Meet your local host Ciara at the entrance to the local Milk market in Limerick city, a busy and lively canopy-covered market. As you walk around and discover local and regional produce sold by Ciara's favored vendors (many of whom she knows very well), you'll purchase a few ingredients for your vegan cooking demo. In Ciara's charming kitchen, you will learn to cook a global vegan meal from recipes she has created on her own. Your meal may include dishes such as a smoked carrot pate served on black cabbage with a dill dressing, an aubergine and wild mushroom pie topped with sweet potato and crunchy radishes, and a dessert of chocolate and coconut cake or chocolate mint mousse. Your cooking demonstration will last about two hours, during which you will watch Ciara make three different dishes from scratch, while chatting, eating and helping her prepare a few of the ingredients for the meal. Once the food is ready, you will sit down together to enjoy the meal.
