Harry was an amazing guide, his English is fantastic and he has great energy and enthusiasm. Highlights were meeting the local vendors and being invited inside their workplaces and homes so warmly, the delicious food and great company. This tour lets you see a side of Hoi An you would miss with a larger tour.
We went on our first day in Hoi An and it was a great chance to get familiar with the local sites and recommendations for the rest of our stay.
Thank you Harry!!!
Thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon with Emily and Coco. They were both so friendly and excited on the tour. We saw an insight into Hoi An that you wouldn’t normally see just walking around by yourself. You get to try a lot on the food tour so make sure you have an empty stomach! They took as to a local place that served Hoi An’s signature Cau Lau dish and it was the best we had while we were there. Finished the tour off at a great cafe with the best views in Hoi An. Highly recommend this tour.

Super fun afternoon/evening. We were picked up promptly at our hotel and transported by minibus to the riverside where we boarded a couple of sampan boats (and loaned Non La hats) for the short trip to the island. We were a group of four who were joined by probably 10 others - young and retired - Canadians, South Koreans, Aussies, Dutch, German and French who divided up amicably into two smaller groups. Our teacher/chef Hing was excellent and fun and we learned how to prepare four or five local dishes and enjoyed sitting down to eat the fruits of our labour at the end of the evening. I highly recommend the tour.
We really enjoyed this cooking class. It was our family and a young couple from the Netherlands. OUr host (sorry -- I forget her name) did a great job with instructions and information and keeping everyone involved. The food was delicious!
My boyfriend and I took the evening class and we really enjoyed it. Tin Tin, the chef explained us all the herbs and ingredients before cooking and we were just four so the class was perfect. After cooking we enjoyed the delicious meals in a beautiful place! Thanks Tin Tin, we'll try to do our best in Spain 😊
Engage all your senses with a sunset cooking class held on Thuan Tinh island, a serene escape that's a short shuttle and boat ride away from the bustle of Hoi An. At a semi-outdoor kitchen overlooking a coconut forest, learn to prepare four authentic Vietnamese dishes like spring rolls, braised clay pot fish, and pork-stuffed cabbage. As the sun sets, sit down to savor your hard work under hanging lanterns while chatting with fellow travelers.
An excellent way to see parts of Hoi An you probably wouldn't wander into on your own visiting a number of family run food businesses as well as sampling a wide range of local food. Our guide was very knowledgeable and was able to expand information in response to questions. Great small group tour. Warning - have a small lunch as you certainly get your monies worth in terms of food quantity!
Just two of us on this tour. Great night checking out some food places we may not have otherwise visited. Our guide Nam Pham was very happy to share his knowledge of food and also Vietnamese culture in general.

Done a couple of cooking tours, but this one was even better as it had a bit of everything. We did the morning tour and after a pick up at our hotel we first walked around the markets and our guide Nhu explained everything we didn't know. We then got on a boat and did a trip up the river, then got on a bamboo boat for a quick row (and our rower and my husband tried to beat the others to shore!!). Next a quick buffalo cart ride and photos on the buffalo if you wanted. Once at Sabirama we were treated to a foot massage, then into the cooking. We did 4 courses in total, and they were all tasty and fun to make. I was very proud of my tomato rose :) . Our guide Nhu made the day lots of fun - thank you - and I would recommend this tour to anyone with half a day free in Hoi An.
