Highlights in a Day: Vintgar Gorge, Bled, Postojna Cave, Predjama Castle
, Nov 2019
This was a great way to see a lot of the highlights in Slovenia in just one day! The tour was great, our guide was a lot of fun and I never felt rushed, we had plenty of time to see all of the places we went to! I definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking for a well organized full day of exploring!
Wonderful day with a program of spectacular visits.
, Nov 2019
Excellent tourist guide and excellent driver, Tara is an example of professionalism, friendliness and welcome. Tourist information given at the right time, always with very interesting complementary elements.
Highly recommend this program and Tara.
Great tour to see some of the highlights of Slovenia in one day!
, Oct 2019
We did not have long to spend in Slovenia, and this trip fit our needs perfectly. The Gorge was beautiful and did not disappoint. Bled, Postojna Cave and Predjama Castle were also great sites to visit. Tara was our guide and was fantastic! So friendly, full of information and kept us on schedule so that we could fit everything ok - can't say enough about how great she was. Highly recommend this tour and Tara!

We had a fantastic time on our tour to Vintgar Gorge and Lake Bled this past Saturday! Tara, our guide, was so friendly and very knowledgeable of the area which made the tour even better. Both locations are absolutely beautiful and a must see if you are visiting Slovenia. Our only recommendation is to wear comfortable shoes for the hike at Vintgar Gorge. Would highly recommend this tour!
Informative. Guide was born and lives in lake bled municipality. Knew enough to have us to the gorge early to beat the crowd. Because the path through the gorge is narrow, beating the crowd makes a big difference in being able to enjoy this exceptionally scenic spot.
Surround yourself with the natural landscape of Slovenia on this 6-hour trip to Lake Bled. Visit the Church of the Assumption, Bled Island, and Vintgar Gorge. Hotel pickup and drop-off in Ljubljana, entrance fees, and boat rental fee included. Travel with a small group of just eight people, which ensures personalized attention and an intimate atmosphere.
Our guide Urban was an excellent tour guide giving good information with a sense of humour. The main sites we saw included gorgeous Lake Bled, glacial Lake Bohinj, Vintgar Gorge and Skofja Loka, a charming non-touristy village. Lovely day.
Our tour—just 3 of us—was fine. Bled didn’t disappoint. The day ended on a sour note when we all 3 misunderstood our instructions from the driver:guide, Valentina. At the gorge, she told us to either walk to the last bridge then turn around and come back, or she would meet us at the end. We opted to meet her at the end, altho she didn’t explain clearly that that meant we’d walk 30 minutes on a dusty, hilly road away from the river.
We eventually had to call the office to get picked up. Valentina seemed frustrated with us, even though all 3 of us felt that the instructions were unclear. She never took responsibility and never apologized. She even told us we were the first group to do this, making us feel even more stupid. (And we were not a stupid group!).
In the end, we made it back safe. Lesson learned: Don’t give confusing “options” that can be misconstrued, and apologize when your customers are unhappy.

Primož was a fantastic tour guide friendly, knowledgeable and organised. It felt like we packed a lot of great attractions and some beautiful locations into one day. Primož was also very adaptable and let us have a say in where we wanted to go in between the main attractions. Overall we had a great day.
Really from the beginning to the very end we add fun. Our group was amazing and Tusi (our guide) was spectacular. Breathtaking time in Škocjan cave system, white horses at Lipica and ending with beautiful sea and seafood at Piran. Even the car ride was great since we were always taking and laughing

Postojna Cave and Predjama Castle Tour from Ljubljana
, Jan 2020
Barbara was a fantastic guide, very informative and attentive to everyone's needs in the group. Everything ran smoothly and on time, and both attractions are well worth visiting. Barbara will provide plenty of additional advice about travelling elsewhere in Slovenia as well.
Very good well put together trip, firstly to caves which were incredible. I have never seen such a vast amount if caves sone if which is covered on a train and a cerrain amount on foot. After some spare time where I managed to get some lunch continued to castle which is an amazing as set in cliffs with many levels (not suitable if you have trouble walking) with an accompanying audio guide. A unique fortress

Venice full day - small group - tour from Ljubljana
Well worth it!
, Jan 2020
Great guide. Comfortable transport. A lot to take in in a day, but good way to see Venice if you happen to be in Ljubljana. Not really enough time to go into attractions, but enough time to wander the streets and get a flavour of Venice. Our guide was very knowledgable and gave us lots of interesting info about Slovenia too on way there and back. Would highly recommend.
The drive to Venice from Ljubljana was wonderful, we made one pit stop on the way there and back. Once in Italy our time passed quickly. There was so much to see. We did not have much time to go into museums, however we did take a boat ride, and had a delicious lunch. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the entire area. He was very attentive to our wishes and needs. We are so glad we decided to do this trip!
Long day tour - however - for a first visit of Venice it's absolutely worth it.
Considering a 30 km construction site on the Autobahn - actually count 12 hours for the tour.
The price of € 95,00 plus 12 € for the outbound Vaporetto is a lot of Money. However, again, ist worth it and we were only 6 People on the tour with 4 Hours free time in Venice.
The Organisation and communication through Viator and the local agency Roundabout is absolutely excellent - so was our guide.

