Hanoi Hop-On Hop-Off Bus: 24-Hour Sightseeing Tour Pass
Guide on her bus as well as driver. Timing and audio totally in time
, Feb 2020
We took this tour and chose and chose it although it was lower on the list of options. Having a guide on 5e bus as well as the driver was very helpful and she went out of her way to ensure we knew where to go once we left the bus. The bus ran to the exact time it said in its booklet and the audio guide was in synch with the sites. Thoroughly recommend very helpful driver snd guide

Hanoi Jeep Tours - FOOD, CULTURE, SIGHT & FUN in Antique Gaz69 Jeep: 4.5 hours
Hanoi Jeep Jive
, Feb 2020
A fun, informative street-level tour of Hanoi, a fascinating and bustling city. The tour group is (necessarily) small, the ride is safe and the sites are unique and interesting. The guide was excellent.
We had an amazing food tour with Moon as our guide. She took Us to some amazing local spots they gave us a feel for what life is like living in Vietnam. I would highly recommend this tour. We had several food stops including some real local stops that you wouldn’t never find as a tourist.
Moon is a GREAT guide. I cannot say enough great thinks about her. She explained everything and answered all our questions.
The Jeep was a blast to ride around in the city. It is higher off the ground so you a great vantage point.
We had a great experience with Hanoi Back Street Tours! Hana in the office was so easy to work with.
For this tour Jesse and our driver took in in back alleys and side streets - places dark and where we probably would not have otherwise gone! A night market for “second hand” goods? Yup. Residential neighborhoods? Check. The famous train street? Done. The cutest little coffee shop? Mhmm.
It was just a lot of fun all around! Driving around Hanoi in an open-top vehicle was great but even better was having a tour guide who obviously loves his country and has so much hope for the future. Vietnam will be in good hands if everybody in the under-30 generation is as positive and hopeful as Jesse!

Great fun with Tra
, Nov 2019
Very informative tour with Tra, and the perfect length after a long journey into Hanoi. The shuttle car between sights was a welcome surprise and made the tour more enjoyable and action filled. Tra as a guide is totally endearing and simply hilarious. Knowledge was limited in some instances but overall she did great. Thank you

Don't hesitate to book this tour when you're in Hanoi but do so HUNGRY as there is A LOT of food to eat! Great value for what you pay & an awesome way to see the city/experience the traffic. Guides were awesome, copious amounts of delicious food & a lot of time to ride/digest in between the restaurants to sight see.
I have gotten into a pattern of always taking an evening food tour the first night I arrive in a new city. I think its a great way to get a feel for the area, the city, and the food. Of all the evening food tours I have taken- this has been my favorite by far. My buddy and I are not small guys, and I was a little apprehensive about being the passenger and at the mercy of the local guide and Hanoi traffic, but our guides (Ginger and Lan) did a great job of cruising us around the city with ease. Lan and Ginger's English was really good and they took tons of time to explain the various food dishes, city districts, and other local recommendations. Come hungry, and ready for a fun night. When I find myself back in Hanoi- I'll absolutely do this tour again, and will ask for Lan and Ginger specifically!
Taste your way through Vietnam’s capital city on this nighttime excursion. Hanoi Countryside Motorbike Tours - Vintage Minsk Motorcycle: 4.5 hours
Everything! Riding through some of the countryside, the guide, lunch, local visit, and coffee!
, Jan 2020
This excursion was fantastic. My boyfriend and I are in our 30s and 40s and pretty fit. Not that it matters that much but you need to be comfortable riding on the back of the bike going through the chaotic traffic of Hanoi and on some back roads. Probably not good for timid people. We loved meeting a local at the ceramic town and having tea and candy with him. Our guide's name was John. He was engaging and fun to be with and quite knowledgeable. The lunch place was also amazing and The Hidden Gem coffee shop he took us to was also terrific! One recommendation is to bring smaller bills/dong to tip.
Great trip to the outskirts of Hanoi on moterbikes, you will love
, Dec 2019
I made this trip in early December. It has been wonderful. The motorbikes are great and with Dory I had a great guide. She has a great knowledge about many things, always a big smile and is a very safe driver. We went to several places (pottery, farming site, an old village at the banks of the red river and were also invited to the house of an older vietnamese man, who is collecting funny potteres). Also the food and coffee was superb.
If you ever thought about doing this trip: Stop thinking and book it. You will love it.
Snow is an extraordinary guide. As she led us through markets, plantations, restaurants, and neighborhoods, she’s connected to local people, who smile seeing her coming. Her tour gives you access to off-the-beaten path locales, where real people live, with background information about how they live day-to-day life. Definitely book with confidence.
Venture away from the hustle and bustle of Hanoi and explore the countryside on a vintage Minsk motorbike. Explore the villages along the Red River Delta and learn about what daily life is like for these local residents. Admire the beautiful scenery of farmlands and estuaries and end the tour at the 1000-year-old ceramic village of Bat Trang to learn about the ancient art.

We did this tour the first day we arrived. Well worth it. We did 7 stops leisurely evening with a group of 8 people. Chin very knowledgeable. Make a note of what you liked and where it was located because you will never remember where it was.

