Very good informational tour and the host was enthusiastic. My favorite thing was how a tour guide on another event the day before ensured us there were NO cruises at this time of year and we were lied to. Not so. Had a great time. Even in the huge snowstorm. Bartender was amiable she served great drinks. Highly recommend. Lots of great stories and loved seeing places on the river we wouldn’t have otherwise seen.
Our tour guide was fabulous and hilarious! Our February tour was great - it was 39 degrees but sunny and we weren’t cold at all during the experience! There is a heated cabin on the boat that has speakers to enjoy the tour from a warm spot if passengers are cold. 10/10 would recommend this tour!

We love taking the Hop on Hop Off Tours. This covers the main route of where you want to go downtown. Reason for only 3 stars is that the bus only comes once an hour. Also in January bus was FREEZING!! Seemed to have no heat.
Had an incredible experience touring the city. Bongi was an excellent guide, informative, knowledgeable, and engaging throughout. There was so much to take in I never even noticed the cold weather until it was all over!

Laura was a terrific tour guide- I HIGHLY recommend her and this tour!!! It was by far the best part of our trip! Laura engaged us the perfect amount, shared so many interesting details, and obviously loves what she does! I will use this company to tour again and again. You won’t regret it!
David is an excellent and a very friendly tour guide. He showed us some wonderful places in Chicago and made me fall in love with the city's architecture. And boy that deep dish pizza at the end of the tour, was just perfect finish to a morning well spent. Highly recommended.

Can't do it all, should have planned only one venue per day
, Oct 2019
We were able to use only two of the tickets due to the hours of venues and distance and fatigue, and our timeframe. The Field and the Art Museum take so much time, and we didn't even see all of either one. Am very disappointed we didn't get to the Shedd ot the planetarium. It was expensive to keep taking cabs to various places that looked walkable on the map.
The Chicago CityPASS was an excellent way to see some of the best museums and landmarks for the city. We easily saved over $70-$80 each with the pass and it allowed you special perks at most of the venues. You will need a few days to go through some of the massive museums, but well worth it.

Beautiful panoramic view from the 103rd floor. The glass edge isn’t for the faint-hearted, however if you‘re brave enough to go there it‘ll take your breath away. Recommended for amazing, insta-worthy snaps. Will definitely be back!
VERY Long long wait, we almost left. Exactly Like waiting for a Amusement park ride. We were waiting for 2 hours and you get 60 seconds to take as many pics as you want. OR buy their pics. View and floor experience was great. We Went to a Bears game the following day and didn’t have to wait at all to get in or to go pee.

Miranda, our tour guide was a wealth of knowledge. Our driver was fun and did a great job. I would’ve liked to have seen a few more actual artifact from prohibition beyond the news articles and doorways. But overall, a lot of fun. I’d go again.
We had a tour hosted by Miranda, she was good fun and had loads of information you could see she was really interested in her topic. The bars we went to were lovely as where the drinks. Came away having had a great time and wanting to go and find out more about the era as she had got us interested.
This was an outstanding tour providing very interesting and fun information about the Prohibition era in Chicago. Visited four former Speakeasies and saw the former haunts of Al Capone and Frank Nitti, among others. Miranda was an excellent tour guide who helped make this an exceptional evening. She has a unique sense of humor that makes her perfect for this tour and which we thoroughly enjoyed. We highly recommend this!
Visit four historic bars in operation since Prohibition in Chicago, and learn from a knowledgeable guide about the surreptitious world of the speakeasy. This adults-only tour takes you by coach to once-illicit establishments in Old Town, Wicker Park and the Chicago Loop where liquor, jazz and mobsters ruled. You’ll hear about Chicago gangsters like Al Capone and learn the historical context for the decade-long ban of alcohol. If you’d like, you can purchase recommended craft cocktails and signature drinks of the 1920s.
We were in Chicago for New Year’s and had an afternoon to kill on NY day. The G and G tour was perfect!!! We had no idea how corrupt and mysterious Chicago’s past was. It was an excellent history lesson on the formative decades in Chicago and some of its more notorious denizens. Conor was outstanding! Well informed, interesting and showed us much about the history and architecture. We would definitely do another and recommend it to friends.
This tour was extremely interesting. The historian was very knowledgeable in gangster history as well as Chicago lore. Walking tour gives you a chance to see the architecture of the dynamic buildings while learning some history that even a Chicago native never knew.

This was all a bit corny and amateurish, but that’s Part of the charm. The service was solid with the crew in character interacting with the customers and making sure everyone had fun. Drinks were good, food was acceptable.
My husband and I knew this would be a fun evening when we had to have a password to enter the establishment. We were greeted by characters in gangster attire and escorted to our table. As we were getting ready to be served, the entertainment started with jokes and music. The food was good and the service was great. The show was Interactive and you really got a feel for the life of the gangsters in the twenties and thirties. We would definitely go back to see another show.
Transport yourself back in time to Chicago’s roaring twenties at Tommy Gun’s Garage, a unique speakeasy dinner show in the Windy City. Say the password at the front door and then step into an era of mob guys and flappers, Broadway tunes by Cole Porter and George Gershwin and lively dances like the Charleston. This gut-busting show, full of song, dance and audience participation, is sure to please.

Interesting information about some of Chicago’s historic bldgs. Our guide, Ellen, was very knowledgeable and answered our many questions. Though not for everyone, if you do like skyscraper architecture you’ll find this tour worthwhile.

I have done this tour twice now and feel like it is an excellent way to get to know a little bit more of the city and it’s architecture without overkill. It’s location is easy to find (just go to Wrigley building and go down the stairs to the river), the personnel are nice to deal with, and the boat is comfortable. The experience of going through a lock on a boat is fun and unique, and the overall views of the city from out on the lake are extraordinary. Although both guides I had were very knowledgeable, our first, an older gentleman, was better-paced and added more anecdotal information which was entertaining.

What a Great Show! - perfect for a date night/anniversary
, Dec 2019
I planned a surprise for my wife to watch the Blue Man show on our 5 year anniversary, the moment she found out we were thrilled. We both absolutely loved it, we had a great time. We laughed, enjoyed the music, drums and the blue man crew’s performance. Our 5 year anniversary evening couldn’t not be better. These guys are just amazing, the show is built around live interaction with the audience. Everyone in the audience wanted to get picked by the Blue Man so they can go up on stage, it was an electrifying atmosphere. We were seated in Row P, after walking in the theatre we noticed that people seated in the front rows were given plastic coveralls/ponchos to wear. So if you don’t want to get splashed during the show back rows are the best. Highly recommend watching the Blue Man show, I can assure you that you will have a great time guys!

The tour was great fun. The guides were very informative and fun. Donuts great!! It was fun to see different places in the city and learn about this donut shops. I took my 6 year old grandson and he really enjoyed in also.
We stopped at 4 places and they were all very good. So many different choices and really delicious donuts. Jackson and Addison were very friendly and knowledgeable. Only reason we gave a 4 star is because it was a big group...30 people or so. But it worked out fine in the end.
My husbanc, daughter and I went on the underground donut tour led by Addison last week.
It was a great tour, there were plenty of donuts to sample and Addison had a wealth of information regarding donuts. It was a fun and entertaining tour. We were lucky we found this and will recommend it to our friends that plan on visiting Chicago.

Faith was an energetic, knowledgeable tour guide that was engaging from the beginning! I had expected food samples, but there was plenty of food. Faith took very good care of each of us, going above and beyond to make us happy with the tour. I would recommend this tour to anyone!
