Our your guide Alberto was fabulous. He was a wealth of knowledge. He was an expert guide and he made us feel comfortable and secure. We will recommend him and this tour to our friends.
Incredibly convenient, I was able to book on my phone and show the driver my confirmation. Made a long layover fun, especially since they pick you up near where the airport shuttle drops you off. Got a good feel for the city. My recommendation would be to spend plenty of time around the pier, it was my favourite.
This was a GREAT tour. So well done, lovely guide. We had an awesome time.
This is a great tour. I loved walking to see things and biking.

If you're looking to get great vistas of downtown LA and the Hollywood sign, as well as to stretch your legs and get in light exercise, this is the hike for you. I had a great time on this easy-level hike. Our tour guide Danny was polite and friendly, gave us a few historical tidbits along the way, stopped whenever anyone needed a breather, and gave me ample time to snap my pics.
The tour goes by the Hollywood sign for photo opps, but not THAT close. If you're looking to snap some closer-up pics, you'll want to bring along a zoom lens my photos were taken with a standard 50-80mm lens. The hike ends right at Griffith Observatory, which is free to check out minus the planetarium shows and offers a/c, toilets, drinking fountains, additional observation points for photos, etc. I would say this was a way better use of my free time than a walk in the city!
Things to note:
- Be advised that throughout most of the hike, there's spotty cellular signal depending on your carrier mine was Verizon Wireless.
- There's a free wifi hotspot right at the entrance to Griffith Observatory's parking lot you will see a sign for it.
- There's quite a lot of dust/dirt on the trail so make sure you're prepared. In other words, don't wear white. -
- Also, watch out for dog poop as dogs are allowed on the trails!
- The tour guide provides a small bottle of water for everyone, but depending on the heat and sun that day, you should probably bring a backup bottle just in case.
Doing what: Hollywood Hills Hiking Tour in Los Angeles
As it turned out, my daughter and I were the only people on the tour that day, maybe because it was unseasonably hot. Our guide was very good. He took us around Hollywood and then to the farmers market and Beverley Hills. We had already done the bike riding along the beach, but that is really a highlight. It was a very reasonably priced tour for us to get a taste of Los Angeles. And we also got a delicious cupcake!
The tour was everything I was expecting. Kenneth our driver was a safe, informative and humorous driver. My add-on tour of the stars homes was also great. Mikey, our driver was also humorous and informative. I would highly recommend these tours.

Our tour was outstanding. the tour guide gave us great insight and shared her ideas and thoughts. The time flew by. We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who has an interest in food and Hollywood. While we have been on several great food tours across the country, this was the best. Everyone seemed to know our tour guide Trish.

I booked 48 hour tour as I knew we had a lot of space to cover. Tour was great, gave a great insight of LA and surrounding areas. It was a hot few days..so sitting upstairs was needed. Some amazing places to see. I would recommend it
The drivers were helpful and friendly. We were able to visit Santa Monica and Fishermans Village, which were enjoyable stops to fill our 8 hour airport wait.
Because we booked online there was no map on the website showing the route and times needed to get to specific areas. I emailed the website to get further information about suitable pickups new to the airport, as we had never visited before but no one responded from Viator. Had I realised we would not be able to visit areas on the red route which were high on our priory to visit list, then I would have tried to arrange an alternative trip. For info we were also not aware that there were no luggage storage facilities at LAX airport to use when check not open. The alternative - using an external company, whilst worked out seems to me to be a less secure option for the airport!!! we did check our luggage thoroughly before checking in!!
Didn't know what I was stopping go see
Is waking for all street and take bus
