Maligne lake and Medicine lake are having such lovely views. We even did a cruise after the trip on maligne lake to get closer to the glacier. The falls and streams end route were so pretty. We got to see American black bears too. The maligne canyon was a good outing too.

The tour guides were most informative and very knowledgeable. Photos do not really capture how beautiful Spirit Island and Medicine Lake are, they are both breathtaking. It is a trip that will be remembered for a very long time. Our friends and family are enjoying the photos we were able to capture. It is truly one of the highlights of my life.

Picked up by our driver, who was also our guide for the day, from our hotel in Jasper. Excellent commentary throughout the day, taking in Maligne Lake and Medicine Lake. Amazing reflections in the lakes from the surrounding mountains and trees. We did the hike at the end of the tour which was great around the lake, but not so enjoyable walking through the trees back due to the mosquitoes guide was great with repellant to hand. Probably if I did this tour again I would take the Spirit Island cruise instead of the hike, as we didn't get to see Spirit Island on our walk.

We enjoyed this trip and thought it good value for money. The only slight disappointment was that because of failing daylight we were not able to continue up from Medicine Lake to Maligne Lake which we had particularly wanted to see. But all in all very enjoyable.
