I was worried at first that it will be hard to navigate and do both attractions but everything is so organized and clear that everything went smooth. The bus guides were very informative and the experience was great
Well organized and informative! The center was very interesting also. The big snow buses were fantastic and drivers were fabulous. Loved walking on the glacier and getting pictures! Well worth it! So glad we did and really recommend it!

Jasper National Park Tour: Maligne Valley, Medicine Lake and Spirit Island
A wonderful experience with a tremendous guide
, Nov 2019
On the spur of the moment we decided to do a Fall trip to Banff and Jasper to see the gorgeous Canadian Rockies. The highlight of the trip turned out to be the day we spent on this excursion with a guide who was not only extremely well informed about the geology, wildlife and botany of the area but also wonderfully entertaining and witty. Booking this excursion was easy and the pick up at the hotel made things effortless. The day was well worth it and the cruise up the lake was definitely easier than the several hour hike for our older bones. We saw moose, elk, and a variety of other animals (including some extremely ignorant Asians who thought it "cute" to hold their baby up to the face of a 600+ pound moose). Foolish foreigners aside, this trip is a must.
Experience the most incredible sights in Jasper National Park’s Maligne Valley during this guided excursion to the region’s most scenic lakes and majestic canyons. Check out Medicine Lake, Maligne Canyon, and Maligne Lake during your trip, keeping your eyes out for area wildlife and learning about the unique natural history (and more recent human settlement) of the Canadian Rockies. Over the course of the day, you also get to enjoy short walks through the beautiful scenery, and choose between a boat ride or guided hike at Maligne Lake. Your Maligne Valley trip also includes round-trip transport from your Jasper hotel.
Absolutely brilliant. They take you up the lake to spirit island where you can stop off and take pictures. Well worth the money and the staff are very friendly and provide lots of helpful information along the way. Views are sensational even on a cloudy day.

The stops were perfect to see everything we wanted to see whilst keeping the trip going and arriving at our destination not too late - Peto lake is defiantly a hidden gem !
Great trip with Norm (The farm boy from Saskatchewan) who was very informative, especially as regards bears.
Great trip on the Athabasca glacier on the big snow tractor buses. Also the stunning visit to Peyto lake, colours were amazing.

5.5-Hour Jasper Wildlife and Waterfalls Tour with Maligne Lake Cruise from Jasper
, Sep 2019
Tour was great. Guide very knowledgeable. Main COMPLAINT - booked tour in Canada through Viatour Canadian site .... quoted in $Canadian but BILLED in $US. Total rip off and most likely illegal. Viatour very difficult to reach customer service. After 40 min on phone they said there was nothing they would due!! Promised to look into discrepancies and try to ‘fix it’. Viatour is a Trip Advisor company. BEWARE WHEN BOOKING FROM CANADA!!!!
Having a guide like Ross, a wildlife photographer, made this an unforgettable adventure. We saw Elk, big horn sheep and mule deer as well as countless sights we will never forget. The cruise of Maligne Lake and tour of Spirit Island were the highlight of our trip to he Canadian Rockies. Carlos was our guide and his extensive knowledge and sense of humor made this aspect very special. I recommend this tour without reservation and hope others have the opportunity to experience this part of Canada from this special perspective.
First of all, special thanks to our guide John. He was excellent. He was knowledgeable, funny and very courteous. He made the trip!
The trip was very good and we saw a grizzly bear as well as rare owls and eagles.

The vastness and dynamic energy happening in a Glacier is awesome. Chris our guide was knowledgeable and constantly checked the welfare of guests in his charge. He provided a safe up close experience of the Glacier. The red bus tours and folks visiting on their own likely weren’t as safe or given an experience instead of just a site seeing tour. I highly recommend Rockaboo Mountain tours.

The pickup at the hotel was on-time, and the arrival time at the airport was on time. The coach was comfortable and had 110V electric between the seats for charging. The driver loaded and unloaded the luggage.
They have a very well coordinated process for how they pick people up from the different hotels and then distribute them on to the actual bus at the depot. It helps avoid the usual stopping at every single other hotel. Our bus was not particularly full, it was very empty actually, as a result I arrived early which was nice. The bus itself was very modern, clean, and comfortable, and the driver was excellent.

Trip was very well organized from bus pick up, to process of changing into rafting suits, organizing into teams/boats. Our instructor was very young guy from Ottawa, who has demonstrated not only ability to lead the boat, but also tell us interesting facts about wild life, mountains and nature we saw along our path. It was 14km length trip on the water, which took us a bit over an hour to complete. It was my first experience and I have to say very positive and happy one!!! I highly recommend this activity!!!
