The Basics

Set sail across the Caribbean Sea on a speedboat or catamaran cruise to Saona Island to spend a day swimming, snorkeling, and sunbathing at the island's beaches and lagoons. Full-day Saona Island tours run from Punta Cana, La Romana, Bayahibe Beach, and Santo Domingo, and often include visits to mainland sights such as Altos de Chavon. Alternatively, arrive in style on a private helicopter to enjoy spectacular views along the island's southern coast.

Full-Day Small-Group Saona Island Tour
Melvin is so personable. He gives history of the Dominican Republic and the places you're visiting. Great places/beaches. Melvin makes the food and juices provided. He also ensures your safety and to avoid the crowds. The people that work with Melvin are wonderful as well. 100% recommend.

Everything was great except the crowd on the island and very expensive photos. The tour guide was also good and Altos de Chavon was really a great experience

Saona Island Tour with Lunch and Pickup
The trip was great, our tour guide was very nice (also spoke English), there was not a lot of waiting time and I really loved the energy and atmosphere during the whole day. First I was very sceptical due to all the negative reviews, but I must say that it was all in vain. The trip was very well organized and everything ran very smoothly. Would recommend!

Full-Day Small-Group Saona Island Tour
We had a great trip, we were debating between this and the classic soana island trip, but decided for this one due to the more personal experience, glad we decided to go for this one. We had an amazing trip and I loved that Melvin took pictures for us during the trip and air dropped them to us afterwards, rather than us charged an extortionate price for the pictures like other trips in DR

Saona Island Private Tour with 3 different Beaches for Small Groups
If you are looking to get away from the crowds this is a great tour. The guide was good, however more local and national heritage would have been welcome. Getting to know your guests also add to the entire experience
