Booked a three hour guided tour. Easy to book online. Clear instructions about what to bring/wear etc. Start of tour short walk from Sixthrills office. Excellent guide. Very knowledgeable. Gave out lots of information, but in a clear and user-friendly way. She steered us efficiently around the site, answered all questions and gave clear instructions.

Guide for this tour was top notch, very informative, we had amasing time in Alhambra. One negative thing that company itself was very unresponsive, i sent them an email two days ago asking about meeting point and time and did not receive any responses, as our tour was on monday i called them on sunday as soon as i get to Granada, the office was closed, i paid money for the service so please follow day or two before with meeting info, why i have to call them, we had another tours in Spain and companies sent even text to confirm that we have all info for the next day tour, so only this negativity toward tour company, but guide was super good.
Visiting the Alhambra was perhaps our top tourist priority in 6 weeks in Spain - and it did not disappoint. This tour lasted 3.5 hours and was very thorough - we got to see everything we wanted to see. Emilio is an Amazing guide - so knowledgeable and easy going. His energy level and enthusiasm was strong even at the end. We learned a lot. His pacing was excellent. As some in our group began to tire a bit, Emilio moved us at a pace that was great for us - letting big groups pass so that we could linger and more properly enjoy the spaces. Very Strongly recommend

Alhambra and Generalife Private Guided Tour in Granada
Highlight of trip to Andalucia
, Feb 2020
The Alhambra is spectacular and our tour was extraordinary due to the site and our guide Hamdi Rawfiq, who brought the place alive for us. We were very lucky to have had him assigned. We could not have imagined a more enthusiastic, charming, and knowledgeable guide.
Booking was quick and easy. Communication prior to the trip was good. Our guide Marta was wonderful. It was good to have a guide: you get to skip the queue and it adds to the experience to get an explanation of an attraction so steeped in history
Our tour guide, Juan Antonio, was a joy! He was extremely knowledgeable about the Alhambra and Generalife and was very personable as well. He took us to every nook and cranny that was accessible. He explained the history of the place in exquisite detail. This was the highlight of our 13-day trip to Spain!
Discover the legacy of Spain’s powerful Nasrid dynasty on a private tour of the UNESCO-listed Alhambra citadel and Generalife gardens in Granada. From Moorish sultans to Catholic kings, hear stories from the centuries of rulers who occupied this stunning royal complex and adjacent gardens while an official guide reveals the secrets behind their multicultural history and design.
Thank you, David and Gregor you were extremely friendly and supportive They provided an amazing tour of Granada, Albacin. The Segway tour was the highlight of our trip 10/10 would recommend to anyone staying in Granada!
Make easy work of Granada’s hills and zip around the sights on this 2-hour guided Segway tour. Enjoy an intimate experience, with a small group of just six people; explore the atmospheric Albayzín and Sacromonte neighborhoods; and admire landmarks such as the San Cristobal Church, Paseo de los Tristes, and Palacio Daralhorra.
Alhambra, Nasrid Palaces, Generalife and Alcazaba private tour
, Oct 2019
We couldn't be more satisfied with our tour. The extra expense for a private tour was definitely worth it. Our tour guide, Abubakr, was excellent. The Nasrid Palaces are not included in most group tours but it is one of the highlights of the visit.
Described by Moorish poets as “a pearl set in emeralds,” the Alhambra is indeed the jewel of Granada. Discover the legends behind the beauty on this private tour of the entire Alhambra palace complex, which includes skip-the-line admission to Granada’s most popular attraction. This tour can accommodate your group of one to 20 people, and includes a choice of morning, afternoon, or evening departure.
Ernest was a very friendly and knowledgable tour guide. He knows his wildlife and animals and history of the Sierra Nevada. The views are spectacular. I was hoping that we would go up to 3500 metres but went up to 2500 meters. Definitely worth the money when you get to see Mother Nature that close up.
This tour was definitely the highlight of my trip to Granada! Jaime is so enthusiastic and caring that it's impossible not to have a great time. The Sierra Nevada is breathtaking but exploring it in a 4wd takes it to another level.
It's worth every penny!
Embark on a half-day 4WD adventure in Sierra Nevada National Park that’s tailor-made to provide the most spectacular views of snow-capped peaks, white mountain villages and Mediterranean forests. Access remote and less-visited sections of the park, and enjoy a drink at an alpine restaurant while soaking up panoramic vistas.
