You can walk around Pico do Arieiro for a while to find the ideal spot for the sunset or even to explore the peaks before it gets dark and you will have a spectacular Cheese Tray and some of the best local wine ready for you to enjoy. Stargaze with our own Telescope and check out the marvellous sky canvas and film it with your own smartphone as we have a smartphone adapter equipped on our Telescope. If the weather/visibility conditions aren´t the best we change the tour to the West tip of the Island, the Lighthouse of Ponta do Pargo in Calheta where we can enjoy a great sunset as well.

After the hotel pick up ( around 6:00 AM) we drive you to Pico do Arieiro where we will enjoy the Sunrise around 8 AM. This is the highest viewpoint of the island at 1818 metres of altitude. See the sunrise while enjoying a hot cup of coffee/tea, a luxury only our clients will have as there are no coffee places open at that time. You can choose a few varieties of coffee, as we have sugar and milk on the side, and we have 3 varieties of tea. You can enjoy all of this as it is included in our price. We also have sandwiches , homemade cake, biscuits, water, orange juice, fruit jam, cheese, ham, in a buffet style breakfast. After all of this we go back to the area of Camacha and go for a lovely levada walk in the Paradise Valley area, it should take you about 40 minutes to complete. If the weather/visibility conditions are not good enough to see the sunrise in Pico do Arieiro we change the sunrise spot to the Skywalk Viewpoint of Guindaste in Santana to guarantee a great sunrise.
