Hanoi Jeep Tours - FOOD, CULTURE, SIGHT & FUN in Antique Gaz69 Jeep: 4.5 hours
Hanoi Jeep Jive
, Feb 2020
A fun, informative street-level tour of Hanoi, a fascinating and bustling city. The tour group is (necessarily) small, the ride is safe and the sites are unique and interesting. The guide was excellent.
We had an amazing food tour with Moon as our guide. She took Us to some amazing local spots they gave us a feel for what life is like living in Vietnam. I would highly recommend this tour. We had several food stops including some real local stops that you wouldn’t never find as a tourist.
Moon is a GREAT guide. I cannot say enough great thinks about her. She explained everything and answered all our questions.
The Jeep was a blast to ride around in the city. It is higher off the ground so you a great vantage point.
We had a great experience with Hanoi Back Street Tours! Hana in the office was so easy to work with.
For this tour Jesse and our driver took in in back alleys and side streets - places dark and where we probably would not have otherwise gone! A night market for “second hand” goods? Yup. Residential neighborhoods? Check. The famous train street? Done. The cutest little coffee shop? Mhmm.
It was just a lot of fun all around! Driving around Hanoi in an open-top vehicle was great but even better was having a tour guide who obviously loves his country and has so much hope for the future. Vietnam will be in good hands if everybody in the under-30 generation is as positive and hopeful as Jesse!

We really enjoyed our trip with go Asia travel, our tour-guide Duc was very helpful and provided interesting facts about Vietnam and the local area throughout. This trip was well organised and we had plenty of time at all three stops, we especially enjoyed the short bicycle trip! Thanks again Duc for the great experience!

Pretty good. The hike to the top gives you a great view and excellent picture opportunities. Boat ride was too long. (1hr 45) Would have preferred longer on the bikes to explore surrounding countryside.
I totally enjoyed this tour. It was amazing. If you've been to Halong Bay you will love this tour. It's better than Halong. We started with a "hike" up over 600 steps, which very fairly steep. I was only able to go up about 225 steps (bad knees!). Beautiful views from where I ended. Others in the group who made it said it was a great view. We then went for a bike ride to a temple and then biked to lunch, which was plentiful and very good. Back on bikes to the boat ride. (flat land)
This is where you see the "peddlers" row with there feet when arms need a rest. Beautiful scenery , you pass thru 3 caves. Took about 1:45 for the boat ride. Did I mention my peddler, was a 72 yr old lady! WOW. Very tranquil . Then back to the hustle of Hanoi. If you have a free day, do this tour , it was well worth it!

Great fun with Tra
, Nov 2019
Very informative tour with Tra, and the perfect length after a long journey into Hanoi. The shuttle car between sights was a welcome surprise and made the tour more enjoyable and action filled. Tra as a guide is totally endearing and simply hilarious. Knowledge was limited in some instances but overall she did great. Thank you

Don't hesitate to book this tour when you're in Hanoi but do so HUNGRY as there is A LOT of food to eat! Great value for what you pay & an awesome way to see the city/experience the traffic. Guides were awesome, copious amounts of delicious food & a lot of time to ride/digest in between the restaurants to sight see.
I have gotten into a pattern of always taking an evening food tour the first night I arrive in a new city. I think its a great way to get a feel for the area, the city, and the food. Of all the evening food tours I have taken- this has been my favorite by far. My buddy and I are not small guys, and I was a little apprehensive about being the passenger and at the mercy of the local guide and Hanoi traffic, but our guides (Ginger and Lan) did a great job of cruising us around the city with ease. Lan and Ginger's English was really good and they took tons of time to explain the various food dishes, city districts, and other local recommendations. Come hungry, and ready for a fun night. When I find myself back in Hanoi- I'll absolutely do this tour again, and will ask for Lan and Ginger specifically!
Taste your way through Vietnam’s capital city on this nighttime excursion. After a convenient hotel pickup, hop on a motorbike and savor complimentary dishes like Banh Cuon (steamed roll cake), Bun Cha (grilled pork with vermicelli noodles), and Banh ran Ngot (salty and sweet donuts). Get an insider’s view of Hanoi’s food scene while exploring sites like the Old Quarter, Ngu Xa village, and the local hangout “Train Street.”
Ninh Binh Daily Tour: Hoa Lu - Tam Coc boat trip and Bike
, Jan 2020
Overall tour was a fun one, though it could be better if it did not rain! Personally, we find the Tam Coc boat experience was a little too long. Our tour guide, Linn, was humorous and friendly. Recommended, worth the money.
This trip was well planned. Our group was split into smaller numbers at several sites so we had more personal attention from the guide. Also, it was organized according to ability to do more strenous tasks.
We enjoyed every aspect from the gentle boat ride with marvelous snapshot opportunities to the bike ride as the last activity. I felt we definitely got our money's worth for a full day of sightseeing and a respite from the traffic and chaos in Hanoi.

MUA CAVE -HOA LU -TAM COC Full Day Including Boat Entrance Fees and Lunch
Great day out from river to mountain top
, Dec 2019
Friendly English speaking tour guide. Airconditioned bus with good food choice at cafeteria style stop. Regular toilet stops. Mua Cave - best experience if you have enough fitness to climb up 400 stairs to top of mountain for spectacular view - or 200 stairs for midway. No rails. I am older but did it slowly with rests and it was OK. Pretty with places to sit below if you can't do steps. Boat ride enjoyable - be prepared to have local boat sellers ask you to buy something. Also for boat drivers to ask for a decent size tip from each passenger before you are dropped off. I did not do bike-ride option, instead had nice time walking in the village and having a 'coconut wine' in an outdoor bar. Very pleasant. This was a good trip to see a lot and do different things.