Alhambra Ticket with Audio Guide including Nasrid Palaces
Wonderful but be on time
, Feb 2020
Fantastic - gardens , Generalife and Nasrid all stunning. Make sure you check your ticket time and arrive with time to spare to find office and collect tickets. If you miss your slot you won’t be allowed in to Nasrid !! It’s a 15 minute hard walk up the hill to the entrance but you can get taxi or bus.
Easy to find the office that is near the entrance. Here you get to claim the audio guide and map. They also give you your tickets at the office so you just have to queue directly at the entrance when you get there. The only downside is that they choose the time when you go to the Nasrid palace. When we got our tickets, we had to beeline straight to the Nasrid palace because we found out that we were given a slot that was 30 minutes away from the time we got our ticket.
We made our Alhambra Tour reservation 2-3 months in advance, got up early to be sure we'd be on time for the 9am tour, but when we arrived we were told we were re-scheduled at 11am...so we went back into town and returned 2 hours later...a waste of our time and loss of sleep. Apparently, we were told an email was sent the day before informing us of the change. But, after making our reservation we started receiving almost daily advertisements from Viator, and I most likely deleted the reschedule email...there was certainly no heading like "IMPORTANT"...the message to future tour takers: be watchful for changes in the schedule! Fortunately, our guide, Darus was terrific!!
Thousands visit Granada’s Alhambra each day and daily numbers are capped to help protect the complex. Book in advance to avoid disappointment and save vacation time with this skip-the-line audio guide ticket. Simply collect your ticket and audio guide at the entrance, bypass the ticket-purchase lines, and explore the Nasrid Palaces, Generalife, Alcazaba, and more your own way, dipping in and out of the audio commentary as you wish.
Skip-The-Line Alhambra and Generalife Expert Guided Tour
, Jan 2020
We booked the early access tour to avoid the crowds, but everyone else went in and we were left standing outside for awhile. The tour guide had good info but the whole process was very slow. Several people tried to leave but were told they would be unable to get into Generalife if they did because they had a group ticket. The tour was supposed to be "approximately three hours" but we finally gave up aftet four. It could have been done a lot faster and then large crowds at the end avoided.
Our guide, Isabel, was witty and informative. The history, archtecture and cultures were highlighted. The gardens were an integral part of the experience. This is another excellent tour booked through Viator.
The Alhambra is an incredible place and not to be missed. I didn’t think this tour was worth the money since it didn’t include the main palace. The guide didn’t speak good English and was incredibly hard to understand.
Skip the line for entrance tickets and spend more of your time exploring Spain's famed Alhambra Palace and Generalife gardens on this guided tour. Enjoy the privilege of priority entrance and be one of the first to enter the grounds and step back into Granada’s Muslim past whilst exploring the palace and fortress. Get insight into the gardens' features and a deeper look at the region’s history from your guide, before exploring farther independently.
This was an amazing amazing trip and a perfect way to see Granada at night!
Our guide Veronica was full of passion and very very knowledgable about Granada and the trail and areas that we walked through. A perfect guide.
The tour itself was full of adventure and full of amazing things to see and lots of great stories and tidbits were told. There were also great views of Granada all along the way which provided very instagrammable moments.
All in all a 10/10 and a must do if you are moderately fit and don't mind long walks in the evening!
My father and I enjoyed the tour,
it was different from other tours, when we got bombarded with too much information. Unique experience but a little to concerned of the night hike up and down the slippery mountain.
We booked the night adventure tour but when we showed up we found out that the tour involved a climb up a mountain, through woods and into caves. It actually looked like a lot of fun but it was recommended for people between the age of 20 and 40. Our kids are in that age group. So the tour company suggested we take the sunset walk instead, which we enjoyed very much.
Experience an alternative and adventurous side of Granada when you embark on this nighttime tour. Equipped with headlamps to help navigate the darkness, explore the Albayzin (Granada’s ancient Muslim district), chart the caves of Sacromonte, wander through the Dehesa del Generalife park, admire nighttime views from the Silla del Moro, and otherwise discover a side of the city that most tourists miss.
Our authentic tapas bar crawl offers you the opportunity to try the best traditional food in Granada and sample the city through its dishes and drinks. Your local guide will share Granada’s history and secrets with, as you visit some of the most authentic tapas bars in the city. Our goal is to make you live a tapas crawling just like local people, away from the most touristic venues. Be prepared for new tastes and flavours with the best company. A great experience for foodies!
