I had an enjoyable moment with Mua Caves & Trang An boating. The scenery was too beautiful to describe.
The lunch buffet was good too.
However, I felt that I was shortchanged because I was not brought around to visit Hoa Lu although the bus stopped there. Instead I was rushed to catch the waiting taxi which was booked to take us to Mua Caves. I got no explanation for the omission but I guess it was due to hotel pick-up delay in which I was only picked up 30 minutes later than the stated time. It took about an hour to pickt all the passengers from Old Quarters. In the bus, the tour guide informed that there will be 2 groups, first group is fir the Bai Dinh - Trang An tour & the second was for Mua Caves - Tam Coc tour. I had to approach the tour guide to explain to her that I had a different one. She said she would check. Then, at the rest stop, a few of us was asked to change bus for our destined tour.
I am not sure what really happened but I missed out on the Hoa Lu visit.
I would have give this tour a 5 if not for this.