Lake Bled and Bohinj - Beyond the Alpine Lakes from Ljubljana
Fabulous day out
, Oct 2019
This was a day full of beautiful sights. Our guide had lots of local knowledge and helped us avoid the crowds. The gorge is stunning!!! We felt like we had plenty of time everywhere we stopped and the guide was flexible with the order and times. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to see the lakes.
Lucky enough to be there when the leaves were in full colour and the day was perfectly sunny and still. Our guide, Maja, was the best - friendly, informative about both the area, but also about Slovenia in general. I learned so much about the country’s past, present and it’s friendly people. Plenty of time for wandering and appreciating the beauty of the lakes; Maja was happy to stop at anytime for Photos, etc. highly recommended.
Enjoy the pristine Slovenian countryside during this all-day guided tour of Bled and the Bohinj Valley departing from Ljubljana. Surrounded by majestic mountains, Lake Bled seems like it’s drawn from a fairytale. During this tour, visit the 11th-century Bled Castle set high atop a cliff and then head to Bled Island. The tour finishes with a visit to the Bohinj glacier lake, the largest lake in Slovenia.
Tarun was a very friendly and chatty tour guide. He picked me up from my hotel in Ljubljana on time, and provided local knowledge about the area in Slovenia as we drove towards lake Bled. Once there, he provided a tour around the lake in the car, showing me good vantage points for photos. I asked for some time to walk around the lake alone, and we agreed a time and location to meet later, which he kept to. In total the trip was about 4 hours (without any traffic). This is a great way for a solo traveller or couple to explore Lake Bled if they do not want to drive themselves.
Tarun was a wonderful driver and guide for our tour to Bled. He took us to the perfect view points and drop off for the boat ride to bled island. We got some great pictures and our 2 small children had a fantasic time. The spot Tarun took us to for the Bled cake was possibly some of the best cake we have ever tasted and we will remember the first bite of cake for a very long time. While the trip was amazing, the best part of it was that Tarun, himself, was a great person to get to know and spend time with in the car. We could not have picked a better guide and I would highly recommend him to anyone!
We are a group of English speaking drivers who know the country very well. We will be very happy to show you the best view points for a good picture of Lake Bled as well give you some nice tips when you are walking around the lake on your own and also help you book a boat ride to the church castle and getting you to the best place for the famous Bled Cake.

This is Soca Valley (Vrsic Mountain Pass, Kobarid, Tolmin)
This is Soca Valley tour
, Jan 2020
We had a fantastic time on This is Soca tour with Jernej. Although we were only in Slovenia for a few days this is the perfect tour to see some of the spectacular hidden gems of the country. With his in depth knowledge and super friendly nature Jernej was a brilliant tour guide. We had the chance to visit some incredibly scenic locations and escape the busy crowd by going off the beaten track. He provided us with a personalised tour and took into consideration what we liked to see and he catered it for us. We had a great time on the tour and 100% recommend as a must go excursion. Remina & Lucy.

Bohinj Railway Steam Train Ride of the Alpine Region
One of Europe's better steam train rides.
, Sep 2019
A great ride through super scenery in historic coaches which would not be allowed to run on main lines anymore in most countries because they have wooden bodies. As a steam engine driver myself, I could appreciate the competent way that the locomotive was handled. The animation by the actors in period costumes adds to the fun of the trip too. The terminus is within 20m of the italian border, there is little there, but the station buffet with its sun terrace can be recommended.
Discover the scenery of Slovenia with a round-trip ride on the Bohinj Railway steam train from Jesenice to Nova Gorica. You'll pass by Bled, Bohinjska Bistrica, the Soca river valley and more as you admire the mountain landscape. Unspoilt nature at the foot of the Alps!
We’ll start today’s fairytale at Lake Bohinj, the largest natural lake of glacial origin in Slovenia. Maybe Bohinj lacks Bled’s glamour, but it’s less crowded and in many ways more authentic. We are going to follow the main tributary river Savica, through unspoilt forests of NP Triglav, taking us up to magical Waterfall Savica, very unique one among world waterfalls – its watercourse is divided into two parts in the hidden undergrounds. The famous A-shaped waterfall normally comes into sight at an altitude of 836 m and is 78 m high.
At Bled time for picture stop, time permitted!

Postojna Cave and Predjama Castle Small-Group Trip
, Oct 2019
Despite being late due to traffic Anna managed to get our day back on track and took got us to the castle/cave in good time. The dual ticket which seems a bit pricey at first €38 each it is actually really good value to see the vast cave and unique castle. Overall it was a really good day.

Full-Day Triglav National Park Tour from Ljubljana
So worth it!
, Oct 2019
I am incredibly happy I chose this full day Triglav National Park tour. I got to see countryside and nature I would not have had access to otherwise. Tour guide Mija was gracious, knowledgeable, and upbeat. I never went on a tour before and I'm so glad I did. We had a full day and I thought it was a perfect itinerary of walking to points of interest. Driving through the town's and seeing the small villages was also a great joy. Thank you so much for this unforgettable experience. I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in exploring Slovenian nature and learning some history along the way.
Upbeat, friendly and helpful host arrived perfectly on time to take us to some beautiful spots of sight seeing. We saw many fountains on the trip but didnt do water rafting - It was a bit cold!
Some downparts: you will have to be happy to spend predominate part of the day in the car, lunch was far too late being served at half 2 with a 7am start so bring plenty of snacks (perhaps a small lunch) and the day will probably go a little over 12 hrs so be prepared for a long day.
The stops on the way home were magnificent but all for only 5-10 mins. In my opinion, a touch too much to crowd in a day - I could have spent half an hour in any more than happily!
The tour was nothing short of perfect. The guide (hi Tara!!) was super nice and helpful, you get picked up close to your accommodation, the hikes are really nice and accessible to most people, the landscapes are gorgeous, and the other people from the group were great too!
We did the optional rafting thing too, it was also really nice and totally worth it.
An absolute must-do!