We really enjoyed our walking tour of Granada. Our guide Caterina was very nice and knowledgeable. The only downside was that we booked an English tour but there were also Italians on the tour as well so everything was explained in two different languages. Apart from that it was a great experience.
Explore the Granada districts of Albaicin and Sacromonte on a walking tour with a guide who tells stories and shares information as you go. You'll walk roughly 1.5 miles (2.5 km), enjoying the lead of a guide instead of having to look at a map or worry about where to go. Hear about the heritage and lifestyles of the neighborhoods, including Arabic history, gypsy culture, and flamenco music.
Arabian Baths Experience at Granada's Hammam Al Ándalus
A perfect escape!
, Jan 2020
This was such a magical experience!!! Truly a highlight of my trip. Every room was absolutely beautiful, the atmosphere was so relaxing, and the massage was much-needed after a long day. I would highly recommend this! My only complaint was an abrupt end to my 90 minutes. I was quickly rushed out, and would've appreciated a 10 or 15 minute warning that my time was coming to an end. Other than that, no complaints!!
It was nice visiting the baths and very relaxing after having been walking in the city for two days. The scrub and massage were very good. The only thing I didn’t like is that guests wash with bathing suits on before entering the baths. There are not separated showers for men and women
Seriously, we could have stayed here all day. Warm tub, hot tub, delicious tea, cold tub, steam room and repeat. Then get a massage. Then repeat. Why is this not available in the USA? Each tub was in an immaculate room that had high ceilings, gorgeous tile work, and had carvings modeled after Alhambra. So beautiful.
Not busy with other tourists, my husband and I often found ourselves in rooms alone. Get to your appointment early- I think this is why we had more privacy, because we started the circuits a touch before others.
Omg schedule an Arabic bath. Treat yourself. I'm back in Spain and need to schedule again!!
Succumb to tranquility at Granada’s Hammam Al Ándalus, opulent Arabian baths located in the heart of the historical Old Town. Enjoy relaxing amid candle-lit walkways and beautifully designed pools; then indulge with a massage from a professionally trained masseuse. Submerge yourself in the soothing waters of a thermal bath and inhale the scented aromas of the steam room while sipping fresh mint tea. Upgrade your experience to include a 30-minute Midra 30 or 45-minute Midra 45, both of which include an exfoliating body scrub.
Follow in the footsteps of sultans and Romantic poets on a guided tour of the Alhambra citadel and the palaces of Granada’s ancient Albaicín quarter, both declared UNESCO World Heritage sites. Hear the legends of Moorish Spain as you explore the ornate gardens and royal quarters of the hilltop Alhambra, and feel history come alive while wandering through the winding streets and Nasrid dynasty palaces of the city’s oldest neighborhood.
Gabriela was very informative. I was very impressed with how she made sure to keep all 30 of us informed in two languages without missing a beat. She was a delight - charismatic, entertaining, and answered everyone’s questions.
Escape the crowds and maximize your time in Granada’s magnificent the Alhambra on this tour. With a priority-access pass, you’ll be one of the first to enter the Alhambra — a UNESCO-listed landmark famed for its architecture — with a guide. Explore the Alcazaba Fortress, walk through the Generalife Gardens and take in panoramic views of Granada from Torre de la Vela.
Las Alpujarras Full-Day Tour with Lunch from Granada
Las Alpujarras Full day tour with lunch
, Nov 2019
The tour was excellent as we were fortunate to have good weather in November and the mountain tops were covered in snow.. The guide was excellent, cheerful and informative .
The only negative comment was the lunch. The honeyed aubergine and melon were fine but most of the main meal was left by everyone as was the red wine. Main meal comprised of cold fried egg, sliced potato which was hard and semi cold, a sausage that was uncuttable and black pudding.
This did not spoil our day as the views were spectacular, and the tapas tasting earlier on was excellent
Experience the unspoiled natural scenery and wonderful climate of the Las Alpujarras region on a full-day tour from Granada. Discover the famous medicinal spa town of Lanjaron, admire the remarkably rugged peaks of the Sierra Nevada, Spain’s highest mountain range, from a selection of idyllic vantage points, and feast upon a traditional Alpujarreno lunch while perched above the dramatic Ravine of Poquiera on this enriching excursion.