Small-Group Hanoi Street Food Tour with a Real Foodie
Wonderful way to taste authentic Vietnamese cuisine
, Feb 2020
What an awesome and authentic tour. Our guide B was super friendly and showed the group a lot of hidden gems anyone could have easily overlooked. He also sent an email on different food to try and where to find them. It was a tasteful and great experience!
Really good, the guide (Kelly) was very knowledgable and friendly and all the food was great, tailoring it to the tastes and dietary needs of the group. Would highly recommend, just make sure you don’t have a big breakfast beforehand.
We had an amazing afternoon with Andy! It was our first introduction to Hanoi. We learned so much about the history, food and culture. Andy is extremely knowledgeable and personable and made everything come alive. The food was fantastic.,, I’m sure I would not have had the same experience if I had attempted this on my own. I would highly recommend this tour and our guide Andy!

Delicious Hanoi Street Food
, Oct 2019
After taking multiple food tours in Ho Chi Minh, I was a bit worried we’d be trying the same foods. However, we let our tour guide know what we’d tried, and she made sure we tried foods unique to Hanoi/Northern Vietnam (and also some truly amazing Banh Mi that I’ll forever think about!) We also got to spend some time walking the Old Quarter of Hanoi.
Unfortunately, we did have an allergy issue that made for a miserable experience with someone in our party. Our tour guide DID tell the first restaurant, as they prepared a separate “no peanuts” dish, but we still ended up with an allergic reaction. I’m not sure what she could have done differently, but it definitely had an adverse effect on the one person in our group, who was sick for the rest of the tour.
Also, we only received the “backstory” on about 3 of the 5 dishes we tried. I was expecting to try a few more dishes, but we all were full after 5.
It takes a local to navigate the Old Quarter’s warren of back streets and identify the best street food. On this walking tour, your foodie guide will introduce you to at least seven separate Vietnamese dishes and drinks—from egg coffee and “banh mi” sandwiches through to fresh beer and noodle soup—as they explain Hanoi’s food culture and ingredients. They’ll even collect you from your Old Quarter hotel.
Hanoi Old Quarter Walking Street Food - Small Group Tour
Excellent street food tour!
, Oct 2019
I highly recommend this excellent tour. It'a a great value - six different stops for a variety of authentic Vietnamese Street foods. Our guide Lucy was very knowledgeable and friendly. and the food was great! It's a walking tour, so one gets a great sense of the Old Quarter. We ate at places we would not have gone to on our own, including a great coffee place hidden in the back of a second floor building.
Explore Hanoi’s Old Quarter on foot with a foodie guide who introduces you to local cuisine. This street food tour takes you off the beaten path to food stalls and local eateries in the capital city. Sample authentic dishes and learn about Vietnamese cuisine as you discover the traditional guilds of ‘36 Old Streets.’ Handcrafted souvenir included.
B was an absolute gem! The tour was worth every cent and if I go back to Vietnam I would do it again, it was that good. The tour was nice and small which meant we had a very nice personal tour (4 of us in total)
B was very flexible and collected me directly from the Hotel (which was sooo much appreciated - as anyone would know navigating that traffic is a skill).
B's English skills was also very very good (cant believe u learnt off youtube!!) he was very friendly and knowledgeable about Vietnam and their culture. He was happy to answer 'off the topic - non food related questions' and took us to some amazing local eating places (which you would totally miss if you didn't do this tour).
B made it very easy for us purchasing the food and paying for the food - all we had to do was eat and be merry! All the food was soo good, i didn't not like anything. We left quite full too - so best to empty stomached.
B also went above and beyond after the tour ended and took us back to get wheasle coffee which was really nice (he did't have to do that!) and also offered to take us back to the hotel.
B again is amazing!!! Hope you guys are lucky enough to have a tour with him.
Delicious food with a friendly, knowledgeable guide. We did this tour on our second day in Hanoi and it was a great way to sample local cuisine, eat at local restaurants off the beaten path and see various sights. Definitely a worthwhile experience!
Hanoi is known for its tasty street eats, but knowing what to sample takes insider knowledge. On this local-led foodie tour, you’ll escape the tourist track and learn where locals prefer to eat. Taste an array of regional foods and beverages, learning the little-known historical background of each dish. You’ll also discover the history and architecture of Old Hanoi along the way.
The first capital of Vietnam, Hoa Lu is an area brimming with historical and cultural importance. It is also an area of outstanding natural beauty, unspoilt by modern day developments. Hoa Lu & Tam Coc are often referred to as the Ha Long Bay on land, and it is clear to see why. The natural limestone peaks jut out of the land creating a rugged landscape which fades into the horizon.
Great tour to see the sights of Hanoi old quarter, we felt very safe with our respective rider taking us around to see various sites in this very busy city.
We particularly enjoyed the Hanoi Hilton prison tour and food stop at the end of our tour.
Big thanks to the female riders who we trusted with our lives and a big thank you to Annie who was the tour guide.
This tour was so much fun! I've never ridden on a motorbike before but after just a few minutes with my driver, I felt comfortable and stable. I felt very safe the entire time, even with the hectic Hanoi traffic - and had a great time on the back of the bike.
At each stop, we discovered some history or had some delicious food and while we were riding we were able to talk with our driver who pointed out historical or significant places. Even with the rush of wind, or rumble of nearby engines, it was easy to have a discussion on the bike.
Kick off your Hanoi stay with a half-day motorbike tour of the city. Sit bak and relax as local drivers transport you through the main streets and back alleys of this Vietnamese destination. Cruise past iconic landmarks, sample local cuisine and choose from one of three tour options to meet your interests and needs. This is the perfect way to get acclimated to the city and begin to explore with the wind in your hair!
