Grand Canyon Skywalk

Daily 7am - 6pm
Eagle Point Road, Peach Springs, Arizona, 86434

The Basics

Most tours to the Grand Canyon Skywalk begin in Las Vegas, where travelers head east to the Arizona desert by road, plane, or helicopter. A Skywalk ticket can be combined with a Hoover Dam trip or a scenic helicopter tour over the canyon, while other options include visits with Hualapai tribe members or a boat ride up the Colorado River. Those short on time can opt for a skip-the-line experience.

Grand Canyon West Rim Bus Tour & Hoover Dam Photo Stop with Optional Skywalk
We had a great time! Bus was clean and the tour guide was funny. The Grand Canyon was breath taking especially on the sky walk. Just wish we were able to stop on the Hoover Dam to actually see the dam. I'm glad the weather wasn't too hot to enjoy the views. Would do the tour again!

Grand Canyon West Rim Bus Tour & Hoover Dam Photo Stop with Optional Skywalk
Patrick leads an excellent tour…even when mishaps occur. We had an incident on the bus and Patrick and Raymond took care of it, while remaining calm, taking us to an extra spot to pass the time as they cleaned up, and they even were able to keep us on schedule. They provided plenty of cold water (it was hot) and Patrick didn’t talk too much (other reviewers said they talk and talk and talk.) great tour for a family, couple, and teens.

Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, 7 Magic Mountains Small Group VIP Tour
Everything was perfect! Our tour guide, Jose, was very knowledgable, he took the best photos for us, we had a couple extra stops along the way, and he made sure we were well prepped for each stop- knowing exactly what to expect and what we would need. He was hysterical throughout the trip but serious about safety concerns. Excellent driver and wonderfully prompt! I would highly recommend this tour!

Grand Canyon West VIP at the Rim Helicopter Tour with Optional Skywalk
The helicopter portion of the tour was great. The pilot was informative and ensured our safety. I appreciate the extra time the vendor took regarding delaying the flight due to the rainy weather. The time wasn’t long enough to do everything in the Grand Canyon.

How to Get There

Because the Grand Canyon Skywalk is a part of Grand Canyon West—a remote and rugged section of canyon managed by the Hualapai—entry to the bridge can only be purchased as part of a package excursion. While many visitors come on a guided tour, it’s also possible to drive yourself to Grand Canyon West, then take the hop-on hop-off shuttle to the Skywalk and other attractions.

When to Get There

Daytime temperatures at the Grand Canyon hover at or above 85°F (30°C) in summer, making fall and spring much more appealing times to visit. The glass bridge tends to be busiest around midday, so plan to arrive in the morning or later in the afternoon to ensure you have more elbow room.

Other Activities at Grand Canyon West

The Grand Canyon West complex lies outside the national park and is operated by the Hualapai tribe. In addition to the Skywalk, visitors can explore an American Indian village at Eagle Point, cruise along the Colorado River, hike to the ruins of an old guano mine, or even rent a rustic cabin at Hualapai Ranch.