This was our first time in Spain and visiting some of the ancient sites. The tour of the Alhambra was amazing as was our tour guide. Our tour guide (Hamdi Tawfiq) was very good and supplied us with all kind of details and information as to the ancient goings of of the past along with relevant events of the times. All in all, a great tour.

Alhambra and Generalife guided tour in a premium small group.
, Aug 2019
The tour was originally for 6 people or less and turned out to be just two couples. My wife and I and a couple from the USA. The tour guide, Lucy was fantastic. She was so knowledgeable along with a great sense of humour. We have visited places before without a guide and after this experience, I am sure we have missed so much previously. The whole history of the Alhambra came to life in the passionate explanation provided by a local person from Granada. Loved it and would recommend the small group tour to anyone who has had a previous phobia for being on a guided tour. Thank you Lucy.

Alhambra: Nasrid Palaces & Generalife Ticket with Audioguide
Alhambra - great!
, Nov 2019
Magnificent setting and great to walk around for a whole day. Receiving the tickets through email and accessing the site was easy and generally without stress. Helped to use this site as all tickets on the Alhambra website were sold out well in advance. It is best to go early when there are less people to enjoy the serenity of the gardens.
We visit the Alhambra but where not that good prepared because we forgot to buy a ticket in avance. So we used the internet for options. Viator gave us the guarantee that we could visit the site. The site is worth the visit but it depends on how much you would like to pay... we payed 130 euro for 2p with audio guide... normally it’s just around 30 euro. So it really is a scam ... Viator is really a set up... but if you want to go you will be having tickets for the Alhambra!
I was in Andalucia for a business trip. Didn't plan to go to Granada. I tried everywhere for tickets but they said it needs 2 months in advance booking. I booked tickets into Nasrid Palace just one day before.
The audio was great, I didn't have to follow tour guides with bad english. The view was breathtaking.

We truly enjoyed this tour. Our guide, Veronica was very friendly, professional, fun and knowledgeable about the Albaicin and Sacramonte neighborhood. We’ve learned so much about the history of the gypsies who were natives of the Sacramonte area from Veronica. She shared many stories to us about the Arabs and Gypsies and how the town came about as it is now. Great sunset walking tour and the view was truly magical. We didn’t feel rushed and the walking tour was set on a pace that was pleasurable for everybody considering that the tour was mostly an uphill hike. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who is interested to see a great view of the city of Granada and the Alhambra at sunset.
Stroll through the scenic neighborhoods of Albayzin and Sacromonte at sunset on this walking tour. Take in views of the Alhambra from a lookout in San Nicolas as the sun sinks. Accompanied by your guide, learn about the history of the neighborhoods and snap photographs in the fading light.
Skip the Line: 1 Hour Flamenco Show Ticket in a Cave-Restaurant in Granada
Great experience in Granada
, Jan 2020
This was a highlight of our time in Granada. Although it’s a bit of a hike up the hill, the staff were welcoming when we arrived and gave us a table at the front of the stage. The show was amazing. The performers were all so passionate and it was clear that they were having a great time together. The location and decor in the cave added to the ambiance and we had an unforgettable night! We went to another flamenco performance the next night and it was nothing compared to this experience!!! Go see this. It’s brilliant!
Watching a traditional Flamenco performance is a highlight of any visit to Andalusia and this 1.5-hour dinner show is located in one of Granada’s most spectacular venues. Take your seats in the atmospheric cave-restaurant of El Templo del Flamenco, tuck into a delicious 2- or 5-course dinner, and be entertained by a thrilling live flamenco show.
Alhambra Private Tour: Endless Experiences With Skip the line
Amazing Tour Guide!
, Nov 2019
We went as a whole family and Maria was amazing, wonderful! Highly recommend the private tour as the Alhambra is huge and Maria explained all the highlights as well as background we would not have learned about in any other way. She was very well informed on all the historical detail and explained them in a very interesting and fun way! ASK FOR Maria.
Such a good tour! Our guide was phenomenal; my family booked this (9 people total, 3 kids) and we were able to see all the parts of the Alhambra in intimate detail/ask personalized questions. We even had some fussy kids in our group and our guide handled it like champ. It was so much less chaotic, like a neighbor showing you around. This was so nice compared to the huge groups that we passed by. Would highly recommend.
