island views.
Really wonderful trip. They took us to several different area . Saw a bunch of sharks, rays and color fish and saw the different areas of the lagoon area. Crystal clear water. Boat was comfortable, happy and helpful crew. Serenaded by local singer and ukelele player which set the mood. Nice lunch provided. A must do when you come to Bora Bora
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. We were met at our tender by Moana (Bora Bora Lagoon Cruise) and he was an informative and knowledgeable local guide for our excursion. First stop was snorkelling with yellow sharks, second stop was near the reef where we literally walked in waist high water to the stingrays, with black tipped sharks in circling us. The stingrays were very friendly and one tried to climb up my husbands back, much to his dismay but our amusement. Third stop was the coral reefs with more fish to view. There were only 8 passengers so easy for the guide to monitor and keep us in sight. A passenger from another tour boat drifted a long way out of bounds and had to be assisted back to his boat.
Discover the stunning underwater world of Bora Bora during this half-day snorkeling excursion. Swim in the crystal-clear, shallow waters of a lagoon and observe marine life such as colorful corals, tropical fish, a variety of ray species, and even small sharks. Snorkeling equipment is provided as well as snacks and bottled water, so you can enjoy a relaxing lagoon cruise in Bora Bora.
Bora Bora Combo Tour: Lagoon Cruise and 4WD Tour Including Snorkeling
, Nov 2019
Snorkeling and getting up close to the black tip reef sharks and sting rays are priceless! One of the best adventures I’ve ever done. The sharks and sting rays are calm and not frightening at all. Our tour guides were great, very friendly and informative about the island. The 4WD tour included many breathtaking views. Overall it was an amazing tour.
Other than the fact that we waited over 30 mins for our ride at our pick up point (as I think they forgot about us), the rest of the tour had no hiccups. We had multiple stops at view points and plantations, the views were wonderful, then 3 spots for snorkelling. The 4wd open truck, the boat and snorkelling equipment were great. The guides were fantastic. The only thing I would recommend for the tour company is to get better life jackets for the not-so-great-swimmers as the current bulky ones get in the way of snorkelling. Flippers would also be helpful to swim in the choppy waters.
This was an experience that seemed very personal and intimate with guides that made you feel "at home". The places and experiences were very real. The day was filled with many attractions and good food.
Thanks for the experience.
This combo tour of Bora Bora by land and sea is full of fantastic photo ops! Start with a 4WD tour by open-air safari truck that circles the volcanic island, stopping at several lookout points along the way. Then hop on a boat for a Bora Bora lagoon cruise over coral gardens and snorkel close to stingrays and black-tip reef sharks. Learn about local culture from your guides throughout the day.
We were really impressed with our host who made the cultural experience above our expectations. He was passionate and sincere about his heritage and we truly learnt a great deal about the history or Bora Bora and the French occupation and the impact the Americans had during and after World War 2. Great tour really enjoyed it and recommend it. Brad
Alex was a great tour guide. We visited the top attractions of Bora Bora and he told us interesting stories about the sites we visited. He was patient, kind and eager to share his culture and love of this beautiful island. I highly recommend this tour.
Alex half-day 4 WD Guided tour
We had a great time! Alex was a great guide and gave us not only lots of historical information about Bora-Bora but also, and most importantly to us, about his family heritage and traditions being born in Bora-Bora. In addition to all of this information, Alex was very funny and made us very comfortable during the entire tour. Thanks Alex! We highly recommend this tour with Alex and his company. John & Edi
Experience an abundance of postcard-perfect photo ops on Bora Bora with a tour by open-air 4WD truck. Gaze out over Bora Bora’s famed turquoise lagoon from several lookouts including East Matira, Faanui Canon, and Amanahune Bay. See a demonstration by local artists, check out vestiges of World War II, and taste delicious tropical fruits at a plantation. Circle around the entire island in the morning or afternoon, or select a sunset tour that includes a glass of sparkling wine.
Great, immersive tour of the Moorea lagoon. The tour guides really do their best to make it an unforgettable experience. Some great family memories: eating freshly cut pineapple, salted by our guide dipping the pieces directly into the sea; breaking a coconut by hand and scooping out the insides; eating poisson cru freshly made by our guide; petting stingrays in an incredible, crystal clear lagoon; and many others. Amazing tour.
I would recommend this tour to everyone that visits. It's informative, interactive and so much fun! The guides are wonderful and speak pretty good English. Lunch was delicious, we love learning to open coconuts and make hats out of palm leaves. HIGHLY recommended!
Explore Moorea's lagoon in the traditional way—aboard a Polynesian outrigger canoe—during this full-day excursion. With a small group of 12 travelers or fewer, get plenty of room onboard and attention from the guides. Take in the scenery, go swimming and snorkeling, and arrive at a tiny islet for a cooking lesson (the local dish poisson cru) and a barbecue lunch.

Highlight of our trip
, Feb 2020
My group and I were looking for a unique way to see more of the island of Mo’orea and decided on this ATV tour. It ended up being the highlight of our trip. The guide was fun and we got to see some amazing views and covered so many different areas. The ice cream and juice place we stopped at was such a hidden gem and every flavor we got was refreshing and a perfect way to cool down. Thank you for a once in a lifetime experience!
Experience a pure moment of escape in the heart of Moorea. In love with
biodiversity and nature this activity is made for you.
During this excursion, discover our beautiful island and its legends.
Take to the heights at “Belvèdere” and enjoy its view
breathtaking on Cook and Opunohu berries.
Then take advantage of a stop at the Lycée Agricole for a tasting of homemade jams and local fruit juices.
Continue this walk along the many paths in the valley, cross the agricultural plantations and the Pineapple fields.
Then on a last ascent, discover one of the most beautiful viewpoints on the island, "the Magic Mountain". A magnificent panoramic view of Opunohu Bay and the north coast.
Bora Bora: Small Group Stargazing Tour Including Sunset Cruise
Lots of Stars
, Oct 2019
Great trip! We had to take a hotel shuttle boat to the main island where we were picked up in a van and taken to the dock to catch our stargazing tour. Turned out to be a private tour as our party of 4 were the only stargazers that evening. We all enjoyed wine, prepared snacks, and live music as we watched the sunset and headed to a private island for an evening of stargazing. Our guide used a laser pointer and iPads to point out the constellations and told us stories about the early Polynesian travelers. Highly recommend if you like looking at stars.
After being picked up at our hotel we had a relaxing boat ride to the edge of the reef where we enjoyed bubbly, beers, and appetizers while we watched the sunset. As the sun dunked into the ocean we headed to Rohivai Island to stargaze. There was a bathroom at the base of the stairs before a quick climb to a beautiful view of the lagoon. We sat in chairs as our guide pointed out constellations before heading back to our hotels. Highly recommend this tour.
Cruise into the multicolored island sunset during this tour from Bora Bora. Toast your vacation with some bubbly and meet your small group of fellow travelers, limited to 12 people or fewer to ensure an intimate atmosphere. After the sun sets, gaze at the twinkling stars and learn about how the ancient Polynesian people used the stars to navigate their way across the South Pacific. Hotel or port pickup and drop-off is included.
Bora Bora Sunset Cruise and Dinner at St James Restaurant
Perfect dinner cruise
, Jan 2020
The sunset cruise was amazing. I would definitely do it again if we ever go back. The dinner was excellent. Got to meet the owner of the restaurant. He made sure we all had rides to get back. If you don't do the cruise at least try this restaurant. You won’t be disappointed.
My wife and I chose this excursion because it was highly rated by others and indeed it did not disappoint. Unfortunately our actual sunset was not spectacular because of rain clouds , however the ride around the island very smooth and comfortable and the food was delicious.
It was very cozy and romantic. The guys fed us fruits and beverages while playing native tunes on the ukelele until sunset. Then they drop us off at the restaurant but I didn’t know that was the end of them. I feel very bad that I didn’t get the chance to say goodbye or tip them. The tour is worth it.
Combine a relaxing sunset cruise in an outrigger canoe on Bora Bora's lagoon with a romantic dinner at St. James restaurant during this evening experience. Sip a glass of included sparkling wine while watching the sun sink below the tropical horizon, then sit down at one of the island's best restaurants for an intimate dinner overlooking the lagoon.
Half Day Tour : Moorea Snorkeling & Sailing on a Catamaran named Taboo
, Jan 2020
We had a great time on this tour. They provided transportation to and from the ferry terminal, which was great but they also let us know what ferry we needed to take to get to Moorea. The snorkeling was amazing! Leo and Jeremy did a great job. They were very knowledgeable about the area and the snorkeling stops we had were perfect! I would highly recommend this tour, you will not be disappointed!
Climb aboard the Taboo sailing catamaran and head out into the beautiful lagoon waters surrounding Moorea on this private excursion. Spend hours swimming and snorkel with all sorts of tropical fish, blacktip sharks, stingrays and more. After you've worked up an appetite, nibble on tropical fruits and sip cocktails on the return to the harbor.
Outstanding day with Deraho(sp) our guide and his tour. Snorkeled on Thanaa, pearl farm, wonderful Polynesian lunch prepared as we watched, vanilla farm and topped off by swimming with black tip sharks. Perfect day!
This was worth it for the lunch and boat rides and snorkeling alone, but we did even more! There's something for everyone. Only our group of 2 showed up that day and they didn't cancel on us, but rather let us choose between some of the stops. It was nice to have some flexibility.
Circuit around the lagoon of Tahaa with five stops, Visit of the coral garden, Visit Pearl Farm, lunch on a Private Motu (island), Lunch feet in the water, coconut SHOW, Visit of the Vanilla Valley.
(If you come from a ship to RAIATEA, UTUROA we will pick you up and take you back to the port)
Moorea 4WD Tour Including Belvedere Pineapple Farm and Magic Mountain
, Feb 2020
Great tour. Ron was an excellent tour guide and driver. We were the only two on the tour. We appreciated Ron’s willingness to take our photos and his suggestions for spots and settings for the best photos. Also, we experienced heavy rains and storms. Ron did an excellent job of rearranging the stops to align with the weather. I highly recommend this tour.
Tour was awesome. Ron, the tour guide was informative and did an excellent job not only commenting on the vistas but also on the history of the island as well explanations at the pineapple farm and vanilla farm.
Venture beyond the resorts on this full-day tour of Moorea, which guarantees a first-hand look at all the island’s top sights and fuss-free transport between them. Get off the beaten path and venture to viewpoints such as Magic Mountain and Belvedere Lookout, see marae (Polynesian temples) and pineapple fields, and visit an island distillery. Expert narration is offered throughout.
My husband and I had a wonderful time on the ATV tour around the island! The sites we saw were amazing,- Belevedere Point, Magic Mountain, Pineapple farm, juice/jam shop, yum! The guide was very attentive and made sure everyone was doing ok. He also explained everything in both French and English! He was very personable and knowledgeable about the island. Someone on our tour got a flat tire but it was taken care of in a timely manner while we got to enjoy a beautiful view. Highly recommend!
An ATV ride was a little different for us, but ended up being one of the best things we did on Moorea. Beautiful tour of the island the people (the owners and tour guides) could not have been kinder. We highly recommend it!
An ATV tour may be one of the most exhilarating ways to get to know Moorea. Limited to just eight travelers, this guided tour takes you to the island's famous pineapple fields before you and your vehicle climb the peak of Belvedere for breathtaking views of both Cook's Bay and Opunohu Bay. After snapping photos, visit an agricultural school, stopping to sample some homemade jam. Cross rivers and enjoy the mountain scenery as the tour continues.
As owners of a PWC we weren't anticipating much, but the location and sites made it so much more enjoyable than riding a jet ski elsewhere. It was incredible! Tiva was a great guide and the small group allowed us to see more and have more fun on the jet skis. We swam with rays and sharks at one stop! Also, time at a beautiful motu for pictures. I would suggest one person per jet ski also. We did not have anyone in our group sharing a ski, but I would think it would detract from your experience if you didn't have the freedom of being a single rider. This tour is worth every penny you pay for it!
So much fun and so beautiful!! Going again tomorrow! Definitely wear heavy sun screen. You get to see so much of the island from a really beautiful vantage point. Saw a turtle, Ray's and tons of sharks. Lots of fish that I didn't see in the lagoon at Sofitel.
With this Moorea Jet Ski tour, you'll get to know the island's jagged volcanic mountains, sandy beaches, and gorgeous bays—all with the help of a local guide. See more than you could on your own and hop on a solo or twin Jet Ski in search of native wildlife in their natural environment. You'll even have a chance to swim with stingrays and sharks and spot turtles, dolphins, and whales (in season).
The tour is worth it. The guide was very good and explains everything in a great way. The coconut tasting was great and the experience on the Island were we tried was even better. Thanks for the great memories.
My wife and I had a great time. The guides were friendly. Duration was perfect. One concern, it was my wife's first time on a jet ski and she was anxious about the waves and the speed. Although the guide did slow down a few times to allow her to catch up. He could have done it a little more ofte . Overall, excellent experienc .
Zip around the Bora Bora lagoon on a morning or afternoon Jet Ski tour past water bungalows, sailboats and the lush green slopes of Mt. Otemanu. Aboard a single or double Jet Ski, cruise across sparkling aquamarine waters with an expert guide leading the way. Stop for swimming and a coconut husking demonstration, ensuring plenty of photo ops in this Polynesian paradise.
Even though the weather was not optimal, we had a terrific time driving our own rented boat to go back to our favorite snorkeling place and have lunch in the boat. Excellent instructions by Jeff. Frank, the owner, picked us up and drove us back to the dock and was fabulous. Would do it again!
We had lots of fun boating around Bora Bora! I mixed up my booking dates but they were very accommodating. We got a map that shows a specific route and places of attraction. We saw different parts of the beautiful lagoon, spotted a few rays and snorkeled in the coral garden "aquarium". But there were also many places we couldn't go on this boat. The boat is easy to operate but some general knowledge about boating is helpful.
Unique in Bora Bora ! Go cruising on your own, without a boat license.
You don't need experience to have fun.
Possibility to bring your picnic and your soft drinks.
The sole activity where you can feel like in a lost paradise.
Bora Bora may be a small island but there is a lot to see and do. If you make independent tour plans, you may miss out on some spectacular sights. Instead, book this combo excursion that includes a tour of the island in a 4WD open-air safari truck, lunch at the world-famous Bloody Mary's Restaurant, and a cruise of Bora Bora lagoon to snorkel the coral gardens and encounter stingrays and black-tip reef sharks.

You have 2 stops the first half way where you relax in blue lagoona and change drivers ; the second on our private Motu for a coconut show. We come and pick-you up directly at your hotel.
Bora Bora 4WD Tour Including Lunch at Bloody Mary's and Jet Ski Tour
Time of Our Lives!
, Oct 2019
This is by far the best experience we've ever had. We went out our honeymoon a year ago in 2018 and we still remember it as the best time we've ever had. Loved all the amazing sites we visited and the jet ski tour was so much fun! We stopped by so many little places to explore on our jet ski that we wouldn't have been able to visit without one. Our guide was amazing and gave us great tips on how to ride the jet ski. It was our first time on one but it was easy to learn. Easily the highlight of our trip!
Combine views of Bora Bora by land and sea during this full-day tour. Circle the island in a rugged 4x4 vehicle, then refuel with a lunch pit stop at the popular Bloody Mary's. End up with a Jet Ski ride around the azure waters (select single or double). Round-trip transportation from the cruise port and select hotels included.
Croisière TUPAI (Sail to Tupi) from Bora Bora was an incredible adventure! Captain Pepeeto and the guide were so friendly and made the journey very enjoyable and exciting. They speak both French and English. The catamaran is beautiful and large with plenty of space to move around and enjoy the beautiful sail to the island of Tupai. Tips: Be prepared for a full beach day as if you were hiking into an exotic paradise in the wilderness. A motorized pontoon boat will bring you to the I sland from the catamaran and a tractor cart will drive you to different parts of the island. Lunch was traditional home cooked Polynesian dishes including coconut fish salad, baked chicken and spinach, sweet bananas, heirloom sweet potatoes, rice, traditional bread. For dessert delicious baked bananas and banana bread. Water is provided. To fully enjoy this excursion, bring secure water shoes for the rocks on the sand bars, a towel, sun protection clothing and strong sunscreen, a hat, and some ingredients to make your own cocktails (Alcohol, sprite/sparking water, limes, mint ect.) I’d recommend a backpack over a beach bag to carry your things across the sandbar to the island. This part of the excursion is optional, but you will want to do it to reach the incredible unspoiled beaches! Keep in mind that the most beautiful places in the world remain untouched because they are not easy to get to. We really enjoyed the sunset sail home listening to great music as the sky darkened revealing a panoramic view of the stars with the silhouette of Bora Bora in the distance. Bring beers/drinks to leave on the boat as well if you would like to enjoy them. Transportation back to our hotel on the Motu at night was arranged by taxi transfer and shuttle boat. You won’t regret this once in a lifetime adventure! This was a wonderful addition to our honeymoon as we are an adventurous couple that enjoy nature.
Bora Bora Half-Day Catamaran Sailing, Snorkeling and Floating Bar Experience
Magical Day Out
, Nov 2019
The team on the VitaminSea catamaran were very hospitable, friendly & knowledgeable about the history & landscape of Bora Bora. We just lay back in the nets & sailed across the most amazingly coloured water we had ever seen . Cool music playing in the background, the gentle breeze in our hair & the most epic landscape of the motos & volcano all around you make for awesome photos. After snorkeling in the clearest water, we sipped on chilled bubbles & ate fresh fruit while standing in the water at the floating bar - a very cool way to finish the perfect day. We would 100% do it again if we ever get back to Bora Bora. Thanks for a super day:)
An adventurous excursion, but mostly relaxing and pampering which was just what we needed!
, Oct 2019
Kiki and Tony were awesome, as was our driver who took us over from port to resort where Cat took off from. They treated us well, with simple little things like laying out our towels after swimming, handing us towels after we got back on boat from snorkeling, preparing our snorkel equipment and laying it all out for us. We loved how the Cat was set up, that we got an entire quadrant to ourselves and they really did max the passengers at 8. There were soft mats to lay on, towels ready for us, water and rum punch at all the right times. We really loved this excursion, worth every penny. The beauty we could take in while relaxing as we floated along, loved it.
Don’t miss out on anything during your trip-of-a-lifetime to Bora Bora. Let local insiders bring you to the most beautiful spots on the island’s famous lagoon, including the aquarium snorkeling site where you will encounter amazing marine life. Book a tour aboard the former race vessel Vitamin Sea, a 40-foot catamaran. With just a few other passengers on board, head to the crystalline waters of Paradise Bay, where you can swim, snorkel, and enjoy a magical “floating bar” experience.
